don't receivers do that because they are afraid of the contact?

and obviously i mean outside of plays where you need to jump.

you eliminate any chance for good yards after catch when you do that too.

Fortunately Miamis qb has been equally as bad.

OSU certainly hasn't looked good, but they've settled down on D. Harris being Harris has helped.

If I'm OSU, I don't pass again until Miami can really stop the run.

Joe Bauserman may be honestly one of the worst quarterbacks in OSU history. The only thing he has done right is get that roughing the passer flag.

Florida State WR catches it, gets sandwiched, arms go stiff...

Scary stuff...

Yikes, that's nasty. Hate to see it.

Looks like he moved his hands a little bit on the cart, so hopefully he just got his bell rung.

Man, watching some of these other teams like Miami, Fla. St., and Oklahoma, they have such a ridiculous amount of speed that you just don't see from a team like Ohio St.

Bauserman certainly isn't lighting it up, but Miami's D is playing pretty well against the pass.

they're playing well, but not well enough to hold a team to 1 for 11.

Oh, I agree. I agree with what Blackledge said, you gotta get Miller in there if only because he's also a running threat.

Been quite a few drops too, but it certainly doesn't help the situation when Bauserman's spiral (or lack there of) looks like he kicked it to the receiver.

The 2 QBs being 2-11 for 4 yards and an INT is not terribly inspiring.

Of course, giving up huge runs isn't helping either.

The first run, it really looked like the OSU LB was being ridiculously held.

Other than that, no excuse for letting those long runs go, though the D has played better as the game has gone on.

I like how they keep talking about Bauserman's experience. Yeah, he's older, but how much real game experience does he have?

It just shows how horrible of a quarterback he is. He's that old, that mature, has been around the program and system that long, and couldn't hit a receiver if his life depended on it.

JC . This is pathetic.
Miami is NOT good and it appears OSU is worse.
D looks ok. But also looks a bit slow.
Not used to seeing a Buckeye team look this bad.
Gonna be a long year.
Bellisari ( sp? ) looked better.

Bummer.
But I am not shocked.
I guess after this one not only will OSU fans have to put up with we are cheaters hater trolls which seem to be spilling from every crack on the planet.
And now the Miami faithfull will come out in drove to talk about this years "beat down".
Unless there is a sudden miracle this game is over.

Well, similar to the Browns, wonder how much is on him and how much is on the WRs.

I'll say this, though. Bauserman doesn't really inspire a ton of confidence in me.

I just feel like I did last week against the Bengals

There's a lot of time to catch up and possibly win, but I have no faith that it'll happen (short of a ST TD or a defense TD).

So if Fickell is in "Win Now" mode to try and keep the job...

...Why is he playing Bauserman?

Is he REALLY the best they've got right now?

And if he is...

How good can Braxton be? I get he's inexperienced... But come on...

Holy crap, does Bauserman and the whole passing game look absolutely pa. the. tic.

Bauserman is holding onto the ball like it's his damn binky.

So... When did OSU become "We need a Black Dual Threat QB" offense?

I get they won the "Pryor sweepstakes" many year ago.. But i figured he'd be the last...

Edit: Ball Security... Say it with me...

Saw that fumble coming from a mile away. Miller's gotta be more aware than that.

I forget who the poster was on here who claimed over and over that OSU fans would be upset because Miller was not a good QB.

I think Miller will be ok, but that play was terrible.

Well, OSU's defense played pretty well after their 1st quarter suckitude. But the offense was just putrid. Too bad couldn't just run the whole game because the Bucks' run game was pretty good.

Oh well. Gotta hand it to Miami, they did what they had to do.
