"I'm smart enough to order off the dollar menu at McDonalds ..... "

Really?

You can handle reading and ordering from a menu where the price for every item is a dollar?

Wow .... color me impressed. Can rocket science be around the corner?

I want to see the people who failed to make the cut for the commercial because they couldn't handle ordering off of the dollar menu.

Yeah ... that's bad too .... but I don't know what could be worse than to proclaim being capable of ordering off the McDonalds value menu as the height of intellectual accomplishment ........

Go to youtube and search for "John Pinette Lines drive me crazy". I'd post it but there is a swear word or two in there. The McDonalds bit about people getting to the front of the line and and staring at the menu makes me cry of laughter every time.

this reminds me of way back in the day when dane cook was actually funny.

his bit about burger king, and how he had the one girl who'd go to the drive thru, order her food, and go "what do i do?"

you follow the one road that leads to me. lol

The most disturbing commercial to me at this time is the Michael Jordan underwear commercial where he is sitting on a plane and some guy comes up to talk to him about his underwear. It's very creepy.

The Old Spice commercials with the guy who keeps changing outfits/persona is annoying.

So are some of the Axe commercials.

I DVR the Golden Girls (being 100% serious, it's a great show), but the problem is it's always on WEtv or the Hallmark Channel. Those commercials, especially advertising for the Joan/Melissa Rivers shows, make me want to stab out my eyes with a fork.

Nothing can be worse than that ATT 4g commercial with that guy who gets a text message before his friends and lets out that annoying laugh.

The most memorable bad commercials today are any of the commercials with Flo from progressive insurance which totally degrade manhood.

Also any commercial over the last few years in which Peyton Manning had a speaking part.

Yeah ...... "I have a small amount of money coming in each and every month and can't mamage my expenses ..... so let me trade that in for less money up front ..... so I really won't be able to manage my expenses at all ....."

Must be the same people who are impressed with themselves for being able to order off the McDonalds value menu .......

I am not typing at all right since the coffee bypass. Coke Zero, like the Coke one. Wasn't worth the edit.
Seem to be lots of lame commercials.

Absolutely gross, but in a vaguely disturbing and stirring way to some people who though nameless live just this side of Caintuckee. Or it might be a vicious rumor with overtones of truth. Coincidence?

Uloric, the prescription treatment for gout, has a guy walking around with a large glass container of green uric acid. Disgusting and annoying; why didn't he just stay home?

In fact, I'm really tired of all the prescription med commercials. The disclaimer at the end of the commercial is what gets me:
"In rare cases, Celebrex may cause liver damage, kidney failure, aortic aneurysm, brain tumors, and acne. Talk to your doctor about risks invoving this treatment.".
And I wonder, who would take this drug?

One other annoying group of commercials - more on the radio than TV - is for herbal remedies / treatments for such things as enlarged prostate, menopause, fatigue, male sexual "enhancement", etc. They always use the words "all natural", as if that means they couldn't harm you. Nightshade, hemlock, and toadstools are "all natural" too, but you wouldn't want to ingest them. The FDA has no information on the effects of taking mega-doses of herbal remedies, but that doesn't stop these companies from hawking them to gullible consumers.

As bad as these commercials are, they are doing their job. You remember them, and you talk about them.
