lets get this series going already. I am wondering how LBJ comes out tonite knowing he finished 4th in the MVP behind Garnett. Garnett finishing ahead of LB is laughable...

I never said LeBron wasn't the best player in the series. That's obvious. Not sure what you're trying to get at there, but LeBron can't beat Boston by himself.

And I really hope you are not calling me a bandwagon Celtics fan because I've always been a Celtics fan and only like the Cavs because I like the Browns and I wish the best for all Cleveland sports teams.

Are people in Boston retarded or what? What's with the fireworks, inside, before the game?

Ugly start for both teams so far...

Pierce in early foul trouble - could be bad for them... though Celtics heating up now.

No kidding ... Cavs might be up by ten if Wally could hit a bucket. What really stinks is he's out there for his offense, and not his defense.

We need to get the Tribe pitchers some blind folds. Everytime we give someone a lead they give it right back.

Boston is on fire right now. The Cavs need to figure out how to make a jump shot real quick or this could get ugly for you guys.

Sweet. We're on pace to score 60.

Too bad we're not playing the Heat.

we look like a team that's been off for a week - hopefully we can wake up soon or this could be a long night.

If Boston shoots 60% the entire game, it won't matter what we do. Same goes for any NBA team.

If we shoot 20%, it won't matter what we do either. We've had open looks, we just aren't hitting them.

Yeah, I think everyone just needs to take a deep breath (LeBron included). We were pressing a bit early but seem to be settling in.

KG on big Z on D is a really smart decision.

Varejao, as good of a defender as he is...i think hes too slow to cover KG.

Boston looks really good now

Man, this is some S-L-O-P-P-Y play all around.

+3 with LeBron out is always nice though.

That was a weak flop attempt by Brown.

James needs something to get him going - he's ice cold from the field...

maybe a few more plays to the hole.

LeBron has to drive to the hole to get himself goin.

Bostons starting to play sloppy again and the Cavs are gonna have to take advantage to get back in it. They're lucky Boston hasn't been able to capitalize on a lot of opportunities.

I surprisingly am OK with this game right now - as I type, Cavs are only down by 6, and Lebron is not having a good game. I do not think that will last the rest of the game.

As long as we keep it close the rest of the half

Stupid foul on LBJ... not the way you want to end the half.

That foul at the end of the half was garbage.....LeBron holds his ground, Rondo is COMPLETELY out of control and they call a block.

4 point deficit, not bad at all with that horrific start.

You are right Jay. Funny how he does make mistakes sometimes...

He will learn from that. I can't remember him making that mistake before...

Lebron seems to be off his game tonight. He hasn't been taking the greatest of shots, he's had a few turnovers, and that wasn't a smart foul to take at the end there.

I also hope that he's legitimatly getting hit on some of these fouls. He seems to be playing up some of the contact he's taking. On that one flagrant foul, I didn't see where he got hit in the face. I hope he's not going "soccer player" on us. He's way too good for that. Then again, maybe he's just a little miffed that Dwayne Wade was able to flop his way to a title.

I'm glad it's still somewhat close.

On the replay, you could see clearly he took a good shot to the mouth from the defender's left hand. I didn't see it until the replay, but the front shot showed it and it looked pretty hard.

Cassell reached around and got LBJ on the face during the end of that play. Bron does overact a little, but it works for him.

I am ecstatic we are only down 4. We played absolutely horrible in the first half. The foul at the end of the 1st half was baffling.

I predict that LBJ will explode in the 2nd half.

Garnett is looking good. I'm not sure he's missed a shot. The Cavs have no answer for him if he gets the ball inside of 10 feet.

He is having an off game IMO... that last foul looks like he was just trying to run him out of bounds but got caught up... dumb but oh well

on the Cassel foul I saw him get grabbed by the jersey but didn't think he got hit in the mouth when I saw it live... on the replay it looked like he got smacked in the face right at the end... don't think Sam meant to hit him in the face, but looks like he did...

and I saw this bowl lady at the Cavs/Rockets game here in Houston... we lost that game... if we lose tonight I'm going to break all her bowls.

lebron isn't having a good game, i agree

but dude's flirting with a triple double...

i was actually surprised to hear the audio of doc rivers basically saying that he doesn't want to play in a half court offense, because that's what the cavs want... just something to keep in mind as this series goes on...

we've had some really dumb possessions, and yet find ourselves only down 4, keep the turnovers down, and find clean looks...

one good sign is that lebron is attacking the basket... a lot of his points are coming at the line, we want that...

i think either paul pierce or ray allen is going to get going... we just have to keep them under control... those guys are both too good to have 2 points between the both of them...

and yes, our bench outplayed theirs in the second quarter, without lebron on the floor, we got ourselves back into the game...

wally made 2 jumpers, that is a good sign...

kevin garnett has that mid range corner jumper going, but you really have to give him that... he's too good in the post to gamble with getting in his face that far from the basket... we will have to live and die with him taking that shot...

i won't be able to comment on the rest of this game, as i have a playoff game of my own

go cavs!
