Liver did shift right into the teeth of that D, but did you see Telfer? It looked like he was running away from the defender. He disengaged his man and backed right into Crow's lane. Next play he did come all the way across the line and made a tough blitz pickup. But Dang! I don't know why he started every game this year.
no it is not. It is saying we are keeping our offensive and defensive systems in place. it is saying our rookies and 2nd year players will develop and we are adding lots of talent this offseason.
it is saying we have tried firing coaches every 2 years for a decade and it has gotten us nowhere. I am sure no one is satisfied and no one associated with the team thinks it is acceptable.
*I'm disappointed that the Browns joined the Detroit Lions in the 0-16 club. *Mad that the Browns are the ultimate losers and a national joke. *Haslam now known as the most incompetent owner in professional sports. *Haslam's 'money ball' plan was a complete disaster. *Sad that I'm probably more embarrassed about this then Haslam. *Frustrated and angry about having the worst owner in pro sports. *Hoping the Browns are a lot better next season but doubtful.
My post game thoughts. Gregg Williams defense let us down, again. No Ben, Bell, and Brown and we still make Landry look like a very good QB. Once again way too much cusion on the wrs. Poor tackling. Special teams were bad, again. Blocked punt, holding calls, return for td, missed tackles. Since Hue is returning, he needs to think about replacing Tabor and Williams. I though Kiser played his ass off. I know a lot of people on here don't like him but there is no quit in Kiser. I thought Gordon played well as did Higgins and Duke, minus the fumble. Crow was dancing to much, reminded me of Richardson. Coleman was a waste of a 1st round pick. Can't count on him to stay healthy or produce. This was a game we had a good chance to win, kiser made a play to avoid a sack, Coleman drops a pass. Our season in a nut shell. We play like losers. That's a mentality that is hard to break. We need some serious leaders added to this team to change the mentality. That is our major weakness. We have no leaders on this team from owner down to the players.
I just want a winner. We need players who can be part of the solution not part of the problem.
well, the penalties that led to the touchdowns were the back breakers IMO
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
Greg Williams D did shut them out in the 2nd half, he made some good adjustments, too bad the special teams failed by trying to tickle JuJu instead of tackling him.
2nd year in a row that we couldn't beat the Stealers JV squad on the last day of the season, they tried giving us the game but we didn't want it. A better offense and we run away with this game.

Well, you're wrong. You're saying it IS acceptable for a coach to be 0-16 and 0-31 because of the reasons you gave. For that to make sense, we would have had to have the absolute worst roster of talent in NFL history to justify that coaching record. If we didn't have the all time worst roster, "Hue is the historically worst coach in NFL history" would be a correct statement. We've had less talent and gotten more wins since '99. Seeing how he "coached up" the young talent on this team so far, I don't want him anywhere near these high draft picks next year.

My first thought is to call Coleman what he is: another first round draft bust for us. He needs to go. Maybe new scenery might help him. I’d also like to see us pickup another receiver over 6’2”.
Colemen doesn't need to go anywhere. He is not a #1 receiver but he can be good and an asset to the team.
+1 With Coleman, Gordon and Higgins we have a good start at WR now Draft Ridley and get a another WR in FA and we are set. I know some will Question Higgins but after I saw what he could do last Sunday when he finally got targeted I'm sold

Coleman has been disappointing. That doesn't mean he cant improve. It just means he has not performed to his draft status...........just like many of the other guys Sashi drafted.
