To be fair (and btw, I agree with you 100 on a longer suspension for Stephans) there is no league anywhere that won't $h*t-can you for punching players multiple times, yelling at coaches and refusing to come off the field. That dude is a straight head-case and got exactly what he deserved.

The problem is too many idolize the thug mentality. Be it in sports or anywhere else. The actual hit can be shrugged off as an accident. The celebrations can't. We have become like the Romans, a blood thirsty society.
