I am old, so you may have to google some of this. I also did some bar DJ for awhile. No particular order, and if I type longer, then I will change my mind a good number of times. Thar she blows!
1) Soundtrack album: The Jimi Hendrix Film. Some great stuff and good film. It has two Bob Dylan (his greatest influence!) covers, some classic blues, and JH on a 12-string acoustic on a piece. I detest some of the fluffy interview crap, would rather have more Hendrix, but some GREAT stuff here.
2) Montrose. First album. Played this on my FM radio show. Over glam-packaged a sfar as "managed" sound, but way fine. Kind of driving music like Radar Love by Golden Earring. Singing helps!
3) Queen, "A Night at the Opera" Before the SNL popularity, Freddie Mercury owned some folks' radios.
