schwebel's Hot dog buns, hamburg buns, and bread, .97 cents from Marc's

Sugardale Hot dogs. $1.19 from WalMart

BTW I had a coupons for .40 cents off on the buns and bread.

Total cost $1.76 for 8 hot dogs and 8 buns.

You mean Gary Sanchez, the guy who has been the best catcher in the league since he was called up last year?

He stinks at blocking balls, but he is a pretty good framer and has a rocket arm.

yeah, he'll never be a good blocker of the ball, but his arm is good and he can rake (at least against power pitching)

Best in baseball? lmao...not quite..sorry but blocking balls is part of being a catcher and he was responsible for quite a bit of the success the tribe has had. I can think of quite a few people Id take over him.. Posey, Molina, Lucroy, Perez(salvador) maybe contreras and McCann..just off the top of my head..meant more tongue in cheek in reference to how bad he was last night.

on another note, I think if Urshela could atleast hit .250 or so he could make Kipnis expendable, we'd have a very young infield with jram, lindor and urshela and there would be a vacuum cleaner noise coming from the infield because there wouldnt me much getting out of the infield

glad i'm not the only one who thinks he's not that great defensively

leads the league in passed balls, so i guess he is the best in the league at that

The thing is Sanchez hit 20 homers in only 201 at bats last year.

That's a Ruthian clip. (60 homers for a full season)

But he strikes out 1 out of every 4 at bats.

Yeah he's really tailed off this year. Still on pace for ~ 30 homers though.

I bet he continues a downward trend.

He needed more seasoning. Probably too late now.

Since he has been called up Sanchez leads all catchers in WAR.

He strikes out 23.8% of the time. If he had enough at bats to qualify that would be tied for 33rd in the league. Many good hitters strikeout out a lot nowadays.

Gary Sanchez is 4th in WAR among catchers despite missing 21 games due to injury.

http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?po...=&players=0

He is also 14th best in the league at framing pitches.

http://www.baseballprospectus.com/sortable/index.php?cid=1899425

He is 24 years old.

And this is what I saw from Sanchez in the past two games:

7 At bats
1 Hit
4 Strikeouts

(I saved you some math - 1/7 is a .142 batting average.)
(and 4/7 is a 57% strike-out percentage - for your edification, that's more than half his at bats this series so far)

I'm sure you think he's the greatest catcher since Johnny Bench.

But I hope he keeps sucking against the Indians.

Do you?

not having a full-strength bullpen hurt the Tribe last night. good game to watch though

Oh. OK thanks. You just saved me a lot of time.

I'll allow for a larger sample size on Sanchez this year and get back to you.

Tyler Naquin has been tearing up AAA ball.

He’s currently on a 6 game hitting streak:

20 ABs, 8 Hits, (.400), 7 RBIs

.333 for the year.

I’d watch some Clippers games if I had money to blow on getting MiLB.com.

Probably get in a few Rubber Ducks games too.

Oh, boo woo woo.

Royals drop to 3 games back by losing last night.

Come on Tribe! Put it together.

No mercy.

Us Indians fans have been "nice guy" losers for too long.

I wanna sit with these guys.

Corey Kluber is really a lot of fun to watch pitch. He's probably one of the better pitchers I've seen over the last few years.

Now we need to put up TWO FRICKING runs for him!! \

Come on, boys!!!

Yes. They are!! I love Lindor. He's just a kid playing a game he loves with a bunch of guys he loves.

I know Gomes and Perez don't have great numbers for us, but they both get hits when it really seems to matter.

I like this team. A Lot.

Funny thing is, I had America's Got Talent on cause the wife was in the room, tune in for the 9th Inning (and still had to bounce back and forth), didn't see how Guyer got on base and my first thought was, did he get hit again? grin

They put Guyer in to pinch run for Encarnacion. They wanted to get a little more speed on the bases in case we could get a runner in scoring position.

We were up at the game tonight celebrating my oldest son's 10th b-day with his buddies. Kluber pitched a gem. 11 K's and another CG. Happy to see he got the 'W' after another tremendous performance.

Incredible ending!! Austin Jackson fought back from being down 0-2 and then this....I always love the Indians walk-off set to the Titanic music + Hammy's call. Becoming a classic.

With about 50 games remaining, he'll hopefully have enough time to get well.

Great game though.

I get that Shaw has one job to do and that is to get 3 outs in the 9th inning when needed.. I'm not relieving him (pun intended) of doing his job.. but for God's sake.. last night Kluber 3 hits them and gives up 1 run in the first and it takes a 9th inning, 2 out rally just to win the game.. this game they go into the 9th having given up 1 run and only have a 1 run lead.. how about a little run support for these outstanding pitching performances..
