Spirit, I'm a little confused. Do we have the smallest QB in the league now or what?

I hope to God he becomes a football god here in Cleveland.

I would have picked Bridgewater.

This is a Haslam pick, me thinks.

Let's enjoy the hype while it's here.

I'm happier with it at 22 vs 4

on the brighter side of things. 2 first round picks next year if he doesn't work out.

That's hilarious. Sal Paolantonio on ESPN just said that a homeless guy told Haslam to draft Johnny Football, so he did. LOL That's just about what I thought.

I hope that he becomes a great QB here in Cleveland.

There are reports that we wanted the receiver the Saints took, so Manziel was next on our board, and we went to get him.

An Auburn DE comes off next, and the air goes out of the building. LOL Not as exciting a player as Manziel, that's fot sure.

Yes we do. We now have the smallest QB in the league. 5'11 and just a HAIR over 200 lbs. And with his stature he can't add much weight. So that's his size give or take a few lbs for his career. Facing the Steelers and Ravens twice a year. I hope I'm wrong. I hope he's this great QB all these talking heads insist he is. But MAN is he tiny. The woman interviewing him on the red carper was bigger. Not just taller but BIGGER. We shall see.

This will be the day that we remember that changed the organization folks. They may hold him back for a year to develop but this is going to be the guy. Finally, we re going to have a true gamechanger at QB.

Hoyer will start and Manziel will learn from him. He will have a big time playbook and the need to catch up to the speed of the nfl. Hopefully shanahan and Hoyer can bring him along correctly. Damn, I rather like our first two picks. I didn't want the others except for Garapallo

That's what i'm thinking, it was a risk but with a really good backup plan.

We're trying to throw the ball downfield and he checked the ball down to Trent Richardson and the Indians on the choice.

Haslam is a businessman, first and foremost, I think this is his pick. He knew Johnny would fill seats and all of us into football would be watching.

Browns are reportedly working on a trade to get back into the 1st again. (maybe with Seattle?)

The Powers that be can redeem themselves with me by taking Carlos Hyde.

No RBs should be taken until middle of the 2nd. And not by us at all.

Love seeing some Bengal fans upset because they wanted Manziel. Realizing Dalton just ain't it.

I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Sure lets let Hoyer play this year. And if we go 9-7 or 10-6 then what? I get to hear next year how Hoyer "earned" the starting position and Johnny will just sit there, right?
Because we sure as hell don't need players to actually take the field. Having a QB sit on the bench will gets us more wins.....

NO. You draft a high profile player like JFF he STARTS. You live with the growing pains and hope he learns the West Coast QUICKLY, If he's such a great QB he shouldn't have any problems. JFF better PRAY Gordon stays healthy and doesn't do something stupid. And he better pray they get another RB.

Browns probably are working on giving away our two first round picks next year to get back in the first round this year. They need a do-over in my humble opinion.

Mark this on your calendar. The day I said Johnny Bust Football. He'll never make it. He'll never last.

Maybe another CB, given the way they are coming off the board. WR could be a target though. Maybe Lee or Benjamin to go with Gordon?
