Has Brantley done anything in the preseason? I sure haven't noticed him.

He's been hurt a lot.
That's not the way to make a team. Who knows? Maybe he winds up on IF, kind of a red shirt season.

Bring him back! One veteran name to watch: #Broncos Pro Bowl S TJ Ward. The team has received calls & had trade conversations about him, I’m told. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/902574916968390656I am mostly joking.

They've been trying to trade Richardson for two years. This makes me think they're asking price is way too high.

Is Aaron Donald considered available? I was listening to NFL Radio yesterday and a caller mentioned the Browns trading for Aaron Donald. He mentioned cap space, ample picks, scheme familiarity with Gregg Williams, as well as the Rams needing quite a bit to improve their team. I hadn't thought of this, but it is definitely something that would intrigue me. It surely intrigued Pat Kirwan. IF the Browns believe Kizer is their guy, they can start to utilize some of the picks they've been accumulating and pairing Donald with Garrett would be a downright nasty proposition. Probably a pipe dream, but with all the ammo the Browns have, you can never say never.

Aaron Donald is probably the best defensive player in the league. He is almost certainly not available. If he was, I would give up a whole lot to get him.

I think the Jets and Bills are 100% copying the Browns approach to rebuilding. Tank, get rid of all high priced vets, collect assets (mainly draft capital), use assets to get better. This FO is so good that they have teams already copying them in only the early parts of their second year. I'm glad Sashi saw what an idiot Farmer was and tried to crash those video sessions. Remember how much uproar there was over that? LOL.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

They can't copy the Browns until they have been called "Harvard boys" 10,000 times with a million "moneyball" references thrown in.

Heck yeah! Everybody wants to be 1-15!
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Jermaine Kearse - WR - Seahawks
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns are interested in Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse.
Per reporter Mary Kay Cabot, the Seahawks would like to trade Kearse before cut-down day on Saturday. Kearse is apparently "just one of a number receivers the Browns are considering." Kearse is a pure role player, but a veteran one. The Browns have essentially zero proven depth behind Kenny Britt, who shouldn't be a team's No. 1 receiver. The Seahawks probably aren't asking for much, and the Browns have a biblical amount of draft picks.

Ward is better than any of the guys we will trotting out at one of our safety positions. I can't believe he's thirty. Time flies.

Ward is vastly overrated. Can't cover his shadow. Poor open field tackler. He is strong and good going downhill. Fans like his "flash" plays, but he is a liability to a defense. Williams seems to like those kinds of stiffs, though.

Is he better than the guys we will be putting out there at SS? I honestly don't know. After the first couple of weeks of him landing in Denver, I heard zip about how he was doing.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

but he is a liability to a defense. He was a starting safety on a Super Bowl winning defense. Now granted not all 11 starters are created equally, but that's pretty damn good. I'll take a flash play once in awhile over no plays. Don't all good players make flash plays? He was also pretty good when he was here. You've said consistently that we are a worse team without a 1 year converted WR with an unknown ceiling, but you've trashed Ward since he left , and we were clearly worse after he was gone. You pick some odd horses to back.

The Seahawks also traded their 2018 second round pick to the Jets and they swapped 7th round picks. That's a pretty steep price for Richardson. I'm surprised the Jets got that much. In other news, the Seahawks defensive line is scary.

Seahawks D is gonna be dominant again.
