If the facts of what's going on in Minneapolis that I stated sound racist to you, maybe that should tell you something. I mean after all you're the one who brought up the word racist. I do know that a lot of people who are brown are being targeted just because they're brown. Even off duty police officers that are brown have been targeted. You can choose to call that anything you see fit.

So, where are all the violent protests in Texas and Florida? I mean, they're arresting nearly 15 TIMES the illegals. What's different?
I haven't heard of anyone being killed by ICE in any of those locations.
January 2026, widespread "ICE Out for Good" protests erupted across Florida, with significant demonstrations in Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Stuart, and Vero Beach, driven by outrage over intensified immigration enforcement and a fatal agent-involved shooting in Minneapolis. Protesters demand the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), citing violent, abusive practices, and opposing a proposed 1,500-bed detention center in Orlando.
January 2026, widespread protests erupted across Texas—including Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio—targeting increased ICE operations and the fatal shooting of a woman by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Demonstrators are protesting heightened, Trump-era deportation policies and the use of local jails for arrests, with events continuing in response to increased federal enforcement.

Man shot and killed by federal agents identified as Alex Pretti
The man's parents confirmed the 37-year-old man's death to the Associated Press.
MINNEAPOLIS — The man shot and killed by a federal agent in Minneapolis on Saturday has been identified as Alex Pretti.
The Associated Press reported Pretti's parents confirmed his identity, and that he worked as an ICU nurse.
State records show Pretti was issued a nursing license in 2021. KARE also confirmed he worked for some time at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a nurse.
Members of the Minneapolis Senate delegation released a statement also identifying Pretti.
"While we wait for more details, we share our deepest condolences to Alex Pretti, his family and friends, and the entire community impacted by this violence. We pledge to do everything in our power to make sure that those responsible are held accountable," the statement reads, led by DFL Senate President Bobby Jo Champion.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara previously said the man killed was a 37-year-old Minneapolis resident, a U.S. citizen, and a legal gun owner.
Family members told the AP was an avid outdoorsman who loved getting in adventures with Joule, his beloved Catahoula Leopard dog, who also recently died. He had participated in protests following the killing of Renee Good by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Law Enforcement officer earlier this month.
“He cared about people deeply and he was very upset with what was happening in Minneapolis and throughout the United States with ICE, as millions of other people are upset,” said Michael Pretti, Alex’s father. “He felt that doing the protesting was a way to express that, you know, his care for others.”
In a recent conversation with their son, his parents, who live in Wisconsin, told him to be careful when protesting.
“We had this discussion with him two weeks ago or so, you know, that go ahead and protest, but do not engage, do not do anything stupid, basically,” Michael Pretti said. “And he said he knows that. He knew that.”
The Department of Homeland Security said that the man was shot after he “approached” U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun. Officials did not specify if Pretti brandished the gun, and it is not visible in bystander videos of the shooting.
ICE kills another INNOCENT citizen for exercising their 1st and 2nd amendment rights. Here comes the muttonheaded right to defend it… straight trash. We told you MAGA, Trump is an idiot and a fascist; do you hear us now? Smfh, you can’t undo this damage without heads rolling, imho. Noem< Trump and the whole damn barrel of NAZIS should be immediately removed from office, sent to a jail for crimes against humanity, and executed very damn publicly asap.
And for the DTers still support agent orange and his gravy gestapo made up of white supremacist, militia dolts, and NAZIS; I find you revolting and want zero interaction with you. You disgust me and I wish YOU were the ones getting deprted.
Again. You and yours wanted this LOSER to be a heartbeat away from WineBox. Despicable.
LOL - and you still don't see the irony of this compared to sending a frothing mob to the Capital Building and telling them they have to fight like hell for their country otherwise they won't have one?
Waltz is culpable - Trump was innocent on all counts and any allegations were TDS !!
LOL

Texas: 36,400 arrests
Florida: over 20,000 arrests
Minnesota: 2600 arrests.
Where are all the violent protests in Texas and Florida? ICE just didn't "create" them yet??
No doubt a nice little "factoid" being spread through MAGA fanboy world ... Probably has absolutely nothing to do with a US citizen being killed by ICE? That couldn't be it could it.
I mean I understand some want to interpret those events differently - but a USA citizen died at the hands of ICE and it was all caught on video. MANY people - especially not the MAGA fanboys - look at the video and see a woman murdered, who was no threat to anyone and trying to get out of the vicinity. . . . Can't imagine THAT would make difference in MN vs FL or TX?

Until people understand that there is a difference between protesting and obstruction, stupid people are going to continue to be arrested and, in some cases, shot.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

You know there is a long and stories tradition of protest in the USA. Most of it would be classed as Obstruction ... if you go back far enough some of it would even be called an armed insurrection that founded the Nation. Suffragettes, Afghanistan, the peaceful Selma to Montgomery Marches were classified as obstruction .... and on and on and on. A very quick search lists dozens and dozens. Don't act like this is new or different or somehow a "Left/Communist" thing.

What is happening now with the left. Is far from American. It is unamerican in every sense.

Now show me any state in this country where obstruction is punishable by death. You use this as some kind of excuse to murder people? How sad.
ICE agents were coming towards a woman and he stepped in between. Maybe by being raised right he felt the need to protect a woman from having her ass beat by a bunch of armed thugs. The result is that he was killed for it. He was willing to take that beating for her instead of standing by and watching her take it. The sentence for that was death.

I believe Forrest Gump summed up both sides very well.
Stupid is as stupid does.
And now stupidity carries the death penalty? If that were true we would be having a lot more funerals. And in case you missed it, stupidity is only carrying the death penalty for one side. Maybe there should be equal consequences for both sides and nobody should be getting killed? Or both side should be........ Never mind.

All it takes to become a domestic terrorist in America is to be shot to death by ICE. The moment your heart stops beating you are instantly labeled a domestic terrorist. Somehow they think that excuses murder by labeling the victim as the bad guy. In the 1770's you would have been calling our forefathers terrorists. In the 1960's you would have been calling civil rights protestors unAmerican. History has never treated your kind well and this time won't be any different.
