That call put the nail in the coffin for the lions, not a fan of either team but I was pulling for the lions. Cowboys and Steelers are the last two teams I ever want to see win a superbowl again, both have the most obnoxious fan base I can't stand listening to them. At least one is gone hopefully the other will be next weekend.

Today was my first day ever cheering on the Cowboys. I never thought it would happen.

There's something I don't like about the Lions. Their defense is dirty. That and maybe I still harbor resentment over when we played them when Eric Mangini was our coach and Stafford threw that hail mary into our endzone and Hank Poteat get called for a Pass Interference. There's more to the story, like the blonde waitress changing the channel mid-play. Anyway, since then, I've hated the Lions.

And then Suh goes and purposely steps on Rogers' leg. I just don't like cheap shots like that. Reminds me of when Kimo Von Ofanhovenhoffen on the Steelers pretty much destroyed a promising Carson Palmer's Career in that Steelers vs Bungles playoff game like 10 years ago or so.

Next week though, things will go back to normal though. Dunno who the Cowgirls are playing, but I don't really care who it is. I will be rooting against them.

I don't think the two things are even comparable..

I went to bed and record the second half of the Cowboys/Lions game... Just watched it. It was a really good game, even though I was rootin' for the Lions.

P.S.

Dallas Cowboys defeat Detroit Lions, but controversial call is talk of game (with Twitter reaction):

http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2015/01/dallas_cowboys_defeat_detroit.html

Reversing that call was crazy. I'd be really mad if I was a Lions fan.

The whole PI/Defensive Holding thing has gotten out of hand.

I hope they take a look at it during the off season.

The Cowboys Lions game was the best of the weekend. I found myself going for the Cowboys, probably because of Romo and Witten.

Now I feel for Lawrence as well, he went from goat to hero in a couple of minutes.

Even if they pick up the flag..

Dez Bryant ran out onto the field, while his team was on defense, and yelled in an officials face..

That's a personal foul.. 15 yards.. First down..

I think Seattle vs Carolina will be more competitive than Dallas vs Green Bay. Rodgers will feast on Dallas next week.

Sometimes I REALLY wonder if games aren't fixed with stuff being let go like that.

The refs would never have picked up the flag if it was the Browns.

I was absolutely disgusted that the referees picked up that pass interference call in the Dallas/Detroit game. I feel like that same play gets called 99 out of 100 times when a defender doesn't get his head around and prevents the receiver from coming back to the ball.

I seriously feel like Buster Skrine had that same penalty called against him 10 different times this year, never once was it picked up...

Dallas gets ratings....

Hahaha, I found myself saying this a lot in the playoffs.

“The Browns would have that called against them every single time”. That was quite possibly the worst penalty sequence I’ve ever seen in the playoffs.

Some comments.

Good lord Cincinnati’s WR’s got ZERO separation all game long. Hard to hang that one on Dalton, those WR’s looked terrible.

Vontae Davis, wow what a player, Colts made a great move, Miami not so much by trading him.

Andrew Luck, yikes, he is the real MVP regardless of who wins it. Did you see that throw, on the run, a defender dragging him down, a tear drop over Moncreifs shoulder….what a throw, what a player, wow.

Mathew Stafford is so un clutch, good lord man, make a play. No touchdowns after the first quarter? Come on man!

Dallas just kept chipping away, dominating time of possession. Detroit’s defense was gassed at the end. Can’t really blame them for the loss, they played well.

Predictions-

New England (in a BLOWOUT)
Seattle
Dallas (This is insanely tough to pick, Rodgers health scares me)
Denver

well, that looked easy

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

People overreact when teams go up by 14-17. With how teams score at ease it's like being down 3-7 points.

Their defense is good. They didn't play well the beginning of the game.

Most statistical measures disagree with you. One game samples are fun!

There is a difference between "this defense is not playing well" and "this defense is not good."

Right, but he is going out on passing plays. I have never seen this. Shane Vereen was ineligible on one play. He's a running back, that's insane!

I gave in and tuned in.

I can't rest until I know Baltimore is eliminated. It's that one day of the year when it's ok to hope the Patriots win.
