Reading is F-U-N-D-A-M-E-N-T-A-L....Re-read my post. I said 99.999% of the males posting on THIS thread would get chewed up and spit out.

I know there's another current/former pro wrestler who posts/posted on this board so I know HE'S done it.

Those who don't know the inside of the business or have never done it should just shut their holes before they continue to make themselves look like fools.

I'm pretty sure it was CoachB who once PM'ed me about his short career in the professional wrestling ranks. He said it was after football during a very dark period of his life.....

I don't know why, but I kind of believe him.

I think there was another guy, Merth?

I agree with the "dark period" comment. Outside of bodybuilders, a lot of the pro wrestlers/promoters I ran into were "morally bankrupt" (Superfly Snuka, Jake Roberts comes to mind). That, along with an injury, is what soured me on the business and got me out.

I'm with him on this.

I don't wrestle but I used to follow it religiously, I've read up on the ins and outs of the business. I can't imagine how rough their lives are.

As for juicing...not everyone juices but it's prevalent. Cena looks like he juices but he's the only guy that big who I think is clean.

Dude, wrestling is scripted, and it's entertainment. - Take a look at the NFL postseason, the MLB postseason, and the NBA postseason over the last decade and tell me that those weren't scripted. - If you consider the NFL, NBA, and MLB sports than you have to consider WWE a sport.

Also, I can't believe some of you people claim that Nascar isn't a sport. No, it's not a sport. - It doesn't take any physical prowess to drive over 120 miles an hour for hours on end. I mean, it's not like Nascar drivers have to have really, really, sharp reflexes to avoid other cars around them that are also going over 120 miles an hour.

I mean, Nascar is so not a sport, it's not hard at all, heck, it's not like some of the greatest drivers of all time die racing. - I mean it's so easy, that's why guys with lots of experience can make it through without dying.

Some of you people need to get a grip. - Nascar is more of a sport than anything else mentioned in this entire post.

Don't forget the refs trying to fix Game 4 in the Cavaliers' series.

BTW, where does the term "tin foil" originate?

NASCAR is a sport because they are competing, now you can question whether they are athletes but if you knew anything about what it takes to drive one of those cars you would know they are athletes.

The guys in the WWE are incredible athletes, so are dancers. Dancing is not a sport. Either is WWE.

Dying because something is hard doesn't make you an athlete. People die all the time on the job. Dumb analogy.

And I love your sarcasm. Like when you say the opposite of what you mean. It's great. G-R-E-A-T.

Hey, now I sound like a cheerleader. You know, those athletic girls who yell out stuff at sporting events (ie. not NASCAR) and jump around in little skirts.

There is no question in my mind that it takes extraordinary skill to be a driver, but you'd have a hard time convincing me that those guys are "athletes".

When I think of Nascar drivers, I think of the kids in school who never changed outta their blue jeans for Phys Ed, and looked awkward whenever they tried to throw a football or dribble a basketball. You know the look, when they hold the football in the center of the ball and throw an ugly duck that looks like its missing a wing.

They worked on the family farm and smelled like motor oil all the time from working on their tractor.

Hillbillies remind me of Nascar, or vice versa.

So your saying the only difference between Hillbillies and drug addicts is that the HillBillies work

Many drug addicts work, some hillbillies are drug addicts.

Whether many drug addicts like NASCAR, it would depend on how many of those drug addicts are Hillbilles.

the ability to successfully drive a stock car at the top level is deinitely a different skill set than it would to play baseball,or football or a sport like that. Different, not lesser. For someone who tends to be a alternative thinker you sure are being narrow minded.

I could say the same thing about playing video games.

If you have to operate complex machinery, it's not a sport IMO.

You can't be proud of that barroom generality.

I hate NASCAR, despise it... I can't stand watching two minutes of it... but I know lots of people who love it and most of those I would not classify as being remotely close to "hillbillies".

To each their own, derden.

Because stunt men train how to fall without getting hurt too. They may not always be roid users but they train just like "Wrestlers". Real wrestlers are athletes....WWE type wrestlers are muscle men that train to perform stunts that look real and are entertaining. Just because they get hurt and are athletic doesn't mean that WWE wrestling is a sport.

You know what I find funny about this thread....the NASCAR fans and the WWE fans acting like they're offended because they think we're dissing them by saying they're not a sport.

Relax people...it's okay that NASCAR isn't a sport. It's okay that WWE is not a sport. They are not sports any more than those stupid poker playing tournaments that they show on ESPN. Why would I bring up poker, you ask? Because a) it's competitive, and b) it requires skill. Those are the two requirements that you NASCAR freaks are saying it takes to qualify as a "sport", right? Okay, so then you gotta agree that poker is a sport too. Errrr...not.

And again, I'm not dissing NASCAR. I happen to love Casey Kahne.

I will most certainly diss WWE however, because it's just plain dumb.
