j/c,....LBJ -- Nine turnovers.
They all hug like they're best buddies.
I guess they are.
They all take home their millions without having to perform.
Disgusting.

what a disgusting ending
I've seen Tracy McGrady make 13 points in 33 seconds. Giving up with over a minute left is revolting.

Mailed it in is exactly what they did...I'm in disbelief right now. I defended this team and gave them the benefit of the doubt and never wavered, but clearly I was wrong to do that...they didn't even try...wow.

No hustle
No effort
No desire
No 2nd round series win
I have been in Mike brown's corner .... but I really have to wonder if he survives this disaster. This team just laid down and quit. I'm disgusted. Bad shots .... no hustle .... I just don't get it.

They had not shown a sense of urgency except for a half in game 1 and most of game 3.... other than that, they played like they didn't care.

Shaq said that this game would show what the team is made of. Evidently, the thing they're made of is quitters .....

Mark Jackson's post game comments were spot on " I saw a team that quit "
Come on guys, are we really surprised. I saw this coming during the Chicago series and was laughed at on here.
Let Lebron go, it isn't happening here for us or him with him here. Let's get a better coach and a couple saavy vets.

This team just frustrated us all tonight man, sorry that I went off. But I tried to have faith in a Cleveland team for once, and this is what we get in return.

You're absolutely right. If they came out and played their best and the Celtics just had the series of their lives and pulled it out by the skin of their teeth, he may get another chance. But coming out and looking like they didn't care...Mike Brown is done after that. How can they not fire him?

I don't know how many times you guys need to hear it ... it's not they don't care, they do care ... they just don't have the mental makeup to take a punch and bounce back.
It didn't matter what Chicago did, they knew there was no way in hell they were losing that series. As soon as they realized the Celtics could possibly beat them, they folded.
It's pretty simple.
LeBron will only win when he gets a second fiddle with a killer instinct. Because he ain't got it.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Yeah, I'm sorry too. I really believed they would give it their best and they didn't. It bothered me that everyone gave up on them before it was over but the Cavs gave up so I really can't be mad at them anymore. They definitely gave us the right to feel the way we do.

I would of forgiven all if he had just walked over to the sidelines after the game and punched Jeff Van Gundy square in the face ...

I'm wondering if we are paying for any sins the city might have committed in the first half of century?
It sure seems like that.

Well that's just the thing. They did play apathetically in the Chicago series but they have a history since LeBron has been here of playing over their heads and never giving up. We made it all the way to the finals on nearly sheer will alone in 2007. One series out of many doesn't prove anything. But that definitely changed after the second series in a row.
To see everyone give up on them after that series after playing with incredible heart in the playoffs the past few seasons was maddening as hell. It turned out it was correct, but it was still maddening. Chicago was just an anomaly until now, it just became a trend.

not only did they have no desire or toughness, they played bad basetball. jamison hit 2-10, mo missed all 2nd half, and James never got into a rythym.
they lost becuase they played bad.20+ turnovers, and missed open shots= Mike brown getting fired.
WE need a voice just as strong as James if he stays. Give me Pat Riley.

Mike Brown press conference.
He needs to save himself the firing, and just resign right now, on live TV.

I am on record here that I will not watch anymore NBA if LeBron leaves. I am switching thereon to hockey.
But, I am about """""THIS"""""close to demanding a new coach, even if LeBron is lucky enough to have me as a fan next year.
I don't usually publicly bash leadership, but this guy doesn't have it. Mangini could do a better job.

They don't just need a new coach.
LeBron needs a legit second fiddle ... borderline All-Star ... preferably someone who can play in the post with their back to the basket.

But this is the first year I have felt even remotely like they lost because they quit.. every previous year they either just ran into a team that was better than them (Celtics, Spurs) or they ran into a buzz saw in a really bad match-up (Magic).. but NEVER did I think they quit. I thought they didn't play well, I thought Mo played bad last year.. but nobody quit. This is a first for me.
