It was in 3 days. So after 3 days, there was still stock left. Maybe it's up to 200,000 right now.

i played it on the pc, and it was real cool...i never finished it, but that is mostly because of time....

i had a blast doing the mage's guild quests, and the thieves guild quests...only did part of the main story...

had to uninstall because of space on my hard drive, but i got my save files....

whats cool is its all live action...so when you shoot a bow, you have to lead a moving target, and your skills improve as you use them....

neat game, and worth the cash...

Let's see what Microsoft's fanboys have ot say about that one.

I'm no fanboy as I don't have any of the consoles... but ponder this for a second:

Quote:

Thanks to plenty of early stock - compared to the Wii and Xbox 360 - most people could walk into a store over the weekend and buy a console without any hassle. In fact, many retailers still have units available and the 165,000 consoles sold only account for a third of the overall UK stock.

If you think about it for a second, this can be taken as an awfully rosy painting of a poor performance.
LOTS of stock sitting on shelves seems to be the unofficial tagline for the PS3.

Just some food for thought.

Just to add another helping. (and if you go back and read my posts you'll know I'm not an Xbox fanboy)

The Wii and 360 sold out.....which means the amount of sales they hit was all they could get durring opening weekend. the Wii and 360 had a world release to ALL area's at the same time so there was supply constraints to different regions. Sony had almost 4 months to get a lot of stock for the PAL region that the UK is in. There is no way of knowing whether the Wii or the 360 could of posted equal or better numbers in the UK if they had the stock to do it. But now that all 3 systems are released to all major regions the PS3 is still behind.

They will stay there untill system sellers like FF and Metal Gear are out and/or there is a price reduction.

Well, what's cool about the PS3 version is that it comes with that Knights expansion included. Gamespots' review of Oblivion was a 9.5. They said you can easily spend 100+ hours playing the game with side quests and all. For me, I considered getting it, but I don't have that kind of time.

It truly is nice to hear input from someone who doesn't own a console but is knowledgable. Because when you own one its kind of hard not to be biased for it.

I was a Sony fanboy for the PS1 & PS2 but switched to the 360. I absolutely hated the original Xbox and their controller.

They made the 360 controller smaller and more fitting and they didnt take any adjustmant period. In fact I think the PS3 controller are too light.

One thing that does suck is the D-Pad on the 360 controller, but its rarely used so its not too big of a deal (except playing street fighter and mortal combat.

The online blows away Sony's and is well worth 50$ for the entire year.

Ive played games for the PS3 that I have on the XBox and i prefer the 360 and glad with the choice I made to switch sides.

Granted the PS3 is just out of the gate and the games might get better, but for now, im thrilled with the choice I made.

And now with the money saved I will be getting a Wii also.

Which really shouldn't suprise anyone since PS3 doesn't have many good games, and none released in February. PS3 won't make a push until next year.

and they are going to have a hard time getting out of this problem. A LOT of game programmers hate how the coding structure is set up for the PS3, and some are even staying away from it all together.

Actually that's an internet Rumor most likley started by Sony haters. There is numerous developers on record that are not Sony exclusives that have said the Sony Dev kit is very easy to use and make games with. The real reason is Sony got thier dev kit out late and there was only a certain amount of dev kits at first. That delayed some of the smaller companies from getting a kit until late last summer. There is numorous games that are coming out later this year and early next.

I hadn't heard that part, thanks for the info.

And not that it really matters i guess, but I am a PS2 guy.
