The Gaines to IR thing didn't even make it past week one to look really stupid.
This is why you don't put your 7th CB on the depth chart on that list. If you wanted to keep Gaines, just put him on the season long IR, he won't see the field anyway. What an incredibly moronic move
I'll argue that the real reason for this whole Gaines/IR fiasco is Farmer's ego and incompetence to build a roster. Because cutting two of his draft picks would have looked bad on his already "spotty" track record Nate Ulrich ‏@NateUlrichABJ 11h11 hours ago #Browns DC Jim O'Neil said if rookie CB Charles Gaines (hammy) was healthy, we'd be scheming stuff for him, I think he's that type of player Apparently O'Neil sees something in him. No, no,no that can't be the reason the Browns want him back this season. Didn't you read anything around here. Farmer is a inbread idiot, a dolt, a imbecile, a moron, a court jester. I bunch of folks who don't watch the games, turn the games off at halftime to do basket weaving, and finish 3 and 10 in their fantasy football leagues arlready told us that

BTW for anybody who has been too lazy to look. Turbin is going to miss 4-6 weeks and the injury happened 2 weeks ago so he will be back in 2-4 weeks.

Scheming like what? A dime corner blitz, oh, I'm impressed, because that's the highest he'd be on the depth chart at CB, 4th...and that in turn would mean that Gilbert and Desir are no 5+6. How likely is that? And 4th CBs see the field like what? 5-10 times a game? 5th CB are inactive or ST guys (that's Bademosi's role). So this means that if Gaines was supposed to play, that Gilbert and Desir would be healthy inactives. That's great too, of course. Just more PR to save face. Nobody needs 7 CBs on the roster. I can see the conversation between Pettine and Farmer: Pettine: Hey Ray, we have to cut one of those corners, 6 are enough Farmer: That's not possible, all those in consideration to be cut were drafted by me, the mastermind. Pettine: Hmm, so this Gaines kid has a hammy. Farmer: Great, problem solved, let's stash him on the 8 week IR for a hammy. O'Neil: No problem, I already had him schemed to line up as a cheerleader

Also, he played FB/RB for a stretch in the past ... maybe we're looking to have him play the Marcel Reese role from the Raiders (Flip's old team obviously)

Is this a Kuharich move, or did Ray call the office from a pay phone? To sign a RB with a high ankle sprain to our 53 man roster? Does anyone actually believe that Farmer won't have some contact with the Browns during his suspension?

It's not just a few fans asking what the hell is going on in Berea...media types who have the job of following and reporting on the Browns wonder what is going on in Berea.
So let's not try to paint those speaking up as if they have no right to question this move. This move was managed by those in charge as poorly as any move I've seen.
Just a note...I watch mike and mike every morning..they did a review of the Jets v Browns game..the Browns were referred to as being "dysfunctional".
I will say, the Browns management seems to work extra hard to maintain the title of "dysfunctional". They create their own problems... Plenty of unanswered questions remain as Cleveland Browns cut short the Terrelle Pryor experiment: Tom Reed By Tom Reed updated September 10, 2015 at 10:30 PM BEREA, Ohio – Terrelle Pryor arrived in Browns' training camp as a curiosity and departed Thursday afternoon as an even bigger one. An organization bereft of many playmakers released the converted quarterback without taking a long look at the 6-foot-5 receiver at his new position. They cut a multi-dimensional athlete who missed a large chunk of the preseason due to a hamstring injury and filled the roster spot with a former Seahawks running back expected to miss at least a few more weeks with a high-ankle sprain. If you follow the logic please enlighten us. There are lots of unanswered questions regarding the Pryor saga the Browns will have to explain starting Friday. After announcing the move, the team chose not to make available coach Mike Pettine or Bill Kuharich, who's serving as general manager during Ray Farmer's four-week, league-imposed absence. Pryor's attempt to make the transition from quarterback was one of the biggest stories of preseason. The club only heightened intrigue by lining him up as a wildcat quarterback and a personal punt protector for Andy Lee in the final exhibition game against the Bears. Pettine acknowledged Pryor's diversity would be something the Jets would have to account for in the run up to Sunday's season opener. Well, that's one less worry for new Jets coach Todd Bowles. That's a minor detail, however, in the overall decision whether to cut or keep the former Ohio State standout. Fair or not, people will speculate about the timing of the transaction as it relates to the start of Farmer's suspension. The general manager is not allowed in the facility or to make any roster decisions during his four-week ban in accordance with NFL rules. So was it Pettine's call to release a player Farmer signed? Since the Text-gate fallout, coach and GM have gone out of their way to say they are -- to use Pettine's words -- "singing from the same hymnal." And to be clear, the signing of Pryor, was mentioned in that very quote highlighting their unity. The "who's in charge here" theory would have zero credence had the Browns released Pryor on Saturday when rosters needed to be trimmed to 53 and Farmer was still on the job. The receiver had missed ample time due to injury and appeared in only one game, earning no targets against the Bears. Players often get released based on the "can't make the club from the tub" axiom. Many would have understood the Browns' thinking. So what's changed in the past five days? Pryor has been practicing. He was on the field Thursday less than an hour after offensive coordinator John DeFilippo told reporters: "I am proud of the way Terrelle has handled things. I still am. He just needs to keep improving on those technique issues. It is a shame he has been out, too, and now 100 percent. It is good to finally see him open up a little bit. He has progressed nicely." In fairness to the Browns, Pettine never said Pryor would be active for Sunday's opener and the club didn't have the luxury of stashing the fourth-year pro on a practice squad. Any compliment the coach paid him always seemed to be couched with the burning need to see Pryor deliver on his potential, "sooner rather than later." "Once you make the 53 (man roster) you have to be a productive member of the team," the coach said Wednesday. "It's hard to just have that be a project for a year." There's also a possibility Pettine and Farmer agreed over the weekend to give the Pryor experiment a few more days before reaching a verdict. Again, the decision to move on from Pryor and acquire Seahawks' Robert Turbin would make more sense if the running back could contribute immediately. Turbin was a waiver claim so it's unclear how many other teams, if any, were interested in the fourth-year player. He's rushed for 928 yards on 231 carries and caught 43 receptions for 427 yards and two touchdowns. How does a decision-making group balance such production versus Pryor's potential? It likely would have taken weeks, maybe longer, to determine if the receiver could make a successful transition. He never stood out in 11-on-11 periods during training camp before his injury. But having invested so much time into Pryor and waiting out his hamstring problems, what were a few more weeks for a team lacking a big, play-making pass catcher? Maybe, there's more to the story we don't know. Maybe, the Browns simply didn't think it was worth the wait. They would have spared themselves some grief, however, by cutting ties last weekend. Pettine will provide answers Friday afternoon. So will the rest of the league in the coming days. Does another team take a flyer on Pryor? He told NEOMG's Mary Kay Cabot the Browns made a "mistake" releasing him. The curiosity surrounding Terrelle Pryor grows even as he's already gone. link

Another story...Cleveland Browns call off Terrelle Pryor 'leap of faith' before season gets off the ground? -- Bud Shaw's Sports Spin September 10, 2015 at 7:21 PM CLEVELAND, Ohio – Remember when Mike Pettine called keeping Terrelle Pryor a "leap of faith"? That was over the weekend. Pettine's leap lasted until Thursday. Not exactly a Knievel. You don't have to believe Pryor will be a great receiver, or even a good one, to believe him when he says of Thursday's departure, "This will be a mistake for them." It already is a mistake. Why sign Pryor as a project, keep him around all training camp, put him on the 53-man roster and then waive him a few days before the opener (even as you're running read-option practice plays for him)? Why do that to bring aboard Robert Turbin, a running back whose recovery from a high ankle sprain in Seattle will keep him sidelined for weeks? Pettine said Pryor would have to prove his productivity "sooner than later." Sunday seemed like a good opportunity. Did the Browns expect it to happen sooner than that? Why sign a project, then get rid of him before you know what you have? On the same day offensive coordinator John DeFilippo shares encouraging words about that very transition, saying Pryor was "progressing nicely?" It's an unfair leap to suggest this is another example of a dysfunctional (Jimmy Haslam hates that word) organization. For all we know Pettine could've talked out this scenario before Ray Farmer went silent (on suspension) for four weeks. But it's certainly a contradictory move. It's a mistake not because we expect Pyror to show up somewhere else as Randy Moss Lite, not this season anyway, probably never. It's a mistake because the Browns haven't found other offensive players capable of worrying defensive coordinators late into the night. How could Pryor not be more valuable than a fourth tight end? Pryor never showed he belonged, of course. But it's a mistake because the Browns still need somebody with Pryor's dynamic upside (and seem morally opposed to drafting that kind of player). When they signed him, I said Pryor was more intriguing than a practical answer at wide receiver. Expecting him to make a speedy transition sells the position short. Wide receivers are underrated tough guys. But that's not where the Browns found Pryor lacking. How could they? He didn't get a ball thrown to him in preseason games, let alone one over the middle. The Browns looked smart in being the first to give Pryor a chance at wide receiver. They look less than that for what happened three days before the regular season opener. Other teams might not have given Pryor the same chance. Of course, many teams still don't have their shingle hanging out: "playmakers wanted." Or at least needed. link

The latest...Terrelle Pryor on Browns waiving him: 'This will be a mistake by them' By Mary Kay Cabot, Northeast Ohio Media Group on September 10, 2015 at 4:46 PM, updated September 11, 2015 at 7:23 AM BEREA, Ohio -- Terrelle Pryor believes the Browns will regret giving up on him before he had a chance to show what he could do as wide receiver. "This will be a mistake by them,'' Pryor told Northeast Ohio Media Group by phone. Pryor was told Thursday after practice that he had been waived to make room for running back Robert Turbin, who reached an injury settlement Wednesday with the Seahawks. Turbin (5-10, 222), who was awarded to the Browns Thursday on waivers, is not expected to be ready to play for at least two to four more weeks because of high ankle sprain. It means the Browns will likely have to bring Shaun Draughn up from the practice squad. The stunning news about Pryor came shortly after he spent the afternoon practicing for Sunday's opener against the Jets in New York in Sunday. But indications are that Pryor might not have been active for the first game, largely because he missed most of the preseason with his strained hamstring. As it was, he was listed fourth on the depth chart behind Brian Hartline, Travis Benjamin and Dwayne Bowe. "Nothing shocks me in this league anymore,'' said Pryor, adding that he's as determined as ever to make a successful transition from NFL quarterback to wideout. No one in the Browns organization was available to comment on Pryor's departure. The move was announced in the second sentence of a press release proclaiming "Browns claim RB Robert Turbin.'' A team spokesman said the decision will be addressed by coach Mike Pettine on Friday, but that nothing out of the ordinary prompted the move. One NFL personnel executive predicted Thursday that Pryor won't get claimed on waivers by tomorrow and several others acknowledged that making the switch is difficult and might take more time. One NFL offensive expert said Pryor should play tight end and has the potential to be like an Antonio Gates or a Tony Gonzalez. If he's not awarded to a team via waivers by tomorrow by 4 p.m, he'll become a free agent and can sign with any team. But some teams wait until after the first week to sign players because their contracts are guaranteed if they're on the roster for the first game. With rosters largely set at this point in the season, it's uncertain if and when Pryor will get picked up. His exit comes after he made the 53-man roster on "a leap of faith'' by coach Mike Pettine, who stressed again on Wednesday that Pryor would have to quickly prove his worth. Because of the hamstring, he missed the first three preseason games and did not have a ball thrown his way in the fourth, the finale Sept. 3 in Chicago. "Terrelle is here because he showed that promise and that potential, but again, I said once you make (the 53-man roster) that you have to be a productive member of the team,'' Pettine said Monday. "It's hard to just have that be a project for a year. We're looking for the returns on that investment to be sooner than later. I think he's shown that he's capable of it, but for him, it's about being consistent, knowing what to do, being available from a physical standpoint and then going out there and executing. He's going to get every opportunity in practice to do that." Offensive coordinator John DeFilippo said Thursday before the move that Pryor was making good progress. "From a coverage standpoint, I think (playing quarterback) has helped him,'' DeFilippo said. "I think he knows what a pre-snap triangle is looking at the linebacker and the safeties and those things. It is not foreign to him when you're talking about Cover 2 and Cover 3. He still is a work in progress in the technique side of things. Like I said my last time up here, I am proud of the way Terrelle has handled things. I still am. "He just needs to keep improving on those technique issues. It is a shame he has been out, too, and not 100 percent. It is good to finally see him open up a little bit. He has progressed nicely." The Browns had also been talking about using Pryor in the Wildcat and on special teams, like they did in Chicago. "You want to experiment with things in the preseason, especially that fourth preseason game,'' said DeFilippo. "I had seen him do it before with success, obviously, and wanted to get him back there.I wanted to show it and see where we were at with Terrelle. I thought he made two good reads." Pettine stressed the impact such trickery can have on an opposing defense, and Jets coach Todd Bowles acknowledged he was preparing for everything. "I put that in the body punch category,'' said Pettine. "You'll never know the effect that you had, but I think we always need to have those types of things. Whether it's a diverse empty backfield package, all of the stuff that can cause issues, whether its Wildcat, some of the unbalanced line, special plays and those types of things that causes wasted time on defense. I think a good offense has those in waiting." Pryor, who was claimed via waivers from the Bengals on June 22, demonstrated soft hands and tremendous upside potential in his first four practices before strained the hamstring Aug. 4. But he was never able to prove he could be successful against an NFL defense, and never had a pass thrown his way in Chicago. Late in preseason, Pettine cautioned that the window was narrowing on his chances, and DeFilippo warned there was a sense of urgency for him. But teammates such as Joe Haden, who worked extra with Pryor before practice, believed he would find work if the Browns let him go. "Oh yeah, for sure,'' Haden said last month. "He's like a guy you could see just in the rotation, you could see something happening with him, so I know another team would be able to see that talent and wouldn't mind picking him up. ...I just can't wait for him to go out there because he looks like Calvin Johnson. If he goes out and can play half like that, he'll be solid.'' Pryor planned to prove the Browns right for believing in him, and now he plans to prove them wrong. link

I keep thinking about this situation, hoping I can see the reasoning behind the roster moves this week. I really don't want to have up fire another GM but the more the head-scratching moves pile up....

I love how all the focus is on dropping Pryor. I get the head scratching on signing Turbin when its going to be a couple weeks before he can play, but maybe they saw something in him that they liked..who knows maybe he ends up doing well for us, nobody knows.
But all this back and forth on Pryor just cracks me up. There is no guarantee he would amount to anything as a WR. Was I hoping he would, hell yes..but the truth is nobody knows. Now what will be funny with everyone moaning about us releasing him is if no other teams snatch him up right away. He is a project at WR at this point, so it will take a team having an open roster slot they can afford to give to a project.

I stopped reading the complaints on the second page, I couldn't endure another 2 pages of it.
Pryor was a QB until a couple of months ago when the team hoped he could contribute as a WR. The transition obviously hadn't gone well and the guy couldn't get on the field during the preseason to show flashes of anything. We don't know if he could run routes, get separation from DBs, catch, or block. When a WR is in the position he was, he needs to prove he's worth keeping around in the preseason and he didn't do that. Everyone who is upset is stuck on the idea that he had potential to be a weapon with no evidence to support it. Like cfrs said, if he was a college QB at Utah who was #7 or #8 on the WR depth chart at this point without playing any significant role in the preseason, nobody would have blinked at this news. But, he's TP from Ohio State, so it's a crime that he was waived in favor of a solid RB who should eventually end up playing a role in this team's offensive successes.
Come on, folks. Some of you are acting like we cut a difference making superstar. Turbin is a solid RB who was probably the best available RB free agent. No, he can't do anything for the team right now while hurt, but the front office is clearly looking past the very short-term and grabbing a guy who can actually make a difference in the not too distant future. I can almost guarantee Pryor would have done nothing for the team for the entire season whereas Turbin will only give us nothing for a few weeks while injured. The advantage certainly goes to Turbin's corner. A backfield of Crowell, Turbin, and Johnson gives me faith in the running game again.

This TEAM CONTINUES TO BE a dumpster fire! Fixed that for ya. Oh well, we weren't going to the playoffs anyway. Let's see how that whole draft thingy works out in 2016. I'm sure Farmer will come up with ANOTHER genius plan. LMAO

{{{SIGH}}} I don't know what the most stupid thing about this picture. 1. That someone bought a jersey of a player who has never played the position in his career. 2. That Pryor then changed his jersey number. 3. That anyone would buy a Browns jersey at all after the history of the team. 4. That anyone would buy such of piece of crap of a jersey. Just look at it. Who designed this garbage? Ridiculous.

Mac...coaches regarding the roster compare roles I think more than Preseason stats.
I do not think for an instant Lenz was cut to keep Pryor. I understand your words and the stats are correct. Just thought maybe the coaching perspective had nothing to do with Preseason Production. I think Bowe, Hartline, Pryor and Mayle were categorized as our big WRs. Hawkins, Gabriel, Benjamin, Lenz and Jennings as the other role of smaller WRs.
Its a matter of getting ON the Field in the projected roles and being utilized in the 53.
Pryor and Bowe was the question for me. Both miss a lot of time due to Camp Injuries. Bowe an experienced Vet and Pryor the transition to a new position player.
The reason I bring this up is looking back to the recent pressers regarding our 53 ROSTER. Whenever Pryor was brought up they said good things about his potential but at the end it was always Clarified by Pettine, He still will have to give us production. I listen to the little things like that.
Now that Pryor has been cut - even though I personally wanted him here for his potential. I can understand the coaches process in this. They just didn't see him getting much production outside of gadget plays and if that is all he does then when he gets on the field the Defenses know....GADGET PLAY!!! With Bowe, Hartline, Hawkins, Gabriel and Benjamin....they determined at this point in his career he won't be used much and would possibly be an automatic INACTIVE Guy.
Also - no special teams activity. Again his injuries prevented him from diversifying.

"Terrelle is here because he showed that promise and that potential, but again, I said once you make (the 53-man roster) that you have to be a productive member of the team,'' Pettine said Monday.
Thanks Mac, that is what I was talking about. Also the depth chart was for the X and Z WRs (outside) and the S WRs were Hawkins and Gabriel.
But we have seen Gabriel and Hawkins out there as well - as Pettine stated depth charts are things they got to put out He was actually #6 on the depth chart of WRs to use for Production. Bowe, Hartline, Benjamin, Hawkins and Gabriel all ahead of him.
jmho - again I wish we had room to carry 7 WRs (moore technically a WR) I think he could have been used for some Inside position throws when we were in the red zone.

Management/Coaches sent mixed messages, talking about Pryor making the roster because he showed promise and potential.
...talking about Pryor getting every opportunity.
...DeFillippo on Thursday...saying was making good progress.
Just a short time after Flips positive comments about Pryor, he's cut.
...cut for a guy who can't even practice, let alone play.
Everyone knows what Farmer and Pettine should have done...they should have cut Pryor when they trimmed the roster to 53.
It's just another Browns screw up...it seems to be the only way this franchise functions...constant turmoil created by their own actions.

How much time do you think was committed to practicing the wildcat, or how do we know they won't just use a different player to run it? I don't know for a fact, but I doubt they spent so much time on it that not having Pryor now would make an impact on Sunday's game.

maybe someone already posted it, but Dustin Fox tweeted something about the players pulling a "Reverse Rudy" on the coaching staff. Basically being very vocal about their displeasure with keeping Pryor. Not sure if it's true obviously.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Before Benjamin got injured in 2013 we were using him in a varied different ways to get him touches.
Also I think I remember Gabriel going into the backfield last year for a change of pace. We have others who can do Wildcat or different plays outside of the norm.

You are correct, it's basically just a read option. I wouldn't be surprised to see Manziel run it, either, if he's healthy enough.

I keep thinking about this situation, hoping I can see the reasoning behind the roster moves this week. I really don't want to have up fire another GM but the more the head-scratching moves pile up.... Wow they put you in charge of firing the GM? At least have the decency to not come on this board and telling us first!

According to the people I've talked to, this back we acquired is actually good. Just under the radar because he was behind beast mode Lynch. They don't think he would have lasted hadn't they quickly made the move.
Idk, but if it's true, sort of helps clear and make sense of the picture. I'd like another solid back as I'm weary of Duke Johnson's ability to stay healthy...

I couldn't help but watch Gronk get "tall, athletic guy" scores last night and think...Isn't this what Pryor could do, regardless of his route running or separation skills? Couldn't he just out-jump anyone in the redzone and catch passes like Gronk did?
That's all I was hoping to see from him.
Oh well, I guess. If there's one consistency with this team, it's constant churn on the bottom of the roster.

He's solid, I liked what I saw from him whenever I watched the Seahawks. He's got good size at 5'11" and about 220 pounds and enough burst to make a difference. He's really good at receiving for a running back. He's not a gamechanger, but a reliable option when healthy. He wouldn't have lasted as a free agent once he became healthy, so the team had to strike early in acquiring him.

Everyone knows what Farmer and Pettine should have done...they should have cut Pryor when they trimmed the roster to 53. lol... Imagine this scenario: they cut Prior and keep Lenz, then cut Lenz, (because he is the dangling fruit, the 53rd man) and bring in Turbin. OH MY GOD! What at travesty that would have been. I imagine the timeline went something like this: Saturday, 9-5: Farmer & his staff (including Pettine) have a discussion about the 53, decide to keep Prior, and discuss the need for a RB. Turbin is possibly discussed as the guy they want, but want to see if he clears waivers. Turbin at this point is a "get" if he clears, and they can reach a deal. Farmer tells Kuharich to hold down the fort, says goodbye to the staff, kisses Pettine on the head and says with a tear in his eye, "I'm gonna miss you, big guy." He walks out the door with his jacket slung casually over his shoulder, dreaming of a frosty pina colada. Wednesday, 9-9: Turbin clears waivers and reverts to Seattles Injured Reserve. Seattle reaches an injury settlement, making Turbin a free agent. Negotiations begin between the Browns FO and Turbin's agent. Thursday, 9-10: A deal is reached, negotiations conclude, Prior is released to make room, and Turbin is signed. The announcement is made. The media and many fans begin their hysterical meltdown. Friday, 9-11: Pettine and his staff continue preparing for the game, not giving a rat's ass about said meltdown. Pettine prepares for a press conference where he will have to answer a bunch of silly questions to calm the fears that the sky is falling in Berea caused by the hysterical masses and media. Or something like that. JMHO

The truth of the matter is we don't know if he even would have panned out as a viable WR. I'll take a known commodity over an unknown project on the roster. Granted I'm not that thrilled that its going to be a couple weeks before Turbin is healthy enough to contribute but I'm not crying over Pryor being released.

I did not like the TP signing from the beginning...
What got me upset wasn't the fact they let him go... to me no loss..
Seeing that Turbin was to be out from a sustained injury did..Yes he may heal just fine... hope he does and contributes.
The first thing that I thought of was last season... How close we were to being a play-off contender.. Then it all went to hell because of an injury.
Injuries hurt us last year... and to hear picking up an injured player kind of brought back those disappointing feelings I had.
Yeah I understand.. it's a crap shoot...it may pan out very well for us and then again... nagging injuries are a big part of a players demise..

Injuries are already a concern for me, shocked at the number of hamstring injuries on this team. Indicates that they weren't in shape when training camp opened.
Pryor? I was rooting for the underdog myself, disappointed that they cut him loose for a guy that can't play for a few weeks at least....we all know how long the dreaded high-ankle sprain can linger, players have lost seasons with it.

How much time do you think was committed to practicing the wildcat, or how do we know they won't just use a different player to run it? I don't know for a fact, but I doubt they spent so much time on it that not having Pryor now would make an impact on Sunday's game. you asked a simple question. i gave a simple answer.
being a browns fan is like taking your dog to vet every week to be put down...

Okay, first I have to say that I can't believe this thread is so long. Okay, maybe I can. Look, I am a HUGE OSU fan! And maybe people won't like exactly the way I look at this, but here goes anyway.
I believe our roster is poor at the bottom. I believe if we have any success this year, it will mainly be predicated on the ability to run the football. I have concerns about Duke's ability to take punishment. So to me RB depth is essential.
I love Pryor's athleticism. The fact he didn't have the opportunity to show potential at WR on the field hampered what might have been promising. However, we nor the coaching staff had a chance to see what he could do on the field. What was Pryor in reality? An experiment.
So the choice was pretty simple. Get a guy who was a highly rated RB in his draft class to help us with depth as the season progressed, or to continue with an experiment that no one had the opportunity to see on the field?
To me, we aren't a team like Denver or Seattle who can afford a roster spot for an experiment. We haven't developed into a team that can choose to simply take a flying leap in faith rather than have someone on our roster that in a short time, will add to depth at a position that will truly be tested as the season progresses.
I'm not thrilled that they chose to sign someone who will take weeks to be healthy, yet at the same time, an experiment compared to a player that could be essential at some point in the season seems quite a reasonable train of thought to follow.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

The Bengals cut him.. and their 3rd WR is Greg Little.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
