I am old, so you may have to google some of this. I also did some bar DJ for awhile. No particular order, and if I type longer, then I will change my mind a good number of times. Thar she blows!

1) Soundtrack album: The Jimi Hendrix Film. Some great stuff and good film. It has two Bob Dylan (his greatest influence!) covers, some classic blues, and JH on a 12-string acoustic on a piece. I detest some of the fluffy interview crap, would rather have more Hendrix, but some GREAT stuff here.

2) Montrose. First album. Played this on my FM radio show. Over glam-packaged a sfar as "managed" sound, but way fine. Kind of driving music like Radar Love by Golden Earring. Singing helps!

3) Queen, "A Night at the Opera" Before the SNL popularity, Freddie Mercury owned some folks' radios.
There is life after Bohemian Rhapsody.

GREAT album,...I need to replace mine--gave it away to my buddy in Charleston,...and I would really like to find a copy of Radar Love,...any idea what compilation disc it might be on ?? (if not, I'll research it,...)

Thats hard to narrow it down to just three, not in any order....

1. Black Sabbath...Heaven & Hell

2. Waylon Jennings......Super hits.....

3. Bob Marley....Exodus..

Molly Hatched no guts no glory...wow....Lynard Skynard.....man there are alot of great ones, but these three are more for not only the music but where I was & what was going on at that point of my life, all three bring back great times, good friends and cloudy memories....mon....

I can't stand rap myself, but I don't say "it's not music" because it is... mostly.
To each his own: if someone likes rap, good for them.

Yep, whatever makes a person chill out with some good tunes is very awesome!

The thing about rap...often times it seems as if they are wired away and ready to hurt somebody really bad, instead of chill out and make it with a special lady!

Maybe I am totally wrong and misunderstanding the difference between rap and hip hop...not sure what the difference is!

PEACE!
