Donny Iris put on the best concert I have ever been to. He opened for Hall and Oates back in 1982, I think it was, at Blossom. His show was full of so much energy that Hall and Oates was a let down by comparison. Oh, and he was actually a 2 hit wonder:
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
Come on Eileen is a classic ... unless your name is Eileen :0
And also reminds me of Tommy Boy
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
Hey Mickey was on our high school warm up track (no idea why) ... I cant hear it without reminiscing haha

His shows on the "King Cool" tour would be socially unacceptable today. lol

That may have been their solo hit but man the rest of that album is amazing. It sounds nothing like No Rain. Good southern sounding 90’s post grunge rock. The album is one of my ‘stranded on an island albums’. I can go back to it over and over and over.
My offering for one a hit wonder is All for You by Sister Hazel. I bought the album after it came out and was happily surprised at the rest of it. All for You becoming one of my least favorite songs on the album.

Man, I haven't listened to that Sister Hazel album in forever. This was another really good song from them.
I got turned on to bands like Sister Hazel, Candlebox, and others at this bar I used to go to ... a long, long time ago. It was just a dive, but the manager/bartender kept a really eclectic mix of old and new on the jukebox, and she sucked at waiting for people to play it. lol

That’s from their first album. Same as No Rain. They only put out two albums, self titled... aka the Bumblebee Girl album, and then Soup. After Shannon Hoon died from an overdose the band released Nico. A collection of unreleased tracks and vocal studio out takes that the band went back and added instruments to. There’s some great stuff on all three of those albums. Some especially heartfelt tracks from someone struggling with his addiction. Songs like Soul One, Mouthful of Cavities, and Soup... I really dug Blind Melon when they were around. Shannon's death sucked.
How about Billy and the Beaters ...... (not Billy Vera alone)

I can't remember if this one has been mentioned or not .....
How about Reunion:

The Bay City Rollers actually spun off a couple of one hit wonders in:
And
Some of their members also joined The Alan Parson's Project.

I really like that entire Blind Melon album too. Some great tracks on it. My faves being 'I Wonder' and 'Sleepyhouse'.
Nice one. Not many will know them, and this is their one hit they left behind, but they do have a couple of fantastic albums ('Triangle' and 'Bradley's Barn') that are absolute gems.

Whenever I hear it, I think of the movie Uncle Buck

When I hear "Beau Brummel", I think of Billy Joel's "It's still rock and roll to me".
