I watched a good part of that game, too. YTown was right...........both unis were unbelievably ugly.
Again, I think Mariota is extremely overrated. He doesn't make good and fast reads. His accuracy is questionable when pressured. Pocket presence is poor. I think he should stay in college another year.
Btw-----------did anyone else watch that Fresno St. game? It was on Fox Sports---Channel 219 on Direct TV.

I get your argument that 23 straight is impressive, and would even give you they would have won a bowl game. But I know you are smart enough to know that none of that will matter at 12 o clock noon when this game starts. It is still possible for the one team to overachieve and the Bucks to just assume they can get by on their record. Remember the Buckeye team with Eddie George, some basketball player of a tight end, some great receives, I think Orlando Pace, and "two bookends" at defensive end. And one in the line of super receivers, that came through Ohio State back to back to back. An unstoppable offense, that lost. Couldn't score in crunch time. This is a road conference game against. ( oh I don't know? Has Michigan dominated the conference over the last 20 years?) Yes! Well not so much recently, but as recently as 2000 what yr was it. Michigan beat Florida in a bowl game a year or 2 after or before Ohio State lost to them 41-14 in the NCG.
There are no easy road conference rivalry games. There are no easy wins left on Ohio States schedule, ( and I don't think any of the previous ones were easy "wins" anyways) and Ohio State has barely been in a close game this year.
If you presume Michigan is going to play as pathetic as they have all season long, just look at the Northwestern halftime score vs Ohio State, teams are going to give you their best shot. It is going to take everything you have to beat them. And the Buckeyes Should beat Michigan, decisively, but it's not going to just happen without work, precision, and focus. They aren't going to just forfeit at the sight of the uniform. In front of their own crowd. What better way to beat them than on the last play of the game, as Earl Bruce would say. But I say beat them on every play, from the first to the last.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I get all that. However, I really, really doubt that a team coached by Urban Myer is going to overlook their most hated rival, especially when they have a chance to perhaps play in the National Championship game.
I brought up the 23 straight because I think it offers some proof that Meyer's Ohio State team does NOT overlook anyone, never mind That Team Up North.

Breaking news!! It's being reported that brady hoke will only dress 20 players for todays game.. the rest will have to dress themselves..

Here is my personal favorite–
--One day in an elementary school in Ann Arbor Michigan, a teacher asks her class if the Michigan Wolverines are their favorite football team. The whole class says yes except for Little Jimmy.
The teacher asks, “What’s your favorite football team Jimmy?”
Little Jimmy says, “The Ohio State Buckeyes.”
The teacher asks, “Well, why is that?”
Little Jimmy says, “Well, my dad is a Buckeye fan, my mom is a Buckeye fan, I guess that makes me a Buckeye fan.”
The teacher angered by his reply says, “If your dad was a moron and your mom was an idiot what would that make you?”
Little Jimmy says, “Well, I guess that would make me a Michigan fan.”

So with this Winston case, I noticed the powers that be said it's going to be a couple more weeks before they know if he will be charged. I wonder if these are the same people who told the alleged victim, she should think twice about smearing the name of an FSU player, one would hope not.

I always feel with this game records don't matter.... going into the big house with a possible NC on the line... what more motivation could Meeeeeechigan have?
I think we're going to win, but I'm not saying it's a guarantee..

Yeah I know, that sounds sooooooo shady. Waiting until FSU is or isn't put in the NC game. What a joke. Even with me being a buckeye fan put aside, that's awful. That police dept should be ashamed of themselves.

Can't afford mental mistakes against OSU offense. They kill teams with big plays.

And just like that it's 7-7.

Incredibly porous defense by Ohio State thus far.
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

There shouldn't even be any seventh rounders with the way they're playing.

Just astonishing that Gardner has completed 7 of 8 passes for 200 yards already. Geesh.
Is anyone even attempting to play defense today?

Michigan is averaging 5.6 yards/rush and 25 yards/pass so far.

Hey Buckeyes: Why don't you try to make a tackle and not get in a fights that lead to ejections. Just a thought.

Michigan players started that whole fight. Of course, it's always the retaliation that gets the punishment. There were a group of Michigan players that should have been hauled out of there also.
That said, Michigan is the better team today thus far.

Hall and Wilson threw punches. They mistakenly showed Roby's name later on when they were talking about it.
Wilson and Roby both wear #1 because they're on opposite sides of the ball.

They need to go out there and force a three and out once they come back from half time.
Michigan's throwing haymakers. Need to neutralize them.

No idea how they "confirmed" that fumble. His knee was down well before the fumble.

I think that's the bias talking. You can see the ball start to move somewhat right before or as his knee hits the ground. I'd say it wasn't a fumble though tbh.

It's possible, but I'm sitting in a room full of Buckeyes who all agreed it wasn't a fumble.
