good pick but WHY trade up?

Exactly!! What the hell are they doing? We just traded for a guy who would have been there anyways...F-this

Why are you crying over a 5th rounder? We had a ton of picks this year.

So we passed on Mack and Watkins for Gilbert. Browns continue to turn smiles and lollipops into poop popsicles on draft day.

I agree... I think.

Or why not a QB?

I'm fuming...you don't take a CB when Watkins is there and your offense stinks like ours does. Not happy at all

I love the CB pick ..... and if you look at the Seahawks model, which we seem to be following, they had 3 great cover corners ....... and we now have 2. I am not as enamored with Skrine as some, and I think that he'll be much better in the slot.

Our defense just got a whole lot better.

I don't know that he would be there. There was speculation that MIN would take him, and their defense was terrible.

Plus, they might have had another trade partner going after him. Its only a 5th rounder, we have a ton of picks.

More bonehead crap from Berea. Trade down then trade up and then pass up some of the most dynamic O-players in the draft???? WTF?

Gilberto's not even the best CB in the draft.

nrtu I'll eat a little crow here. We got a choice corner, picked up a second first rounder next year and didn't shoot too fast for a QB. I know we'll play with # 26 - Farmer is making his rep now.

Lions took Ebron.

Goodell needs to get his crap together, because we're starting to get a draft pick traffic jam.

JC.

Way underwhelmed.

Hope they used Hayden as the bottom measuring stick to pick Gilbert.
I sure do not want to see burnt city again this year.
Especially if it happens to be Watkins doing it.

Einstein could not even fathom the mathematical improbabilities of the Browns woes.

That would be fine with me.

Manziel would be a perfect fit for American's Team, who I've been sick of seeing on TV all the time since I was a kid.

Good pick with Barr as a prospect. Better learn something than just an outside speed move though.

And he's got size, a little over 6'. Something Seattle values at CB and Skrine will never be.

It wouldn't surprise me to pop a 4th rounder to move up a few spots from 26 for our QB, if we have to.

QBs are likely to drop from this point. Who takes one until we pick again?

Maybe the Rams? Not too many others. Maybe the 'Boys make a splash with Manziel. Who knows? I think that we'll be able to make a move for our QB when the time is right.

I think I need a barf bag. We had a chance to upgrade our offense and we go after defense. We will once again be scoring 7 to 10 points again this year. Screwed once again.

I bet we trade up again before the end of the night. We will trade our 2nd pick and our first we got from Buffalo to move up. and end up in the early 20's or late teens or the buff pick for Seattle's pick next year and some late picks this year.

Trade the 1st we got from Buffalo to move up?

I will be furious! That could be a top 5 pick. That could be #1. I think Farmer realized that 2015 is a better draft to get our franchise QB. Hold on to that pick and hope Buffalo tanks.

Nooooo! I don't want to pay the price to move that far.

I'm hoping we were going after Lewan. If not, I bet St Louis will gladly take our picks.
