I don't really have a favorite college football team. I root more for players.
That's fine but are you fletch? All he did was blast other teams but was to chicken to tell everyone his faivorite team. Oh yeah OSU will curb stomp whoever they play in the Rose Bowl.

I am not Fletch. I promise.
All I have to say is that if Ohio State plays Oregon or Stanford they have a 0% chance of winning.

Why does a thread exist for a game between a mediocre team and a below-average team? Is there some sort of rivalry between these two craptastic teams?
perhaps you need to brush up on your college football history.

why not? we have a thread in the gameday forum for two unbelievably bad teams...
honestly, if ohio state loses, there shouldn't be any fire tressel posts. michigan has every reason to win this game, they're at home, they need this game to even get into a bowl. ohio state has already clinched their rose bowl berth, they're playing in the same game regardless of win or loss.
you're trolling, and that is incredibly lame.

my wife is a big USC and Pac10 fan, so I get to watch a lot of those games. Oregon's offense would be everything that OSU has struggled against. Fast dual-threat QB, lightning quick RB and lots of misdirection. On defense, they have extremely athletic DBs, but they gamble a bit too much and can be burned. They are not nearly big enogh upfront to deal with OSU's OL, so that would be where to attack them.
stanford, on the other hand, is a pretty standard offense with Gerhart's power running and Luck running sort of a spread-WCO. Their defense however, that would be annihilated by the OSU offense. They are much more lethal than earlier in the year and Stanford just doesn't have the athletes yet on that side of the ball.
so, Oregon....bad matchup...wouldn't say 0%, but the Ducks should be favored.
the Cardinal...Buckeyes would rightly be favored.

I get to see some Pac 10 games as well.
For those that have not watch Andrew Luck of Stanford, he is worth a tune in. Of all the college QB's I think he has the most potential, even though he is a red-shirt freshman.
I believe stanford play cal this weekend. I have started taping some stanford games just to get a look.
I have not made my mind up about gerhart. All stanford seem to run is quick pops through the line, so I question his overall speed.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

I am pretty sure Fletch has been banned for finally admitting to the refs what I have called him out on for over a year now, that he is really Jaft, who has been banned from just about every Browns board ever created.
Crfs has been on long before Fletch/Jaft disappeared.

ok, im not a fan of the osu jerseys, not the game to go with throwback jerseys. Demetrius Stanley brought up a good point, athletes are creatures of habit, and a new look in a game like this could be a distraction.
ehhhh, i do like the numbers on the helmets, it just feels less like an OSU-um game without the proper threads.

LMAO
Yep I'm banned............ Just a note so you can stop your chest pounding, you didn't call me out on anything, the Ref's knew who I was when I started posting as Fletch, if anything you were a little slow on figuring out who I was, LMAO you calling me out on something I easily have admitted, good detective work their!!!
Now please let it go and move on and please realize you have no clue (as usual) about what your talking about...

I can't help but after Deep said Chekwa would be a 3rd round pick if he left early. Our corners are mediocre at best.

break out the victory formation now.
hey UM....you played well today....your defense played better than I have seen them this year....
but, as you say...Hail to the Buckeyes
(and I think everyone has the 'Denard Robinson runs the ball every time he is in the backfield' thing figured out)

Its now November 21st 2009 and once again....MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS!!!!
GO BROWNS!! If you're a real fan, gut-wrenching defeat is not something you discard a team for -- it's something that fuels your lunatic devotion.

I'm beyond esctatic right now and it's been over 4 hours! Man I would have never thought a coach would dominate Michigan after the Coop years. I love the guy for geting our boys for the national championship team. However, when he lost to michigan it always put a damper on the year for me. I might be the only one who feels this way but losing to Michigan can ruin an entire season. All I can say now is thank GOD for Jim Tressel! O-H!!!

Just clickin Lima
Just to get it out of the way but I apologize to Fletch for making a guess that he had been banned. I was incorrect and am so ashamed that I was wrong about it. Considering his history whenever he does not post for awhile I assume he is banned again,my mistake this time.
Ok on to the game, I think Michigan really came out pumped up and actually played above their heads for quite a bit of todays game. Becaue of that they actually were able to stay in this game, but I think eventually they were just in way over their heads and the better team beat them down.
Michigan knew they were outclassed and that is why they did so much woofing and posturing from before the game and through much of the game. They were trying to convince everybody, including them selves that they were anywhere near the team that the Bucks are. Eventually we just smashed them in the mouth. I thought Michigan pretty much acted like classless jerks and I find that kind of sad for a program that has as proud of a tradition as Michigan does.
