Lamar is not getting traded.
That would be shocking.
However, he is listed as doubtful for Saturdays game against the Packers.
If the Ravens lose they are out of the playoffs.
In addition it changes the Browns game for Sunday. The Steelers will be the North's champs. They will rest their starters.
Giving the Browns an excellent chance to win Sunday. A win and the Browns chances to get a top QB in the draft are most likely shot.

This quote from Jimmy Haslam was in an article from March 29, 2022 (Nate Ulrich, Akron Beacon Journal).
According to the Browns owner, the idea of giving the largest guaranteed contract in NFL history to Deshaun Watson was cooked up by Andrew Berry.
“Andrew gets all the credit for not giving up. Keep digging and digging.”
Ulrich wrote that Haslam “insisted it was Berry’s decision to continue the pursuit.”
When asked about the record-setting guaranteed contract, Paul DePodesta said, “I doubt it’ll be a record for very long.”
So far, the only player to receive more guaranteed money has been Josh Allen ($250M).

I know it’s sometimes exhausting to read a whole article but I highlighted the source in case it’s hard for you to fully understand where these quotes come from.. The owner himself has now presented two versions. A) he doesn’t interfere with his GM and if Berry wanted the trade he supported it. B) the decision to trade for Watson was an organizational decision. It doesn’t matter what the truth is because only those involved know what happened and so far only one involved part has spoken. . .
