Yeah, seems like a total BB guy to me as the Patriots hold intelligence in a much higher regard over athleticism.
How do we know Aldon Smith isn't intelligent? Belichick also values toughness and Smith played on a busted leg all of last year.

Really? And where is Carimi supposed to play? Over 11+mil$ LT Long or 5+mil$ RT Carey?....makes no sense at all
Bingo.
I'm assuming Carey would move over to guard. Pouncey or Ingram would have been the best choice there. Especially when you remember that both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are both likely to be gone.

If anyone is interested in trading up to #25, PM me - Seattle could be interested in trading down up to 10 or 15 spots

If it comes down to it I think Indy goes Solder. And anyone can PM me their board. I'm working on the computer all day so there's no reason I wouldn't be able to check in every now and then.

Yes, Solder looks like a tackle. What I was looking for would be a Center or Guard. I don't think Pouncey will be as good as his brother (doesn't mean he'll be bad). And I don't think Watkins is at that level.
I really just don't know of any RB in this draft who will be anywhere near as good as Mark Ingram for the New York Giants. Good instincts, good power, proven RB. I think I have a better shot of finding any O-Linemen in FA or later in the draft (while still looking for LB, DT, CB, and TE).
I think Ingram is gonna be a stud

I disagree. I like Leshoure in the 2nd much more than Ingram in the 1st. Heck, I like Delone Carter in the 5th better than Ingram in the 1st. You don't draft a RB in the 1st round unless they have 'special' talent and I personally don't see that level in Ingram.

And the Giants have literally no need for a running back. Bradshaw and Jacobs are both under contract and are a very good one-two punch.

Watching them both, I dissagree.
I don't care what statistics say, Brandon Jacobs is definitely on his way down. He's a selfish jerk who really isn't as good as he thinks he is.
Ahmad Bradshaw is a good RB, but not an every down back. He won't last. Mark Ingram is a perfect RB for Ahmad Bradshaw to work off of.
Then they can get rid of Brandon Jacobs who is inconsistent, constantly gets hurt, and whines like a little baby

I think you are correct in that they would like to get rid of Jacobs if they can. However, there are alot of big 1-cut RBs in this draft. I gave 3 examples and the rounds they might be available in.
I think the Giants would be better getting other talent in the 1st (OC, OLB, DT, CB) and focusing on RB later.

as talented as the Giants backfield MAY be... I see Ingram coming in right away and starting...
Some of you listen too much to the draft experts, and don't pay enought attention to tape...

I don't think Ingram is a bad player at all. There are just bigger needs for that team and players whose talents are on par with Ingram (Watkins, Pouncey, Solder, Liuget, Smith) are available and can fill those needs.

I'd like to help....but since I'm coming up, I can't suggest anything. Well, I could suggest taking a punter. Ryan Donahue from Iowa. That's my vote.

I'm coming up too so I shouldn't comment. But... Peyton's a dad to twins now, so I think he might be thinking retirement. I'd go QB here. Mallet would be good I think.

Frenchy went to work but sent me his list. I didn't want to chime in on the Indy selection because option 1 on his list was Sherrod and option 2 was Solder.

I wanted to get ahead of Atlanta who I thought could take Rudolph as an eventual replacement for Tony Gonzalez. ALso, I think the Cardinals are more likely to sign or trade for a veteran QB (Bulger, Palmer, Kolb, Orton etc.) once those types of moves are allowed.
With that the Baltimore Ravens and BradAzz are on the clock....

Seattle traded out of the 25 spot to let a team draft a QB?

I knew who he was going after...though if he wanted Mallet, I'd still have done the deal

Good pickup! Kyle Rudolph is a sleeper on my list.
He was an option for the Giants, but I thought 19 was a little too early. I decided Ingram would be a more impact full player. Although you seem to disagree
