How the hell did you manage to get Peterson, Portis, and Jackson? Nobody likes drafting RBs in that league? That's a stacked backfield.

Heres one of my teams.
ESPN league - 10 Teams, picked 10
QB - Schaub, Garrard RB - Lynch, Barber, Julius Jones, Kenny Watson WR - Boldin, Colston, Housh, S. Moss, Isaac Bruce TE - Witten, Olsen D/ST - Vikings, Bucs K - Crosby
What do you think? Personally, I really like it and IMO, my team is the best team on paper at the moment.

It's a solid team all around for picking last. I picked last as well in my league, and I was quite happy at the end. I wasn't happy at all when i drew that 10.
The only team on paper that looks to be better than mine was the team that drafted first.

your WRs are sick but you're liing on the razor's edge until you trade for some RB depth. i don't faor drafting julius jones at all, but i may be biased due to getting burned on drafting him in the past.

He has Lynch and Barber for his starting RB's. That's a nice duo to have. Anything else is a bye-week player. He'll be in good shape.
Same with me. I am stacked at my WRs: Moss, Fitzgerald, Marshall, Evans, V Jackson.
My RBs are Addai and Lewis, then Graham and F Jones on the bench.

QB - Jason Campbell RB - Marion Barber III RB - Marshawn Lynch WR - Braylon Edwards WR - Andre Johnson WR/RB - Michael Turner TE - Heath Miller D/ST - Patriots K - Neil Rackers
Bench: QB - Kurt Warner RB - Lendale White RB - Matt Forte RB - Ray Rice WR - Joey Galloway WR - Bryant Johnson WR - DJ Hackett
Our league scores 1 point for every 10 passing yards and 6 for a passing TD. One guy has Peyton Manning and Romo and he needs a RB. Anyone think I should try trading Lynch for one of them since I have Turner, White, Forte and Rice? or should I stick it out a few weeks and hope Warner starts and/or Campbell plays better then the garbage he showed in preseason?

Wow, 1 point for every 10 passing is a lot. That would pretty much make QBs about the most important spot.
I don't like leagues that give QBs less (4) for throwing TDs, but I only give a point for every 25 yards passing.
But, I'd hate to see you give up Lynch and leave you with guys that are more like your 3rd and 4th RBs starting. Turner has upside, but I don't care for White at all. It's a tough call. Romo is a huge upgrade over Campbell. I've watched the 'Skins 3 times during this preseason. He looked halfway decent in the HOF game, but looked terrible the last 2 that I watched. It looks like Warner is going to start over Leinart, but Whisenhut is goofy. He rotated them last season, which can screw you over big time.

Ha, you have a lot of similarities to my team last year.
I had both of your QBs as well as S Jackson and Portis.
(I didn't finish very well, but it's a new year)

I actually missed the first two rounds, those were the Jackson and Portis picks. Got to the draft part way in the third.
Westbrook went one pick after mine, that would have been my pick had I been there. Lynch, Larry Johnson, and Romo went right after the Portis pick. Jamal, Wayne, TO, and Braylon went right before Portis.

So today I had both of my drafts but due to work I had to pre rank my players which I hate doing. However I am pleasantly surprised with my picks 10 team leagues:
QB: Peyton Manning David Gerrad
WR: Torry Holt Marques Colston Greg Jennings Dwayne Bowe Donald Driver
TE: Jason WItten Owen Daniels
RB: (Super Stacked I think) LT LJ (Larry Johnson) Willie Parker
K: Nick Folk
Def: Pitt NY
D: Ware DJ Williams The league is a 1 QB, 2 RB and WR, ! TE, 1 w/t, 1 K, 2 D players and 1 Def.

Yeah, you're set at RBs.
The guy in my league that drafted LT also ended up with LJ. Which was my doing.... I had LJ the highest rated RB on my board, but I passed on him for Jamal.
For one, I've never had a Brown on my team in FF. Now, I wouldn't base my decision on something dumb like that, so the second reason was he is returning from injury. The third is he's lost 3 starting OL since 2006 when he had a big year. Jamal has looked crisp, so at the last second before I called his name out.... Jamal Lewis came out of my mouth.
Hopefully it turns out to be the right move. For more than one reason.

I am actually a bit concerned with my WR as Holt is not what he used to be, I like Bowe but who is going to throw him the ball? And the with Jennings and Driver they are both on the Packers, so I hope Rogers can at least help them have the seasons they did last year with Favre. With LJ he hasn't had a tremendous year like he had 3 years ago and they have a terrible OL doubt he is going to get the points like he used to, particulaly since he will probably be the focal point of their offense. He might have a year like gore did last year, decent but not elite due to that.

i have 3 teams...
carson palmer
joseph addai clinton portis
braylon edwards marques colston
W/T santonio holmes kevin smith santana moss
rob bironas
Bench rashard mendenhall chester taylor
this league also drafts defensive players, i won't list them because i don't agree with drafting defensive players and i think it's a waste of time.
the next team...
donovan mcnabb
clinton portis thomas jones
terrell owens roddy white bernard berrian
josh brown
seattle
Bench reggie bush rashard mendenhall donte stallworth john kitna
eli manning
the last team
tony romo
lt rashard mendenhall
larry fitzgerald santonio holmes
benjamin watson
W/R roy williams
Bench deangelo williams santana moss kenny watson reggie brown kurt warner
josh brown
baltimore
yes, i know, i love rashard mendenhall, i have no idea how that happened, but i think he'll see pretty significant time with the steelers this season.
in 1995, i did my very first fantasy football team, i won the entire thing that year, and since then i haven't even come close, i have horrible luck with fantasy football, i was considering taking all steelers just because my guys constantly get hurt, but i did take rashard mendenhall 3 times, and drafted carson palmer, so cut me some slack.

That's basically what I was thinking with LJ. He'll give you some solid numbers. I used to covet him. I would have taken him 2 years ago over LT. He had a fantastic year, but too bad LT broke records in that season. Last year, I still like him in the top 3, but this year I was a little more worried. He'll still put up some good numbers for you. I just decided to take a chance and go with Lewis. As far as your WRs go, you're always going to have a weakness. You can't be stacked at every position. Take a look at your team. You have the(consensus) #1 RB, the #2 QB, and Witten can be considered anywhere as the #1 to #4 TE ( I had him 3rd). You also have a kicker playing on one of the highest scoring teams in the NFL, as well as a solid D in Pukesburgh ( I took them as well.....almost vomited when I did ). To go along with that, you have LJ and Parker, 2 great RBs to have. So you are going to have a weakness, and it's your WRs. Holt isn't going to put up the numbers he has in years passed. I had him and Wayne last year, and had the 2 ranked similarly. Wayne far outplayed him. He'll still be targeted a lot since the rest of their WRs are weak. He'll be a solid player for you. Bowe has a lot of potential. Nobody else to throw to except Gonzalez. But I agree, the QBs suck, and their line isn't going to make some bad QBs any better. Colston can have good numbers in a Drew Brees pass happy offense, but he also has more weapons around him now.... Shockey is in New Orleans. Jennings has had some nice years here, but he lost Favre, so there's a question mark. He'll definitely have a better year IMO than Driver. I think you're receivers are solid. Maybe not great, but they're not bad. I think the rest of your team is pretty darn good, so you should have a nice shot.

Let me know what you guys think......12 team league
QB: Derrick Anderson, David Gerrard RB: Joseph Addai, Jamal Lewis, Reggie Bush, Kevin Smith WR: Terrell Owens, Lee Evans, Jevon Walker, Donte Stallworth, Ted Ginn Jr. TE: Antonio Gates, Mercedes Lewis K: Josh Scobee Def: Phili (But that's subject to change depending on matchups)
I like having 4 RBs, even if only two can start because it's good trade bait and you can play matchups/injury backup. Same thing with two extra WRs. I think that Walker might be halfway decent, same thing with Ginn Jr. I like picking up Gates early because he consistently produces more than almost any NFL TE and plays a position of generally low fantasy production.
I don't pick my defense until a few weeks into the season, if at all. Otherwise I go with matchups, picking crappy offenses that defenses play. Scobee has a bye week during week 7, so I should be good for at least hte first 6 weeks with him. If need be, I can trade after another kicker's bye week when they become available.

Pretty similar to mine, actually. It's a solid team.
I have Garrard as my back up QB as well, and my 2 starting RBs are Addai and Lewis. I was targeting Bush as well, but he was picked 2 spots ahead of me.
Lee Evans is my 4th WR.

I missed the first round of my draft, so Gore was auto taken, I wanted Marion Barber at #8. I got lucky with Turner falling to round 5. Chris Johnson looks pretty good, hopin I can deal him and Calvin Johnson for T.O., Moss or Plaxico.

I have Moss in my league. The only problem is I'm wondering how good they'll be with Brady out for the year.
At this point in time, it may be a little easier to get Moss because of the injury, but T.O. may be the top WR because of that now.

Oh man, some idiot just dropped Donald Driver after week one in my league.....
He clears waivers here at midnight..... my WRs will now consist of:
1. Randy Moss 2. Larry Fitzgerald 3. Brandon Marshall 4. Lee Evans 5. Donal Driver 6. Vincent Jackson
Is that legal? Would be even worse if Randy Moss still had Brady throwing to him.
