Part of the reason I think bringing in Meyer was a "bad" idea for OSU, you're going to get talents, but get used to Athletes playing/learning to play QB.
I disagree, Meyer made it work in the SEC with my Gators and I think that he was a great Coaching hirer for OSU <(My Second College Love).
I hated to see him leave Florida, but I'm happy that he is with OSU now. He is a good recruiter of talent too. I think that you can win with Athletes @ QB at that level.

OSU isn't going to get the talent an SEC team is going to get. So unless they get the 2nd "Greatest College QB Ever"...

They'll never get the depth, nobody in this region of the country does, but otherwise, Urban is going to recruit 'em up.
The great SEC teams are 2 deep at every position with good talent.

a stud DE would be awesome, but yeah, we could use a great CB, and we probably should have addressed safety when we lost Adams...

Yuck.
I went to the Browns-Rams preseason game a couple years ago where it was a downpour. It was completely miserable. I left at half-time, and only stuck around as long as I did because my clothes were soaked completely through so early on that it didn't really make any difference when I left. I couldn't imagine having to stand down on that field for 3 hours or so just getting dumped on by the elements.

I loved playing in wet weather, muddy and wet even better.
Having said that, it would be miserable to be at the game just watching and not playing.
Statistics are like a bikini; what they show is interesting, but what they hide is vital.
Drive for show (1st round), Putt for dough (rest of draft).

There is a lot to be critical of with Braxton Miller's game, but that dude seems to have the clutch gene in him. Whenever they need a score, he can get it done. He's done it in every game this year except for Miami which was a blowout, the rest were close.
Even last year in the Michigan game he was making plays, they just couldn't stop anyone that day. Almost pulled it off at the end.
That pass he threw to Devin Smith was a beauty, perfect throw at a time when his team really needed it. That touchdown they gave up before that series was deflating, I thought we were done.

In fairness, Geno Smith was a stud before the Baylor game. He did have a lot of wiiiide open guys to throw to this weekend, though. They're at Texas this week, then a couple weeks later have Kansas State and TCU at their place back-to-back. They also have Oklahoma in a home game later this year. It will be interesting to see how WVU does against those defenses, as to this point the toughest D they've faced is DC's Terps.

I don't anticipate that, but it's hard to stay off the Bandwagon with the year Geno Smith is having.
208.4 QB rating is out of this universe. 
I didn't realize that he is as big as he's listed. (6'3" and 225 lbs).
He looks smaller then that, but then I thought RGIII looks smaller then he is. Must be put together pretty tightly lol.
Here's a pretty telling stat I think.
In 2011 Geno Smith was sacked 26 times ... 28 in 2010. He has only taken 3 sacks so far this season ... now granted the season is a long way from over, but I thought that was a note worthy stat.

I didn't realize he was only6'3" lol. He looked like a monster out there vs Baylor. Maybe it's because he seems kind of lurpy out there. He's not the most graceful qb. Looking forward to seeing how he, Steadman, Austin, and Woods do against KSU, Texas, ISU, TCU, and OU.

I'm not a 100% believer in this yet, but grossi's article about some college offenses being more advanced than the nfl, and nfl coaches trying to taste some of these offenses at least raises an eyebrow.
If this were true and college offenses are truly coming to the nfl than I want chip Kelly and Geno smith.
Again I'm not on board with it just yet. RG3 is nice but he's taken quite the beating through just a few games and Cam Newton looks like he's having a sophomore slump.
Houston and Atlanta are the best teams and they're still nfl style ball.

and football (Draft) junkies alike.
K-State's RB John (Little Bigman) Hubert Jr. is someone who has caught my eye this year (not that he was chop liver last year). I get a kick out of defenders trying to tackle him ... 5'7" and 185 lbs. so he has a real low center of gravity (think Daren Sproles or Kendell Hunter). Surprising power for such a little package. K-State needs to get him more involved in their passing game I think. He had 24 receptions last year, but only 7 so far this year. Hubert has 278 career attempts from scrimmage and he has yet to have fumbled the ball.
Hubert has already matched his total TD'd (4) from a year ago.
He did have an off game this year against NTexas (only 12 attempts), but they really didn't need him in that game.
A player to watch ... John Hubert could be a nice little change of pace back at the next level I think.
