This QB class has really fizzled out from where we were when the College football season started hasn’t it?

Mel Kiper is a good example of what we are discussing. You could add Todd McShay and a host of others to that list. But we will have to disagree on that.
You see, other than a couple of months before the draft and during the draft these guys have near zero media presence. That are designated "draft experts". It's like having a part time job. I mean if they are smart enough to know they're nowhere nearly qualified to take such a job and know they would never make it at such a position in the NFL what you're suggesting makes perfect sense to me. And I'm sure many of them do realize that.
But anyone who seriously thinks they're qualified to take such a job I think would do so. I mean otherwise they're stuck in their part time gig a few months a year.
But I do think most of them as well as all 32 NFL teams know that aren't qualified to take on such a job. So to that extent we would be in agreement.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Shedeur?
I don't know the whole story. Maybe he turned teams off for any number of reasons. In the end he was passed over.
Obviously there is no maybe about it. He was a dud in the pre draft meetings. Players don't drop like that unless they are found with drugs or something like that near the draft. Prior to that everybody had him highly rated. All of the draft prognosticators make mistakes, but not all at the same time. I don't recall anybody saying Sanders was a late round pick at best. He went in to the meetings and couldn't answer questions. Team after team dropped him from their draft boards. They put him in the UDFA category.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong
