I watched the Jags vs Bills game.
I was very impressed by the Jags. Lawrence has come to power. He is the same guy I saw in the past.
The Jags offense was really good. I liked their play concepts and their execution.
When I saw that we were going to interview Grant Udinski. It immediately caught my attention.
Keep an eye on this guy.

Every very good-great head coach was once a coordinator. I'm sure in the coordinators being mentioned for HC jobs there will be some future very good head coaches. I hope if we go that route, we get the next really good one.

I missed adding the "not."
Lawrence is "not" the same guy. He has developed.
Udinski is the same guy that helped Darnold with the Vikings.
Obviously we are in the QB market. Whether we try and get a guy like Malik Willis.
Draft a guy. Or, work on Sanders.
Berry is looking for an offensive guy like Udinski.
He doesn't have a lot of experience but he was very good at his jobs.
He is probably a long shot. But if he interviews really well ya never know.
Keep an eye on GB and Matt LeFleur.

Is this guy a 3rd or 4th cousin of Chudzinski ? lol Rob was also considered a good OC I'm not excited about any coach. We have seen hires that we thought were really good to great. Got all excited or tee'd off over a hire. I don't care anymore about a coach's track record or what tree he came from. I just want the Browns to hire a guy who will change the culture and make the team a winner. Hire the guy you think fits, and all we can do is hope it's the coach that will turn it around and be in Cleveland for years winning. So to whomever you are coach. Ya better be that guy, or else ! lol

Same here. McDaniel doesn’t wow me, he’s kind of a nerd. All these coordinators we are interviewing…. who cares?
If Schwartz wants the job, we should give it to him. He deserves it and the players would feel comfortable with him. We already should have named him the HC.
Harbaugh, Tomlin aren’t coming to Cleveland.
I fear our clown FO is going to screw this up, led by Jimmy the Clown and AB as his trusted sidekick.

Sorry, not interested in a 30-year-old head coach. At first, I was very intrigued by Udinski. My main concern is whether Udinski has a list of experienced coordinators who will work with him? I can see a young group of people who never coached at a high level trying to run an NFL team. I thought about Harbaugh and Tomlin. Does either fit with Berry and Haslam? Neither of these two is coming to Cleveland without significant control.

I fear our clown FO is going to screw this up, led by Jimmy the Clown and AB as his trusted sidekick. The team has to meet Rooney rules. A stupid rule at this point. It was needed at one point, but I don't think it is needed any longer. If an owner is really a racist, they will simply interview some guy, say thanks for the time and then go do what they were going to do from the beginning. As for questioning the FO, I think we need to include JW Johnson. He is gaining more and more influence in the building. He has moved past being in charge of what songs will be played on gameday. As for multiple interviews, it has some benefit. The owners can gain some perspective from people outside of the building as to what the problems are and what they think can be done to fix the problem.

The NFL is one strange world.
The Browns have been dominated by Tomlin and Harbaugh.
Tomlin steps down. He never had a losing season. And, the Steeler fans are cheering?
Honestly if you look at the roster of the Steelers since Ben. Not good. Look at the quarterbacks. Not good. Rodgers is done.
They are not a good opportunity for a new coach. Tomlin knew it and knew it was going to get ugly.
Harbaugh is a different story. He got fired because he didn't win a championship with Lamar at his peak.
Games in the North will never be the same. The Bengals have the longest tenured head coach.
If the Browns ever want to rise now is the time.

FWIW: there's zero chance that Tomlin is coaching anywhere other than Pittsburgh next season as the Steelers still hold his rights since he was still under contract.
Knowing that, it's a slam dunk that he's moving to the broadcast studio. My guess is that Terry Bradshaw will be retiring or stepping aside and Tomlin will slide in.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I'm warming to McDaniel ... I could live with that. Miami has had some challenges. My problem with McDaniel is that he couldn't be any less Cleveland if you tried.
Meh.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ire-john-harbaugh-next-coach-per-report/Giants working to finalize deal and hire John Harbaugh as their next coach, per report New York lands its prized offseason addition early The New York Giants are working to finalize an agreement with former Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh to be their next coach, ESPN has reported. The deal is not done just yet, and contract numbers are still being negotiated. However, it appears Harbaugh has chosen his suitor. Harbaugh was fired by the Ravens on Jan. 6 following Baltimore's season-ending loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was the winningest coach in franchise history, going 180-113 during his 18 seasons, won Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 and was named Coach of the Year in 2019. While Harbaugh won 10 playoff games in his first seven seasons with the Ravens, he won just three postseason matchups over the last 11 years. Harbaugh was reportedly confident he would return to Baltimore to chase a Lombardi Trophy in 2026, but the Ravens made the decision to search for another coach that can get the most out of two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. When the Ravens made the surprising decision to fire Harbaugh, his agent said he received calls from seven different teams expressing interest in his client 45 minutes after the news broke, per ESPN. There were only six other head coach openings at the time. Harbaugh formally interviewed with the Giants on Wednesday with team owners John Mara and Steve Tisch reportedly in attendance, along with quarterback Jaxson Dart, per NFL Media. Harbaugh is set to replace Brian Daboll, who went 20-40-1 in his four seasons as lead man. The former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator went 9-7-1 in his first season back in 2022, won NFL Coach of the Year and upset the Minnesota Vikings in the playoffs. However, the Giants took a step back the next season with a 6-11 record, and went 3-14 in 2024 before Daboll was finally fired 10 games into the 2025 season. Overall, the Giants have struggled ever since Tom Coughlin resigned following the 2015 season. All four full-time head coaches finished with losing records. The Giants have the second-worst record in the NFL (55-109-1) in the 10 seasons since the Coughlin era ended. Only the New York Jets have been worse. For all of the struggles, the Giants were still considered to be one of the most attractive open jobs this offseason. New York owns the No. 5 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, has a prospective franchise quarterback in Dart, a talented running back with Cam Skattebo, a star wideout in Malik Nabers and then plenty of talent on the defensive line with Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence II and Abdul Carter. Now, they have new hope that comes in the form of an experienced coach that knows how to not only find success, but sustain it.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

I asked AI to write me a song about the Browns search for a HC - to an iconic song that sprung into my head while I was reading the NFL's latest:
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a coach like Don Shula? My friends all like Pittsburgh, they all mock the Clowns. Worked hard all my lifetime, since the 99 restart, now, So Lord, won't you buy me a coach like Don Shula?
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a playoff contender? The Ravens have Lamar, with his highlights renowned. And the Squeelers all smirk with their six shiny crowns, So Lord, won't you buy me a playoff contention?
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a year without chaos? No QB carousel, no cursed story-ends. Just someone to build it, and make us believers, Yeah Lord, won't you buy me a stable new leader?
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

I thought we had moved past that part of the song. Unless you want a ride through Central Park.
