I certainly dodge the bullet on snow this year. Moved to colorado after they got hit, and left cleveland before they got hit.

Comin down pretty good here, Kent cancelled classes till 11am tomorrow. Yay. Its really not that bad, I've seen/driven in worse. I can handle snow. Cant drive on a skating rink though.

I just looked outside and saw an almost accident. Now mind you Saint, we are talking the MAIN road through the middle of town! Like GM said, we don't have road crews around here anymore...guess they are just too cheap to hire anyone anymore. The roads are starting to look like your picture. I'll take a couple more pics later this afternoon.

It's been super windy here, but as for snow fall, we sure haven't gotten much - unless it all has blown away.
Have a few drifts, got my car stuck in the second driveway this morning..........kinda sucked. Shoveled for a little, then went and got my daughter and the H3, pulled my car out, parked the H, then went uptown to get kerosene and gas......kinda looking forward to cruising around later today.

Here in Logan County,they canceled the winter storm warning. Now it's a blizzard warning!  We're looking at around 7 inches now and still falling hard.

Just did the drive from downtown to Strongsville on 71s - 55 minutes for a 20 minute drive. Rush hour will be fun for most Clevelanders. 3 wrecks, 2 involving SUV's and a car that flew off the side of the road, way down a hill.

I'm listening to the police scanner and there are crashes everywhere. I think they would have been better off leaving the snow on the roads earlier. A half inch of ice is what we have on them now. Along those same lines, my neighbor was snowblowing his driveway earlier and I kept watching for him to start doing mine. I was going to yell at him not to. I would rather have three layers (snow, ice, snow) than straight ice on the driveway. His pull start string broke, though, and now he can't use it.

Yellow snow is better than brown snow My 15 min drive home took 30 min, and always the idiots are out on the roads. They either drive 10 to 15 MPH on the highway, or 70 mph

I thought I'd check and see what all was closed, so I go to my local newspaper site (basically the only thing that covers Wooster) and they want me to have a paid subscription to view the school closings/business closings as well as the weather statements for the area. I could not believe that! Anything to try and make a buck I guess...  EDIT TO ADD: I called down there, as well as wrote a nasty e-mail, and it was an "accident" and was supposed to be free content. Its been fixed now. Amazing how quickly things happen when people complain...

That's what happens when you live in cheesy little town. Alliance Review is the the same way. If you want to view any of the paper online you have to pay for it.
