Going home 1-1 was what we all would have taken I guess

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Doesn't mean our chances are worse. Let's be real here, the Cavs flat out played better when he went out. I know he's not a great defender to begin with, but the injury was making it worse, especially against a quick guard like Teague.

They'll be alright. They just need a bit more from Shump and Delly, and I think Lebron is going to pick up a lot of the slack too. If they keep defending like they have, they'll win this game.

I see the biased announcing is back. Apparently a two hand shove to the shoulder nowhere near the ball is NOT a flagrant foul.

The 2015 Cavs without Love and Irving are still 10 times better than anything we had before...

Cavs defense is for real. They deserve credit instead of just the national media devaluing their opponent. This is impressive.

That's what I said earlier. The depth, maligned by some, is impressive.

Thompson got jobbed on that block. It was a ompletely clean block.

Yeah, that block was nasty. Atlanta just looks shell shocked right now. I think those Chicago and Boston series have really hardened us as a team. We came to battle and Atlanta is just dazed.

That block by Tristan was so clean even Mr. Clean couldn't touch it.

This is one of the most impressive all around games I have ever seen Lebron play, from a team perspective anyways.

Is anyone else tired of hearing about another Atlanta injury ...... when the Cavaliers are Missing Love and Kyrie, and have Shumpert playing hurt?

Most important thing this point is finishing Atlanta quickly and letting Kyrie heal

I absolutely agree.
Oh, the Hawks had a guy miss part of game 1 and return for game 2, and a different miss part of game 2 ...... how will they ever go on ....? banghead

Yeah, I sort of agree. I feel bad that their guys are getting hurt, but I'm getting tired of the media throwing that out as some sort of excuse. They kept saying the same thing in the Bulls series. Boo hoo, they were down a Pau Gasol ... We're down TWO of our big three among others.

Well what else can you expect from sorry announcers like C. Webb and Marv Albert.

I do still have some respect for Reggie Miller since he was mentioning how Iman was playing hurt and fed off of Kyrie and his injuries.

Barkley said it best. Let Lebron score, you just can't let him get others involved. Popovich let Lebron get his, but he made damn sure Bosh and Wade didn't do anything.

Something that's just been a huge red flag is how slow the Hawks look. It's why they struggled with the Wizards and Nets. Both of those teams were not overly athletic and the Hawks played at their pace.

This isn't even close to the same Hawks team from early in the season. I know we have the best basketball player in the world who happens to be the most physically imposing athlete since prime Shaq, but the Hawks look completely overmatched athletically,

It definitely looks like we are gonna take this series...but the zillion dollar question is this: Will the banged-up Cavs be able to beat the Golden State Warriors (if both go to the finals)?

I don't know squat about Golden State besides what I just googled: They have the best record in the NBA & the Cavs beat them 18 out of 20 times (http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400579146).

So who wins in the finals?

I'll worry about the Warriors when we get there ...... but the encouraging thing is that the Cavaliers are playing such great defense in the playoffs .... #1 in so many categories ..... and, as the axion goes, "defense wins championships".

One other thing that really ticked me off was when one of the talking heads said that the Cavaliers were basically the Lebron and the Knicks at this point.

Really?

I didn't know that the Knicks had anyone even approaching the ability of Mozgov and Thompson.

I get really sick of announcers and "experts" always trying to be clever at Cleveland's expense.

Win a title finally and that goes away. Anything less and Cleveland will still be Cleveland in their eyes.

Congratulations to our 2016 NBA Champion CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!! Greatest comeback in sports history... Hail to the King!

That is probably true .. though I suspect that they will still find a way to talk down about us.

The Hawks are a regular season team with no true star. This was predictable, IMO. They never really had a chance to go all the way. They're only one of the last four due to being the 1 seed.

Playoffs are a whole different ball game. You can completely throw out the regular season head to heads once the playoffs get here. They mean nothing.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
