"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Coach, with all of the investment in the OL and DL, why do you consistently rush for 2.3 ypc and allow the other team to rush for 4.5 ypc?

Coach, in your introductory press conference you wooed Browns nation by saying you are going be a team that isn't afraid to bloody their nose. Given the evidence, I'd say your team is more likely to say "we'll play until we say ouchie."
Please elaborate.

Coach, why was Jabal Sheard not good enough to "play like a Brown" when he is good enough to "play like a Patriot"?

You up front with that magnificent hair: Indeed you have. We are certainly playing like "Browns". Not one iota of doubt about that....

Jabal was an exceptional player. But too be honest with you, he kinda scared me. And I can't coach a guy who I'm afraid of. NEXT!

Coach, you had zero sacks today. Do you think you have finally hit on the formula for the zero sack season? Might we hope?

Say what you will about Coach Mo, but he don't take no mess from the ladies. Last Christmas party he put a chick in the camel clutch. Needless to say she tapped out pretty quick. Now that you mention it, he may have a few shots too many. . .

Playing like a Brown is getting you guy's all excited about game day, then ripping your hearts out because we can't do any of the things the 31 others teams seem to be able to do. Mainly, running, catching, blocking and tackling.
Next!!

Well Mary Kay, as fine as you are in those yoga pants tonight, I can not confirm or deny, Mr Quinn has been brought in. What I can say is if he is you can find out by checking ESPN, then cut and paste the story on your column like you usually do. Next!!

Hey Coach!
Is there any corollary between last seasons early success when Ray Farmer was texting the sidelines... and this years early season donkey dump when Ray Farmer is not allowed ANY contact with said sideline?

coach why can't our OL effectively run block and why can't our DL effectively run defend? (dating back to 99)

Coach, with Isaiah Crowell carrying the ball 12 times for 20 yards at a stellar 1.7 ypc, is that what you meant by blooding their noses? Also, why does Josh McCown think he is Larry Czonka?

Absolutely. I've always said one man can make a difference. Ray was a huge factor in our success last year. Ray was the reason we kept the 'ol flip phone handy. Little did we know how valuable an ex special teams linebacker would be with our play calling. We are counting down the days till he's back in the box looking down glaring at us. Great question by the way.

Ummmm, why would we do that? Have you ever played football before? I'm not talking flag football or Madden here. These guys are tough, they're huge and fast as hell. Unfortunately this team is the complete opposite of that.

Crow is a gamer. You see 1.7ypc, I see a guy leaving it all out on the field. It took everything he had not to break one wide open. And as far as McCown is concerned, that is one crazy SOB. If there was one guy I'd want besides Coach Moeller to have may back in a bar fight, it's McCown hands down. Allot of you guys are wondering why he didn't slide on that run near the end zone. Well have you ever seen a guy slide in a bar fight?

... wondering why he didn't slide on that run near the end zone. ? Perhaps because it would have been 4th down and 2 yards to go. We likely would have kicked a field goal. McCown decided to go for the end zone...

McCown decided to go for the end zone... We get that... it was the first drive of the game, nothing wrong with kicking a FG... and it was the second time in one drive he tried to get his head taken off. He was playing like he had a death wish....

He played that way in preseason as well. For a sage vet, he wasn't very sage.

Coach, talk about how proud you are that we kicked the longest extra point in NFL history? I mean it takes real skill to get two penalties on an extra point, was that part of the plan to get into the record books?

We looked ready to play in the 1st half and if not for the fumble by Josh things may have been different. What killed this team were the turnovers. The Jets got 21 points off of our turnovers. Without them it may have been different. It took the wind right out of us yesterday. The players were probably saying here we go again. It's hard to change that type of thinking unless you start winning.
