We didn't. Maybe John Dorsey did.

In the end I think it was a pretty good deal. Dorsey was banking on Corbett stepping in and taking control.

Lost that bet.

Vernon has underwhelmed big time ... he overruns stuff constantly and puts us in bad spots

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Nah, Baker Mayfield is just a smug arrogant punk that does nothing but run the hole under his nose but can't back it up.

What your seeing so far this year is the reason I didn't want him in the draft. I was not fooled by the 1 read quick throws we had last year.

Zampese did a good job drawing up an O that could make a one read Qb with limited athletic ability look ok. Kitchens is just now realizing that Mayfield can't really do much more than one read. Mayfield is another Mark Sanchez except he is shorter with a weaker arm.

I know thatg will upset the Baker lovers, but I'll call a spade a spade and Mayfield is a spade.

They are, but I think both just need time and help. Baker needs help from the playcalling, and Kitchens needs help from an OC to implement an actual gameplan.

I really hope don't give up too much for him. He's 31 with health issues. We'd get him for 2 years?

Williams is old and injury prone. He has not practiced since last December.

If we give up a 1st round pick, that might put me over the edge.

A 2-4 team giving up a first round pick for [almost] any player would not be wise.

I’ll believe this trade when Schefter Tweets it. Snyder and Allen are next level petty and I don’t think they’ll give up Trent Williams.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Robinson have experience at both RT and RG? I am pretty sure I remember this.

Does Hubbard have experience at RG? I seem to remember reading another Dawgtalker post that but I don't know if it is true.

If we trade forTrent he moves in at LT. The question is, does Robinson move to RG or does Robinson move to RT and Hubbard to RG? I think I would favor the later.

I'm curious because I don't know. I realize that learning blocking assignments on pulling plays is play specific but aside from that, is there a lot to learn assignment-wise for a LT on passing plays from one team to the next? In other words, assuming he's in playing shape (which is a big ASSumption) how plug and play is a LT from one team to the next?

Hubbard played mostly back up RG for the Steelers and did solid when I think decastro was hurt...I know this because a friend of mine laughed when we handed Hubbard a pretty pricey deal to play RT for us...though he was a utility lineman.

Washington is a complete mess so it’s hard to believe anything. This wouldn’t be the first time Bruce Allen made a move without consulting his colleagues. If I had to guess I’d guess there is nothing to the rumors.

The Rams are not going anywhere w/that OL and the Personnel Packages they run. They had a very good OL, but it has taken a huge hit. Ramsey can't fix that.

Hearing the Williams comp would be like Njoku and a second. I’d trade either him or ward

I really hope we don't trade for Williams. I support Dorsey, but I think that trade would be a mistake. Of course, if we got him for a 3rd round pick or something like that, I would change my tune. I just don't think that would happen, though.

I agree w/those who are against trading for Trent, unless it’d be for like a 3rd rounder or a few mid rounders or something

From what Ruiter has said the deal is basically hung up on dorsey not wanting to give up next years first
