I have a Witness shirt that is orange with blue letters that I got from Cavs game last year. It's same exact colors as Knicks, which are same as 80's/early 90's Cavs colors. It has the old Mark Price era Cavs logo with the ball in the V on the back.

Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

I still think Lebron and his crew are working out something huge and that is why all this is being dragged out.

I think he is going to sign with the Browns and play QB

That thought has crossed my mind.

Would probably play out exactly like the commercial, where three people in front cheer, and everyone else is like:

Ahh so it's just a coincedence that Brian Windhorst was really confident about LeBron resigning and now has pulled a 180. Hey you guys doubted me when I said Mo Williams and Mike Brown would cost the cavs against Boston. We all saw what happened

Yeah, Mo won us game 3 and played the hardest of anyone in game 6, while Shaq cost us the entire series against the Celtics. Besides, you think everyone on the Cavs sucks, so it's not hard to point back to a choice-scapegoat and say "I'm right" when we do lose.

Dude ... you are posting a picture from a FORUM of some guy throwing up an orange witness shirt and claiming that some guys in a Nike factory were printing a ton of these. Do you realize how low on the crap-rumor-mongering totem pole that is? I mean even Stephen A. Smith is questioning that "source".

I knew guys like you would still defend Mo Williams. Who else on the team have I questioned that didn't deserve it? I never bashed LeBron yet people jumped all over him. (Good luck trying to prove me wrong because I was banned from the board throughout most of that series)

You're right screw the picture that could have been photo shopped. It's still kind of fishy. Also I was refering to these sources

Wow, you've never bashed Lebron for sucking ... way to go out on a limb there. Pretty much everyone on the board knows you were notorious for jumping on anybody on the team the second we had a bad quarter all season.

Wow, can't imagine how you ever got banned ... stay classy.

Have you been paying attention the last week? People have had a "flavor of the day" every 8 hours. Broussard has been one of the wors offenders. The Knicks just signed Amar'e so naturally they are the flavor of the minute.

Windhorst's post wreaks of sarcasim and him and Adrian Woj are the only two sources who have been somewhat reliable.

All of that is about trying to launch his new marketing company.

Look back across the last few days: Everything has been done via them, they are selling advertisements during the announcement, etc... It's just them launching a startup and getting the company name on the map.

p.s. What does him starting his own marketing company tell you? Not much, except perhaps that he has no need for Madison Avenue

Of course, it could also mean that he wants to take over Madison Avenue

Hopefully it means that he wants to bring Madison Avenue kicking and screaming to the shores of Lake Erie.

ESPN is doing a "breaking news" interview with Chris Broussard right now. - This is so pathetic. They are pushing New York so hard. - The worst part was when they wouldn't shutup about Bosh and Wade in Miami, joined by Lebron being rivaled by a "super-trio" in New York. - Consisting of Carmelo,Amare, and Chris Paul. Then they went back to the possibility of Lebron in New York if he knew that Chris Paul would get traded there.

They went on to say that Lebron could have the go to guy in NY with Amare that he has never had in Cleveland. - No mention of the league's best record over the last two years, or the two consecutive MVP's.

The fact that LBJ is making the announcement on ESPN bothers me. - I hate to write it folks, but I think he's going to NY.

i think if he leaves, it'll be for new york. but there's absolutely no guarantee that they get melo. especially with melo being on a really good team.

it just seems like every time we're feeling good about lbj staying, someone has to bring us down. maybe lbj is putting the doubt out there to make the ratings better for tomorrow night? before windy's tweets last night, i think everyone was saying he was gonna stay, not good enough ratings there. now, there is doubt. i wonder if windy is playing along or if he truly is starting to doubt the guy.

Lebron seems to be a pretty smart guy ..... and if he screwed over NE Ohio like that he has to know that he could probably never go home again.

I could see if the Cavaliers were a struggling and cheap franchise ..... but this team has won more games (regular season) than any other in the NBA over the last 2 years .... and Gilbert has been willing to do and spend anything and everything it takes to try and field a championship team. If Lebron hadn't been injured last season, then who knows what happens with the team we had?

If Lebron does leave, he will be even more reviled than Art Modell ..... even in his home town of Akron. I think he knows that.

Besides .... if he goes to New York, he'd have A'mare and junk. If he goes to Chicago, he'd have zero outside shooters.

Let me just add one more thing. I really don't know if I want Bosh. He seems like a guy who cares more about image and lifestyle than winning. He's a solid offensive player, but has led his team nowhere. I also worry that he's another guy to "clog up" the middle for Lebron.

If we could find a solid SG who can make a 15-20 footer with some consistency, and a ball handling PG, I think that would do this team far more good than a Chris Bosh would. Having to give up Varegao and Hickson n a trade for him would seem a high price .... especially when we would have to figure out what to then do with Jamison.

Every report I have read points to Melo signing the extension, has this changed?

i heard the same thing. i think he stays. why would you leave there? they're a great story.

i think the one thing we have going for us is that bosh isn't the only good player on the planet. we have 3 months to try and swing a deal. i think al jefferson is available. really good big man. if he can stay healthy he is an absolute load down low.

I'm with you on this. Why such a big ado and then say, "I'm staying home" ? I guess the question is this (I'm sorry but I've tuned out this process for awhile now as it was making me ill): Bosh goes to Miami because he didn't want to come to C-town. That would make me lean towards LBJ stays home. My question is AFTER Amaire signing, would the NY Bricks been financially able to sign both Bosh and LBJ too? If the answer is yes, yet Bosh goes to Miami, I think it means LBJ stays home otherwise Bosh would be a Brick.

People are beginning to talk about Carlos Userlooser to the Cavs now. I think I may throw up if that actually happens. Don't care/want him in Cleveland. Be like if Art Modell brought the Browns back to Cleveland after ripping them away from us.

J/C...

I'm done posting on this topic until sometime tomorrow night...too great a chance to say something I'll regret later, so I'll just keep my mouth shut.

I will however say that, no matter how this works out for Cleveland, ESPN needs a solid challenger in the sports media world. They've simply gotten too big and have gotten out of control - it's sad really what that network has become. To me, it started with the Barry Bonds story, then Favre, then Tiger, then Roethlisberger, now their glee and contradictions of the LeBron saga takes the cake.... they are out of control. The way they beat a story to DEATH and make up stuff to cover the stuff they made up before that was proven wrong is maddening.

We'll see what happens, but either way it ends - on Friday morning I'll still be a CAVS fan...not a LeBron fan.

I have mixed feelings about this. Lebron goes to NY with Stoudemire, and I'll probably retire my Ray Allen jersey to the rafters of my basement and pick up my number two team and make them my number one, the Knicks (although they probably won't have my fav. player David Lee). The Knicks are local for me, and I live next to (during the grad school year, in) NYC.

But yeah, for you Clevelanders this would be terrible news. May be your owner shouldn't have criticized James after you lost to the Celtics. That was one of the stupidest things ever. His/the Cleveland franchise will lose millions in value without Lebron. No one will watch the Cavs go below .500 with some second rate FA like Rudy Gay.

But I really don't blame Lebron if he leaves. The Cavs didn't position themselves to give Lebron a chance. The five Celtics starters were better than the Cavs four other starters. Antwoine Jamison? Mo Williams? Neither are top-rate players. Varejao is money, but he's a money role player. What gives Lebron hope that the Cavs are going to bring him a championship in the next couple years, all they can do is re-sign him and continue to play with the the same average lineup. Meanwhile Kobe has Gasol, Bynum, Fisher.

And you guys wonder why I call LeBron a classless punk?

What's he gonna do? Have all the NBA teams hats lined up and put one on, like it's college signing day?

Go to New York, LeBron. They deserve you.

Wait till he quits on a New York team in the middle of the playoffs and he gets treated worse than he could ever imagine.

Bosh and Wade in Miami, Amare and LeBron in New York. God, I hope this happens, and Kobe STILL wins another title.

Sorry, I can't have any respect for a person, as a fan, who can so easily put away one jersey claiming that was his favorite team and put on a different jersey, swapping favorite teams based on the movement of a few free agents.

I am seriously wondering what wil happen tomorrow night in Cleveland. I am landing from a flight back from Minnesota at 9 and am thinking that within the hour riots will break out either way. I can honestly see this happening. I used to think that LeBron was smart and understood his stature and place, but this totally made me rethink my stance. Using ESPN to announce his decision benefits NO ONE but himself and the team he goes to. It positions him as the enemy in every city he let pitch a little woo his way and potentially sets Cleveland up for the biggest public humilitation it has seen in a while.

He needs to realize that whether he goes, he better move all his "team" and family with him, because even in Akron they won't be safe. Could you imagine if Art Modell lived in Youngstown, for instance? Better hire a security detail! There are fans that are that crazy out there. This could be the single most tragic story in Cleveland history.

I love how that Hack Chris Broussard just "breaks" stories until he gets one right. Remember about a month ago when he "broke" the story that LBJ to Chicago was a done deal? What a FAIL.

No they won't. They may have less interest in the Cavs because watching the Cavs without LeBron, at least for a few years, will probably be like watching the Indians... It's hard to get excited about supporting a team through a long season when you KNOW that team isn't going to be very good.. I can state that I will be far less interested in the Cavs but I'm not going to switch to my "second favorite team" because they now have a couple players that will make it interesting....
