At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

Interesting dynamic for Schwartz in this scenario. "Hey Jim, bad news, we're passing you over for the HC position. Good news though, the young buck you lost out to said he'd like you stick around and work under him."

IMO, I think Schwartz always knew he wasn't the #1 target. I'm also assuming Berry made that clear to him.

For JS it's still a good paying job where he is well respected. Hopefully he sees it that way.

Sounds like a highly qualified candidate with a longstanding NFL track record.
Nate Scheelhaase is currently serving as the Pass Game Coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams (2025–present), known for elevating the team to the league's top passing offense in 2025. Previously an Iowa State offensive coordinator, he joined Sean McVay’s staff in 2024 as an offensive assistant and pass game specialist.
2025–Pres: Los Angeles Rams (Pass Game Coordinator)
2024: Los Angeles Rams (Offensive Assistant/Pass Game Specialist)
Iowa State (2018–2023): Served as running backs/wide receivers coach, then promoted to Offensive Coordinator/QBs coach in 2023.
Illinois (2015–2017): Began coaching career as running backs coach/offensive assistant.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
