I agree, my bet is on Tyree to kill the guv.
Somebody said earlier that Andrea would regret not killing the Gov when she had the chance, they sure nailed that.

Yeah, they nailed it, but I think Andrea somehow gets out of the jam she's currently in. Maybe saved by Milton. If not, good riddance. Her character annoys the crap out of me. She's had so many opportunities to do the right thing, and she always wants to do the right thing when it's too late.

Good episode last night.
I think the finale is going to be great. Probably a surprise or two we don't expect.
Can't believe the season is almost over. Now we begin the long wait until the fall.
I'll tell you this. With Netflix and the like there is something to be said for not getting into a show until it has run it's course. Then you get to watch as many episodes as you want without waiting.

Breaking Bad is the one show I like better than Walking Dead. The two are very close and I will be sad to see Breaking Bad go.
Last nights episode was great. Can't wait until the finale next week! I am glad Rick had the sense to not actually give up Michonne and also glad Merle had a "come to Jesus" moment that he should also let her go. Merle is a big loss to the group even if he was unstable - he was very smart as far as tactics go for fighting. The way he lured the Governors men out and began picking them off was great.

Netflix was great for me, I think I watched season 1, 2, 3 in about 2 weeks. Thinking about doing that with Weeds, just haven't started yet.

Yeah, Merle was a big loss.
My prediction though is Tyrese and the woman he is with end up coming over to Rick's side maybe as early as next week's episode during the battle.
Or a very out on a limb prediction, Morgan shows up to help Rick and crew next week.
I just hope Daryl doesn't go Rick-crazy after the Merle thing. I know he loved his brother and I know it's different to actually see him dead or kill him yourself but Merle was missing for a long time and I'm assuming presumed dead. Daryl's reaction is making me fear for his character.
What they did with Rick's character after Lorie died was the most annoying part of this season to me. And actually made me like Season 2 as the best so far.

I think Rick has a plan to suck the governor and all his troops into the prison and trap them somehow, meanwhile everyone in the prison has already left the prison.

I agree. I don't like it at all - if he would have given Michonne up I would have been really upset where they were taking his character.

He seemed like a cool cat. It was interesting to hear how he gets himself prepared for the role.
I thought Michael Rooker was on drugs or something on the Talking Dead. I thought his behavior was odd compared to the others.

DITTO. Whover said they're starting it on Netflix? ENJOY!
Whoever said they're starting Weeds? DON'T! Or at least be prepared for it to start out great and just turn to garbage. One of the few shows I quit watching...
Count me in as PUMPED that Game of Thrones returns Sunday.
And of course the Walking Dead finale. I'm actually hoping the Governor saga extends into the next season....

We watched the first two episodes of Breaking Bad the other night.
So far, decent. I think it takes some of these shows ... even Walking Dead ... a few episodes to lay the foundation and hit their stride. So I thought the first two episodes were a little slow, but I also understand it will pick up. We are interested enough to keep going.
So is the Governor going to make it to next season? I always assumed he was, but maybe he's not.

well, of course! You don't get to die and come back to life and then hang out and talk hunting with Darryl
(and that comment makes me giggle with the thought of Darryl "pinning" him back up with his crossbow, lol!)... and now I'm going to Hell for sure!

I watched the first 2 seasons on Netflix and then have been downloading Season 3 episodes. I'm up through episode 4. I gotta be honest here... It's frustrating to watch. I can't understand how people are so quick to want to kill each other in the middle of the Zombie Apocalypse. Really? Millions of walking zombies who want to eat you but it's more important to "protect your clan" by killing other living people who could possibly be of assistance. Safety in numbers? Every living person they come across, they want to find a way to kill. It really is ridiculous and makes no sense. Someone promise me that cooler heads will prevail starting in episode 5. But with the intro of this "Governor" guy, probably not. Here is a guy who is trying to protect his community. But instead he slaughters a group of soldiers....who could be valuable assets to that protection. The show is obviously more about the living fighting with each other than anything else. The zombies are just a minor side effect, it seems. The show is just about dumb people constantly making dumb decisions. The problem is that this show doesn't do anything well. If it wants to be a show about killing zombies, then focus on that and make it what the show it about. That would be mindless fun. If it wants to be about "personal conflict" then have better story lines with more believable situations. Or...it could be that I just finished watching Breaking Bad before starting the Walking Dead and Breaking Bad is 1000x better all around. Or...maybe the shows are combined - Heisenburg's blue meth actually caused the ZA?

There are zombies everywhere, so it's not like you can go out and work the fields to grow tons of food. The more people you have, the more resources you need. However, if you see someone that has resources, and you don't need them... well, it's really easy to conclude that they don't need their resources as much as you do.
Beyond that, I thought that "the show is just about dumb people constantly making dumb decisions" was the definition of "TV Drama". To emphasize that... Breaking Bad is people making one bad decision after another, then leaping to conclusions to enable them to make more bad decisions.

True... But I can, in a sick sort of way, understand the logic behind the guys on Breaking Bad. There is no logic in Walking Dead. But i'll keep watching it

Why watch if you hate it so much? I don't understand why you put yourself through it. There are plenty of shows that I use to watch, that I stopped because they became bad (Community). There are plenty of people on this board that like Walking Dead. Then you come in here and start trashing it, but you still watch. I never understand that.
I had a friend who went to see the Star Trek movie when it came out, and the first thing he did was go online and start trashing it. He picked it apart for everything he could find. Then he went back and saw it 3 more times. I put the same question to you that I did to him, Why watch it if it's so bad?

This part I agree with and find it frustrating as well. But I'm not sure they would be able to manufacture enough drama if they didn't take it in this direction.
And if you are expecting cooler heads to prevail beginning in episode 5, might as well stop watching.
How's this for not making any sense? How do they become zombies at all? The zombies eviscerate everything they get their hands on. There's nothing left. Did a big plague come through and just wipe everybody out? Is that how it started? Because the only way you become a zombie in the current world is if you don't die at the hand of zombies.
To me, even with some of the non-sensical things, I love the show. I really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 much better than this current season. They were slower, but it really focused on how the characters were adapting to this world. I just think they didn't know where to take things after season 2 and needed to amp up the drama.
But I'm hooked. My favorite show on TV. I try not to think too much about it and just look to be entertained. I am usually on the edge of my seat wondering what character we will be saying good-bye to each week. It certainly has that element of surprise.

Everyone is infected with the virus that makes you become a zombie upon your death . You don't have to be bitten to turn just have to die . Thats what happened to Shane .

It's a classic zombie story line. If you get a large group of people together eventually someone get's bit or turns into a zombie, who then turns others, who then turns others and so on. 28 Weeks Later showed this when they returned to England and had a "Quarantined" zone with lots of people. Which is why staying in large groups is not always a better option. Especially in the WD world where everyone that dies turns into a zombie whether they were bit or not. Some person has a heart attack in there sleep, turns into a zombie and bites a whole house full of people turning them into zombies and so on.
I also think the show is accurately portraying how things would play out, especially here in the US. Look at the Looting, murders and rape stories out of New Orleans during Katrina. Maybe in Japan the whole country would come together and try to maintain civilization but here in the US it would turn into to the old wild west for the most part. Many groups like Militant Groups and Gangs that have the fire power with no Police, FBI or CIA to curtail them??? They would carve out a niche of power somewhere and would have no problem with Murder, Rape or torture now that they would have no threat of prison over their head.
The Governor is a sociopath. I have a feeling Milton was some sort of doctor and treated the Gov. or at least new of his treatments. The Gov. likes his power and bringing in a group of highly trained Military guys would pose a threat to the Gov. remaining in power as some people might naturally gravitate to the trained Professional Military guys over him. So he eliminated the threat before it could happen.

I understand that. Maybe that explains how so many people became zombies to begin with if there was some type of disease or plague that caused most people to die and turn.
What I'm saying is at this point in time if you are killed by a zombie you aren't coming back. There would be nothing left of you.
So how did so many zombies come to be in the first place?

I think you are right on the money, the Gov was just some middle aged man in a dead-end job. He knew he was smarter than everyone else, and he turned this end-o-days situation into a power grab. He killed the army guys because they wouldn't have been loyal to him, they would have been loyal to their CO.
Also, you can see how society just fell apart without the structure, but it also doesn't have the fear. People work because they want to provide for their families, and they fear them being on the streets. People don't murder, rape and steal because the fear the consequences of their actions. In the WD world fear takes a different form. For most of us, survival is not a daily ordeal. We don't live in a world were every person you meet either wants to steal everything you have, or eat you. I think it's an interesting glimpse into society when there are no rules.
