I have not said much about Shedeur.
I feel a bit bad about the media circus that the mindless numbskulls fill the airwaves with. It is part of the problem, so much media chatter, it is fodder to fill the airtime and something to talk about it. My wife calls the Sunday shows "The View for men"
Just because someone has a take, does not make it an accurate assessment. My advise for the media is to avoid it if at all possible. They make money for being provocative and filling the airwaves with interesting banter. Interesting is the key word. Accuracy or truthfulness in the content of the banter is irrelevant. Sell the ads.
Now, what I think of Shedeur. I liked him as a QB at Colorado. That team played well and was entertaining. I thought he had the potential to be a NFL QB. I did not like all the sacks in college but that can be a result of a bad offensive line.
Lots of drama about not being picked in the first round, and being picked by the Browns in the fifth. I think that KS does not like drama QB's aka Baker. I think the plan was to sit him all year and work with him in the off season to figure out. Gabriel was thought of as a player more ready to play. Then Gabriel gets hurt.
The Baltimore game was everything that one would have anticipated. But I think credit should be given to the Browns coaching staff, as Shedeur looks like a completely different player. If the Browns think that he can be the starter going forward, they have a reasonable sample size. If the starter is someone else, so be it.
