Since we'll discuss picks here. I went with Mayfield because I think it's the guy the Jets actually want. They traded up to 3 knowing full-well that Darnold and Rosen had a good chance of going 1-2. I've talked extensively with my buddy who is a big-time Jets fan too, and he wants no part of Rosen's concussion history. I agree Mayfield is their guy, based on what I've read and heard from Jets friends...

with the 4th pick what if we just selected Rosen
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Taking nominations for the 4th pick currently. I nominate Minkah Fitzpatrick. I'd say Chubb, Fitz, Nelson, Ward ... and Josh Allen, just to tick some people off. I think that is a comprehensive list for the #4 pick. No others need be added...

Indy is on the clock.
Guys, try to work out trades before you get to your pick. The several hours are supposed to be there for you get online and make the pick, not for working trades.

Don't the rules say we have 2 hours to work a trade? Not trying to be smart but ... Exactly. Last year people worked out conditional trades before they picked. I've already started talking to people about trades. The 10 hours is just for the people who work 8+ hours a day and can't get to a computer in time. However, the time limit is shortened in future rounds. I do understand that you and the people before you were screwed due to the Browns picks ending at weird times. However, in the future please negotiate trades with the future in mind.

The Colts and Patriots have a trade to announce.
The Patriots trade #23, #31 and #43 to Indy for #6 and #104. The Patriots are on the clock.

This draft would be Indi’s wet dream ...
They’d have the Jills and the fins and the cards to leverage each other against ...

I like the boldness of the move, and based on value of the trade itself I think the Patriots made out.
Doesn't seem like the Patriots (Bill's) way to trade up like that especially considering they traded away Garopollo for only a single 2nd round pick and in this trade spent nearly twice as much to draft his replacement.
But they have a new GM that appears is preparing for the future and not trying to win now.

Yeah, with the mock trade just made, it'd give Indy 6 picks in the first 50 (23, 31, 36, 37, 43, and 49)

JMO, but in real life I feel the Patriots would have to add their 2019 1st round pick to that package.

What a tough choice for the Bears. Nelson or Edmunds; both positions of need and the value is there for either...
