Are you talking about the third down play? If so, there was nowhere to step up.

To me it looked like he could have run up the middle. He was pressured pretty quick, so I may be asking for too much.

I think he would have been close lined if he tried that.

Why in the hell did the team bring Pryor on? Yes we have no playmakers I get it, but Pryor is a waste of a roster spot.

Erving actually pancaked his guy on that play....of course it was meaningless.

I think he would have been close lined if he tried that.

Why? This is better? The front office was a cluster.... that year. I didn't blame Chud for that mess.

I was about to agree, but I think our run D is so bad they'll end up scoring with time on the clock for us to give it back to them after another 3 & out.

What is Kirksey doing? Does he know he's losing by two TDs and they are about to score another one?

O'Neil is not on the field. If coaches had that much impact the players wouldn't make as much money as they do.

And I blame Jim Oneil on Mike Pettine. He hired him. He thought SO much of him in fact that during the off season Pettine stated he had been sitting in with the offense. The D was all good!

It's mostly on O'Neil.

There isn't that much difference between professional players.

What we are seeing is caused by coaches.

Heck, the announcers were even making fun of defensive play calls.

Both are bad. Blaming "75%" on O'Neil is arbitrary and relieves the players of much of the blame. They have been terrible as well.
