I'm 24 years old and I'm the youngest of six kids.

I have 21 nieces and nephews. The oldest two are both 18 and the youngest is 0.

I think I just have dry skin, I've tried a bunch of different soaps... Some really cut down on the itch, but sometimes I still get unlucky using the same soaps. It's weird, but it's just an itch, I can deal with it. Everyone always tells me to go to the doc... But it's always that little pain that is most annoying, like getting a papercut.

I'm seeing a lot of this in this thread, and I'm the same way --- hate onions, like onion rings. Like onions on kabobs - with peppers.

Kill the man/woman who puts onion on a pizza.

Although I have just gotten into dicing onions very finely instead of using onion powder in my famous chicken gumbo. Taste is much better.

cane i get real dry skin in the winter which itches, but

I recently bought some Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil with Aloe in it, and its really really helped.

That plus using Suave body wash with Cocoa and Shea butter. Its gotten rid of the dry skin pretty well

Hell, most people don't wash before they eat and now you want them to wash afterward, too? Demanding much?!

I think it comes from the fact I constantly bite my nails.
Which brings me to another quirk.
If I bite my nails too short, I'll put tape on them for a few hours so I don't subconsciously bite them.

I smoke and drink coffee every day yet have whiter teeth then almost anyone I know.

No kidding? [/sarcasm]

Ok give me a go:

--- If my wife and i lived in each others pockets we'd kill each other...i need my solitude, she needs her road trips.

--- (in ref to jc) 2 friends of mine pierced my nipple with a sewing needle and a thimble...it ook them 25 mins to put the sleeper through and i bled the whole time...needless to say it went septic and fell out and that ended my piercing experiment.

--- I tore my ACL playing football 6 years ago (aged 28) and haven't played sports since. My playing weight was 120 kg.

--- Since that time i balloned up to 138.1 kg (this time last year) due in part to my binging sedentary lifestyle. In August 07 i weighed in at 119kg but i'm now back up to 129 kg....i joined the gym i left in August yesterday for a years membership...first session in 45 mins.

--- My dog Banjo wakes me up at 7 am regardless of what day it is...i'm thinking of putting some lead in his ear...i love it when i get up before him like this morning (6 am) and put my cold wet nose in his face for a change.

--- I used to play Metallica covers in a garage band as a rythm guitarist. In a stupid moment i swapped 500 quids worth of guitar and amp for a sega megadrive. I took up guitar 10 yrs later and had forgotten everything i ever knew...it ain't like riding a bike people.

--- I'm a Warhammer 40k player...a hobby i used to have aged 15 and got back into last year. My Orks have a Cleveland Browns colour scheme....yes i must be a geek.

--- I love golf and fishing and yet i'm appaling at both... i always finish last with my friends on the green and i rarely catch anything with a rod.

--- Everything that Tool ever did is on my ipod. either side i have the Thompson Twins and Tori Amos.

--- My wife and i upped sticks and moved to Australia in 2003 despite not having any family here or knowing anyone in the country...before moving to current suburb i had 2 friends over here for a 2 year period.

--- Much like another poster i too am a beer snob. The best beer isn't "free beer" it's "good beer". 90% of the local brews are pure muck IMO. People have left me Carlton Cold after a BBQ and i've poured them down the sink...disgusting.

All i can think of for now and gotta bail.

Boo!! I lost my respect for them a few months ago. We just finished unloading their first truck and were backing in the second when the concert got canceled. Their excuse was a major throat condition...however they continued their tour the next night.

If you are going to lie about it, don't come up with an excuse that requires a vocal rest of at least two weeks. People aren't that stupid and they had a sold out crowd pretty mad. If you you are going to lie, at least say its the flu. At least that is understandable to continue on your tour. I ended up working 3 hours in prep and unloading only to not make a dime since the concert never happened.

con thats upsetting.

I didnt like their last album at all. I loved their previous, but much like a lot of these artists that "find god" they get bad at music. Tool did it and the guy from KoRn did it.

Just clicking...After sporting long hair since I was a child, I recently took a big step and changed my look with a new shorter style. The quality of this photo stinks since it was taken with a cell phone. My face looks wrinkly and my right eye looks like it's missing half the brow, lol. You get the idea though...

OK .. let's see ......

I have lived in only 2 states ...... but have lived in something like 12 different cities/towns.

I sometimes get deja vu feelings ...... but they're always wrong. I don't know if it's because I feel something and act differently as a result or not.

My cell phone does nothing except make and receive phone calls.

I am happy ..... but rarely satisfied.

I enjoy being alone at times.

The best advice for handling a conversation with a drunk came from a bartender friend who told me that no matter what they say, just respond "uh huh", "uh huh", "that's nice", "did it hurt?". I have used that to the great amusement of some friends I have let in on the secret. It is amazing how long some drunk people .... and even some not so drunk, will ramble on with only 4 endlessly repeated responses.

I frequently check out the local Goodwill store for goofy little stuff for the house.

I also shop the dollar stores.

I have been engaged once ..... but never married. Last I heard, she was married, and has 6 or 7 kids.

I can remember some numbers after hearing or seeing them one time ...... but sometimes forget my own phone number. (despite having the same cell number for years and years .......)

Married 34 years with 3 kids and 3 grandsnots...a great honor to have.

In a big box retail career I have been robbed at gun point 3 times, at the end of a hypodermic needle[supposed filled with tainted blood] once, otherwise physically assaulted a dozen times by detained shoplifters.
The strangest was on a Friday afternoon noticed a toddler choking on a piece of candy while the frantic MOM screamed for help...I performed the Heimlich[sp?] manuever on the kid and pop- out comes the candy. She hugs me and leaves. Next day,Saturday, she returns and thr²atens me with a law suit since her toddler has bruises to her torso where I squeezed her.

I've had tornado dreams since I was a kid too. I have doors not closing and locking when I need them to instead of the light switch thing.

What is wrong with us???? To add to these I also have dreams where I'm playing darts but the board is like 30 or 40 feet away and I can't come close to hitting anything. Why dreams of "futility" ?

My sister has the one with door locks that won't work. She also has them where her teeth fall out.

I think we're aliens?

Her teeth fall out?? Well, that would be a creepy dream, maybe the tornado is better.

Maybe we should have these things analyzed.

I guess waking up would be considered a far better option than finding an open stall in your dream and THEN waking up, huh?

EXACTLY! As frustrating as the dream is, like you said, I hope I never find an open stall.

I guess this goes along with my "fear" of public restrooms. I won't use them at all for the above function. Well, unless its an ermergency. Other than that, I have to use my home field advantage.

Do you hate it now? Just curious. I am thinking about getting my duaghter involved with music, I play guitar and I think if she learned piano it could give us something to have together when we hit those years.....You know the ones were she is going ot hate me.

Anyway, I don't want her to hate music, becuase I get her involved in it too early. Have you always enjoyed playing?

Oh yeah, I love playing....although I haven't recently because my piano is so horribly out of tune.

I did hate the lessons as a kid, though. I took lessons from the age of 6, until I was 14. My parents wouldn't allow me to quit and I'm glad they didn't let me.

I didn't really start my love of playing until after I quit. I guess it was because I didn't like the music that my teacher had me play (mostly classical). But now I love playing classical music. It's like you get lost in your own little world while playing.

How old is she Ingram? I also played keyboards as a child and wish that I still had a functioning keyboard in my house.

The keyboard I used as a child and young adult had sat for several years and was exposed to alot of the elements even though the Hammond was inside. (damn kids breakin windows and letting the tree rats into the house.)

Don't FORCE her but make a suggestion and then let her see an Alicia Keys video of her at the piano. I think Alicia Keys would be the best way to see if she is interested in piano. Even do a search on female piano players and see if you can find any video for her to watch.

Music is a way to express your inner being and if she has an excellent teacher then she will love to play. Vet this teacher if you have to and make damn sure they can get along or it will be ugly within a month.

I was very fortunate to have one of the greatest teachers around. She played with Frank Yankovich and the Yanks(yes polka but grammy winning polka). I was also very fortunate to be able to read music at a comprehension rate that she found amusing. She decided to set my lessons at every two weeks since I wasn't a bad organist but wasn't great. She taught me the finer art of music. You have to feel the music. You can become the music. It's such an incredible feeling when a song just reaches to your soul and grabs you and all you want to do is play it over and over again.

jmo (sorry bout the ramble)

That is good to hear, there are a ton a great teachers around the Austin Area and I have pretty much made up my mind that we are going go through with it, hopfully she can stick it out long enough to learn and have that skill as she goes forward, I am the same way with my guitar there is something about playing music that is very uplifting. People think I am crazy but if it were not for my wife and my guitar there is no way I graduate from college, I think learning music made me a wiser person. sounds dumb, but I believe it.

Isn't that the truth. For me it was my love of classical and big band music that she found so amusing because like you most kids hate classical music.

I used to hunt for sheet music anywhere and everywhere. I would even look for stuff when my parents would go garage saling. I found some really good pieces for a dime or quarter a piece. Then I couldn't wait to get home to play them. I remember one such piece....I read and re-read the sheet music on the way home. By the time we got home I was running for the keyboard cuz I had found a very good challenge.

For me, the harder the piece the easier I understand it, the easier the piece the more confused I get because it seems like there should be more.

I think getting the right teacher is the most important thing. My piano teacher was so cool, very passionate about the piano and music. She would give me a stern look if I played and she knew I hadn't practiced. When I went home and practiced hard and came and played for her she would sit beside me and cry. She made you want to play well.

This is an awesome thread. I have been addicted to reading it for the past 2 days. I guess I'll finally post.

--I got arrested for underage drinking literally 45 minutes before my 21st birthday.

--I physically spent 6 weeks with my wife before proposing to her, we were together for a year. (She lived in England)

--I love onions. I don't get pizza without onions on it, and I get extra onions on my food at Taco Bell

--I have been a vegetarian my entire life (31 years) and don't understand how people gain weight when they give up meat.

--I have been in 3 separate accidents (only 1 car accident) that i should have died in. The car accident was so bad that i had to be lifted out of the car using the jaws of life and a helicopter.

--I always have a salty side dish with my cereal. Whether its toast, muffins, or chips, I have to have something.

--I have wierd bouts of Deja Vu all the time. I will see something and know I have seen it before even though i have never been there. Same with situations.

--I am a total hypocrite. I am a manager and good at telling people what their job is and the rules are, but i break them all the time to cut corners. My Assistants love me for that!

--I keep getting promoted every time I decide I've had it and I am leaving my current employer. I don't know if someone knows whats up, or I am just meant to stay here.

--I once went on a road trip to Moab, UT for a month with 2 other friends. My buddy bought a jeep, souped it up with 33" mud tires, and we took off. Had the most fun I have ever had in my life and drove some wicked off-roading trails.

--I hate talking on the phone and pretty much ignore every call I receive unless it is my mom or my wife. I am more of a face to face person.

--My wife is prego and due in 6 weeks!!

I have a few more....

I have Photic Sneeze Reflex (occurs in 17% to 25% of humans) which means I sneeze quite a bit when in sunlight so I have to where sunglasses all the time.

I can juggle. Including basketballs, hatchets, bowling pins.

I used to drink beers with Joe Charboneau on occasions at BW3 in North Ridgeville until it closed.

My first Browns game was a Monday Night game in 1977 against the Pats.

I never went to any high school events (any sports, prom, dances).

I recently thought about a girl I had really liked in elementary school (mid-70's). Jumped on a classmates site and looked for her. Found out she works for the law firm NEXT DOOR to where I work!

I was once seriously dating my ex-brother-in-law's step daughter. My nephew called me his "bruncle-in-law"

- I secretly like Jules and find bickering with her entertaining
- I love dogs

Thats all I can think of right now
