So you want to sign Hoyer to starter money and anoint him the franchise QB for the next 5 years? Wow. 12 touchdowns, `13 interceptions and he's a franchise player.... Alrighty then. No, I want to sign Hoyer for a REASONABLE amount to help transition the Browns as Shaw (or whoever) develops. Bring in a quality backup (if you don't think Shaw is ready yet). Tell Hoyer it's his job. Period. I want to see what this guy can do with Mack anchoring this line for a FULL season and our RBs likely not hitting a wall after 10-12 games. Bring in some help to get pressure on the passer. Manziel should be an after thought at this point. Get what you can for Gordon. Have Gilbert return kicks and work as a nickel. Get OL depth where you can. We need a couple play makers at WR. Draft, FA, I don't care. It is clear that there are guys who will make an effort for Pettine. It is also clear that there are guys that won't. Hopefully Haslam let's Farmer do his job and Farmer sticks to his draft board. BPA is the topic of the day with two first rounders coming up. Depending on how it shakes out, maybe switch to a 4-3. We have to get better at some point, don't we?

I like a guy that has such a weak arm he can't play in the wind... Did you not see the 1st Cincy game? He was knifing it through the wind while Dalton's passes were blowing all over the place. . Yea I saw it. That's why his comments are so lame. .if someone is gonna have an agenda at least make intelligence comments.

Hoyer is not the answer. It is okay to hate on JFF and still realize that Hoyer also sucks. Say what you want about him, but Cutler could make this team 3-4 games better with the right offense.
