Never heard of that one.

I doubt we'd bring him in; I think we'd already have done it if we were interested.

UFA tender just means they still get a compensatory pick if he leaves. It’s rarely used.

I read up on him and he intrigues me.He was a 2nd round pick who was a backup his 1st year. His 2nd season he had 12.5 sacks. Tore his acl in year 3. He came back and had a bad year when he returned but rebounded last year with 10 sacks. I believe he has played in a 3-4 his whole career except the year after he returned from the acl.

Cause we got Vernon coming back healthy???
We got the Cap Room this year so that is not an issue. We have a major need for Vernon. He is here regardless who we sign. Actually even with Vernon there is a big time need for Clowney still along with Vernon. I see a short term contract for Clowney now that we extended Garrett so that it will be 2 years before we do that 2nd contract of Garrett's.

But I thought we needed Vernon here as a no brainer ergo my HUH???

We can still roll over cap each year, right?

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

My take on the roster? IMO we have as much offensive firepower as any team in the league. If we stay healthy we will be as unstoppable as anyone especially if our HC is as good as some of us think he is. Our D has a lot more talent than last year with our FA signings and draft. IMO they need more time to gel than our O but if our coaching scheme fits our personnel we can have a top 10 D. The talent is there although I feel we need to pick up a vet LB. We have more talent now than when we started the season last year. If our coaches are smart enough to fit our personnel to the right scheme we can be very good.

You might be a bit optimistic, but I do agree the O has a top part of the league potential.

I don't agree with the D. To me the backfield has a lot to prove. It is young and seems injury prone. Our backers seem pretty weak, and other than Myles, our D line is fairly weak.

We have sent a great deal on the O the last few years and haven't done much for the D, especially at backer and and D-line.

My hope is we still look towards FA to pluck another defender or two if it makes sense, and in the next draft, it needs to be slanted towards D-line and backers if at all possible.

I say if at all possible because I always lean towards BPA, but most times you have 2-3 players who are close enough to BPA. That is where you can reach just a bit to fit a good player in to a need. Look at SF. I think their entire d-line are first round picks.

The O has Top 3 potential.
The D, at best, is probably only Top 15-20.

We aren't going to be winning by shutouts.

I think the defense has a ton of variance. Our corners are good and it is a deep group. That is the most important group on defense. If Myles Garrett doesn't go psycho mode and stays healthy our pass rush should be adequate. Karl Joseph, if healthy, should be good as a box safety.

Literally everything else is up in the air.

Corners are good... but fragile, which is why I'm keeping expectations low for them. Also, Greedy needs to show more for the whole unit to be "good".

If you need 30+ mins of good TV. I present Jarvis Landry's 2019 season with targets and catches. Definitely took some time to put this one together, but it was worth it. Landry is a beast.

I like Jarvis’ ability to SNAG the ball. You rarely see him catch with his arms or chest. Remember Quincy Morgan? Haha

Browns Look Ahead: Contracts And Implications for Team's Future
ByJARED MUELLER Apr 30, 1:27 PM

https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-brow...47/#146625547_1

The NFL just completed the 2020 NFL Draft. Due to the pandemic, teams won't get a live look at their players for some time still. The 2020 offseason isn't quite over, with a number of quality names still available as well as the trade market remaining wide open.

The Cleveland Browns have continued their overhaul this offseason bringing in a number of free agents to start and drafting at least two players, Jedrick Wills and Grant Delpit, who should start for the team next year.

The Browns seem under the constant status of chance for the past two decades and, sadly, that state of change has not led to many wins. Maybe it is the change that has caused so many losses.

While the team is getting ready for the 2020 season, in whatever manner it may be, this is also a good time to look farther ahead. It is why 2021 mock drafts often have a very high click rate, we always wonder what is ahead, what is next.

For the Browns, all the years of change have often led the "next" to be a teardown and rebuild but, so far, Andrew Berry has been the opposite of the past. While Berry did jettison a few players and didn't re-sign Joe Schobert, the Browns roster hasn't made a drastic change. Instead, Berry has just added to the foundation that was already present.

He's also added some continuity with picking up the fifth-year options for Myles Garrett and David Njoku which keeps them signed through the 2021 season while also bringing back Rashard Higgins on a one year deal.

While 2020 was the offseason of additions, what could the 2021 offseason look like?

In the first article in this mini-series, we look at what contracts the Browns will have to deal with after the season.

2020 OFFSEASON ADDITIONS
While this offseason added a number of players under long-term contracts, the Browns also added quite a few players that could once again be free agents during the 2021 season. It is possible that the team, and player, will be willing to extend those contracts during the year if everything goes well, but it is also possible that the Browns saw them as stopgap players.

Either way, a few of the offseason additions could be subtractions next year:

Rashard Higgins - Higgins has had a rollercoaster career which included him being waived by the Browns, going unclaimed, and signing to the team's practice squad. He seemingly didn't draw much interest after a terrible 2019 campaign and signed for one year to hope his quality relationship with Baker Mayfield can manifest itself on the field once again and lead to a payday in 2021.

Andrew Billings - The 25-year-old defensive lineman fits the profile of a player the Browns could want to keep around for a while but only signed for a season. While the Browns drafted Jordan Elliott to help on the interior, the team's long-term depth chart could become scarce relatively quickly. Billings could be an extension candidate during the year if he plays well enough.

Kevin Johnson - The former first-round pick has bounced around over the last couple of seasons and found a one year home in Cleveland with many expecting that he could slide in as the team's slot corner. With Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams drafted high, the Browns may not be willing to pay Johnson long-term, even if he has a great year.

Karl Joseph - The 27-year-old is another player, like Billings, that the Browns could want to keep around for a while but he has to prove he can stay healthy. Another former first-round pick, the Browns would have to feel very good to extend him beyond this season but did not draft or sign a young strong safety who could replace him in the future.

B.J. Goodson - A two-down linebacker, Goodson could have the inside track at a starting linebacker job as the Browns waited until late in the third round to add someone to the position. With a few young guys locked in and Goodson's limitations, he seems to fit more as a stopgap measure for the team.

Andrew Sendejo - At 33 years old, Sendejo will compete for a roster spot and bring his physicality to the roster. He is a year to year player at this point and is unlikely to sign long-term with any team.

Jojo Natson - The lightening fast Natson was signed to return kicks primarily but then the Browns drafted Donovan Peoples-Jones who has ability there as well. Natson is a surprising 27 years old and would have to be electric for the team to sign him to a long-term deal.

Donovan Olumba - Based on his years of service, Olumba will be an exclusive rights free agent. The Browns can bring him back if they choose to with little trouble.

UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENTS
Not only do the Browns have quite a few of their 2020 additions becoming free agents but they have a number of their own players that can be free to go to the highest bidder, if not extended during the season:

Olivier Vernon - Vernon's future with the Browns has seemed up in the air all offseason since the team could cut him and save $16 million against the cap. Berry seemed to try to squash that notion after the draft but Vernon is scheduled to be a free agent after the season and has struggled with injuries most of his career. On the wrong side of the 30, Vernon does not seem to be a part of the team's long-term future after the season.

Kareem Hunt - An interesting name on the list is Hunt. He is helpful as a player to spell Nick Chubb but has much more value as a starter somewhere. If he doesn't have any off the field issues his price tag will be huge and he will move on from the Browns. If he struggles off the field, the Browns will probably not want him back. Odds are high that Kareem Hunt is somewhere else in 2021.

Terrance Mitchell - Another player brought in by the previous regime that has seemed to be on the roster bubble, Money Mitch has played well in spurts for the Browns but not enough to keep the team from adding players to his position in the last three offseasons. If he makes it through the season, Mitchell may be off to different pastures in 2021.

Larry Ogunjobi - While Berry has extended or brought back Garrett, Njoku, and Higgins, he also let Schobert walk in free agency. Another player drafted when Berry was around the first time, Ogunjobi, can also hit free agency next year. The big man had flashes of good play followed by going missing on the field. He'll need a big year for the team to consider extending him for the kind of money that young big men get in the NFL.

Kendall Lamm - A swing tackle, Lamm is a backup for the Browns this season and likely doesn't carry enough value for the Browns to bring him back for anything more than a one year contract unless a serious injury takes place.

Others - Taywan Taylor, Eli Ankou, Tae Davis

RESTRICTED FREE AGENTS
Not a ton of huge names in this list but the Browns have a few restricted or exclusive rights free agents that the team will need to make decisions on:

Restricted Free Agents

Garrett Gilbert - Already 30 years old, Gilbert is a restricted free agent due to his limited amount of years in the league. While Case Keenum is Mayfield's primary backup, Gilbert has a comfort level with the starter that could help. With additional roster spaces, the Browns are likely to keep three quarterbacks. Gilbert will fight for that spot and could be back for one more season.

Tavierre Thomas - A name that isn't mentioned much, Thomas is an important part of the Browns special teams and will be a restricted free agent.

Khadarel Hodge - Much like Thomas, Hodge's contributions are on special teams and he played well in his first year in Cleveland.

Dontrell Hilliard - A player who got a lot of hype the last offseason, Hilliard didn't produce much for the Browns in limited opportunities. With Hunt likely gone following the 2020 season, the Browns could keep Hilliard around for one more season to backup Chubb.

Pharaoh Brown - Kevin Stefanski likes tight ends but Brown could be out just based on the numbers game.

Justin Zimmer - At 28, Zimmer seems unlikely a part of the Browns future but anything is possible with a new defense in place.

Exclusive Rights Free Agents

The following players can be brought back cheaply for the Browns if they want them:

Johnny Stanton

Stephen Carlson

J.T. Hassell

Porter Gustin

Daniel Ekuale

Willie Harvey Jr.

Robert Jackson

Robert McCray

Colby Gossett

CONTRACT DECISIONS
While the first few lists have an overwhelming number of players who are expected to produce for the team this season, they are not the only ones who could be let go. The Browns have a couple of contracts where they could move on from the player without a large-cap hit.

This is not to insinuate that they would but only to note the cap savings if they did for players that have the slightest chance of the team moving on from:

Sheldon Richardson - Richardson would be going into the final year of his contract in 2021. Richardson turns 30 during the 2020 season and has taken punishment on the inside of the defensive line for years. If the Browns move on from him, they save $12 million off the cap with only a little over $1.5 million in dead cap hit.

Jarvis Landry - Landry has played well for the Browns but is coming off an injury and going into an offense that uses tight ends to a high level. The team has a lot of money invested in Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. and could decide to move on from one of them after the season. Landry being moved would save the Browns over $11 million in cap space with $3 million in dead cap money.

Chris Hubbard - While Hubbard restructured his contract this offseason, he could still be on the chopping block next year and save the Browns almost $4 million off of the cap in 2021.

David Njoku - While the Browns picked up his fifth-year option, it is important to note that the team can cut him without a salary cap hit as long as he is healthy. His option is only guaranteed for injuries. Based on how Berry has talked about him, this is unlikely but important to note.

Others - Important to note that Myles Garrett, Odell Beckham Jr. and Joel Bitonio have no dead money associated with their contracts. None are likely to be moved but should be noted here.

EXTENSION DISCUSSIONS
Any of the players noted previously could be up for contract extensions, those we believe the Browns will want to keep around for longer have been noted.

The Browns also have a few players whose contracts will be up after the 2021 season and could be in discussions for extensions. Richardson and Njoku are two that were just noted as a part of the contract decisions but both could play well enough in 2020 to instead be discussed for an extension.

Others with contracts coming up to end by the 2022 season and could be up for an extension sooner rather than later:

Myles Garrett - The Browns will likely try to extend Garrett's contract sooner than later to prepare for extensions for Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward. Garrett is seen as a foundational piece for the team's defense and there will likely be extension talks later this offseason.

Nick Chubb - Drafted a year after Garrett, Chubb is set to be a free agent after the 2022 season as well. The Browns will have an interesting decision with him as they've seen very few running backs live up to their second contracts. While Chubb has shown no signs of it being a concern, his knee injury in college could also play a role.

Chad Thomas - The former Hurricane hasn't found his footing in the NFL and is more likely to be gone sooner than later if he can't put it together quickly.

Wyatt Teller - Added last year, Teller is said to have a fan in Browns offensive line coach Bill Callahan. If he can win the starting right guard position, the Browns may look to lock him up to a team-friendly extension during this season.

Jamie Gillan - The Scottish Hammer was undrafted so the Browns control his rights for a little while longer than 2022 but they could try to sew him up as well.

Others - Damion Ratley, DJ Montgomery, D'Ernest Johnson

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT BUT...
The Browns have a solid foundation of young players surrounded by just enough veterans who can still play. Their immediate future looks bright but there are a lot of players whose contracts are coming up sooner than later.

The Browns will have to find a delicate balance of keeping "their" guys while balancing the salary cap and wanting to continue to bring in young talent. Older players are more expensive and tend to get hurt more often. They also are proven in the league.

If nothing changes, the Browns are expected to once again have a ton of salary cap space next season including rolling over a significant amount from this year. While the numbers can be quite large (estimates are around $60 million in space next offseason), the team will have quite a few players coming up on second contracts quickly.

Are the 2020 additions just stopgap measures?

Will young guys, drafted players, and undrafted free agents step up to fill roles in 2021 and beyond?

8
COMMENTS
Who will Berry and company consider a part of the team's long-term core?

Will an extension with Garrett get done quickly and set the tone for Mayfield and Ward?

What do they do with Nick Chubb given the history of the running back spot?

Will 2020 be the last season where the team is big spenders in free agency as they turn to keep their own players?

These are all 2021 questions. How the 2020 season goes could answer most of them easily but they are all something to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

What future contract decision concerns you the most?

Browns Look Ahead: Identifying Needs
ByJARED MUELLER May 1, 11:32 AM

https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-brow...94/#146699494_1

The Cleveland Browns, and all sports fans, are looking ahead to when teams can reconvene on the field. While the NFL's 2020 season still seems up in the air, the Browns have loaded up their roster with players to make a run for the playoffs this season.

Through free agency, a trade, and the NFL Draft, the Browns have added starters all over the field. Both tackles have been replaced on offense as well as a new starting tight end and fullback. The defense has been overhauled, with more additions still possible. Andrew Billings will compete for a starting role on the interior of the defensive line, the linebacking group is in flux and up in the air with BJ Goodson and Jacob Phillips added while the secondary has new starters in Karl Joseph, Grant Delpit and, since nickel is general a starter, Kevin Johnson.

A lot of change.

As we noted in the first of this mini-series called "Browns Look Ahead" change isn't likely to stop this offseason. Most of the defensive players signed this offseason were added on one-year deals and the team has some other free agents after the season and some difficult decisions to make on other contracts.

If you haven't read that piece, click here now before continuing today's article.
HOW GOOD TEAMS DEAL WITH NEEDS
Hitting the fast forward button on the season, before it even starts, we can get a glimpse at what needs the Browns could have in the upcoming offseason. It is important to note that most good teams look ahead a year or two when drafting as a way to have internal options to fill their future needs instead of being forced to sign a free agent or pigeon hole an early pick on a specific position.

Soon, hopefully, the Browns will be in that "good team" category and not living year to year when addressing their roster needs.

Andrew Berry seemed to try to do some of that this year. He added Jordan Elliott, Harrison Bryant, Nick Harris and Donovan Peoples-Jones at positions that are not high needs for this year but could be needed due to injury or as early as the 2021 season. There is no way to know if all or any of these players will play their way into being starter level players as early as the 2021 season but the Browns drafted them to be able to contribute by that point.

PLAYERS LIKELY TO BE OFF THE ROSTER
A quick review of the first part of this series brings us to the difficult prognostication of which significant players on the Browns current roster will be gone at the end of the 2020 season.

So many things can happen but, given the information that we have and the desire to push the conversation forward, here are the players not expected to return next season for the Browns:

Olivier Vernon - A lot of money and a lot of injuries, Vernon still could be on the roster bubble this season if the Browns sign Everson Griffen or Jadeveon Clowney. It is likely both Vernon and the Browns are fine with moving on next year even if he has a good, healthy season.

Kareem Hunt - As noted, if Hunt has a great season he will likely be too pricey for the Browns. If Hunt has issues off the field, he will likely be off the team as well. With Nick Chubb in the fold, Hunt's value to the Browns isn't as high as his salary will likely be.

Rashard Higgins - A difficult one to note but this feels like the last hooray for Higgins with the Browns. If he struggles again, whether due to injury or other reasons, neither side will likely want to continue the relationship. If Higgins has a good season, it will be tough for the Browns to pay him while having two high paid receivers on the roster. The drafting of Peoples-Jones could be related to planning head at the position.

Kendall Lamm - The Browns are unlikely to pay for depth and Lamm is an unrestricted free agent.

Chris Hubbard - Many are surprised he is still on the team but after restructuring his deal, Hubbard provides depth on the offensive line and could compete for the right guard job as well. While he may fit better in the new scheme, his contract will likely lead him to be gone next year.

Andrew Sendejo - A veteran depth piece, the physical Sendejo could be on his last legs in the league. The Browns will like his presence and he can still give them some help but he's unlikely to be a long-term piece.

Terrance Mitchell - Currently slated to be the Browns fourth corner, at best, Mitchell's spot on the roster this year isn't certain much less after he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

B.J. Goodson - While the Browns have an unsettled linebacking group, Goodson will likely fall in the same line as Higgins. If he plays well, probably too expensive. If he doesn't play well, moving on.

Kevin Johnson - The former first-round pick, Johnson also signed for one year this offseason but is unlikely to be long for the team. With Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams, the Browns are unlikely to spend big money on their third corner in the future.

PLAYERS ON THE ROSTER BUBBLE
The previous list isn't set in stone but those players would be more surprising if they returned than not.

This list is a group of players who could have a future with the Browns but that isn't certain so it is important to note them as we look to identify what the team's needs will be in the 2021 offseason:

Sheldon Richardson - Richardson is on a big contract and turns 30 this year. Interior players tend to struggle earlier than others due to the pounding that they are taking. While the Browns seem like they will have plenty of cap space, if they believe they can replace Richardson with either a cheaper player, a younger player on a longer contract or through the draft, they likely will. Elliott's play this year could also impact this decision.

Larry Ogunjobi / Andrew Billings - These two are linked together as they play the same position and both are set to be free agents at the end of the year. This likely is a case of either/or instead of both/and but Ogunjobi could follow Higgins' path and take a one-year prove-it deal. If either play well, an extension during the year is also possible.

Karl Joseph - Expected to be the team's starting strong safety, Joseph has a lot of upside but injuries have been a big concern. If the team feels he is healthy and plays well, an in-season extension should be expected. If he continues to struggle with injuries, the Browns won't be able to plan around him.

Jojo Natson - The return specialist could have competition with Peoples-Jones. On only a one year deal, Natson has to prove he can be a dynamic returner worth more than a 6th round pick.

Others - Just to be complete, David Njoku, Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr will be discussed by fans and media unless they have great seasons. Seems unlikely but we want to be thorough.

NEEDS IDENTIFIED
Putting that all together, and noting that the 2020 season hasn't even started, we identify the Browns needs as such, from most important to least:

Edge Rusher - Myles Garrett and Adrian Clayborn should still be around but the Browns lack a good second defensive end to rush the passer. This could change if the team adds a starter still this offseason but, until that happens, an edge rusher is the Browns top need for 2021 as things stand.

Strong Safety - If Joseph isn't the answer due to health issues, this position is the team's second-biggest need. Joe Woods' system calls for a versatile strong safety who can play in coverage as well as in the box.

Nickel Corner - As noted, Johnson seems unlikely to return and Mitchell will likely be gone as well. Only A.J. Green, added as an undrafted free agent, was added for the long-term corner spot for the Browns. Nickel corners are starters in the NFL now so the third corner is far more important than it ever has been.

Backup Running Back - With Hunt likely out the door and Dontrell Hilliard scheduled to be a restricted free agent, the Browns will need to add someone to back up Chubb. Kevin Stefanski's offense relies on a solid run game to open up the passing game and Chubb can't be run into the ground.

Backup 3-technique DT - This is a high-level need if Richardson is cut but the team will also need to plan ahead as the veteran is highly unlikely to be signed beyond the 2021 season. This is where good teams plan a year ahead. If Richardson is gone, the need is much higher.

Linebacker - While the team may not value the position, they will need to continue to add players to the pile as they look for two starters at the position.

Wide Receiver - While Beckham and Landry are likely to be on the team through the 2021 season, the Browns would be best to prepare for life without one of them or to take some pressure off of them. With Higgins likely gone and Peoples-Jones likely still in development, bringing in another receiver would make sense.

Offensive Line - Teams should always be adding to their offensive line group. While the Browns have added multiple players this offseason, another lineman next offseason, likely through the draft, should not surprise anyone.

WRAPPING UP
The Cleveland Browns are hoping that they are entering an exciting window with their team. They have high-level talent all over their roster with most of it being young and still developing. That doesn't mean the team is perfect and will be able to keep all of their players together.

One new thing for the Browns will be having to move on from talented players while being competitive. In the past, the Browns either let talented players go because they were rebuilding or didn't have talented players to let go.

Thankfully, the team's needs, even as they lose players, will continue to go down if everything goes well.

COMMENTS
Next year, similar to offensive tackle this year, expect a lot of focus on the defensive line - especially edge rushers and 3-technique defensive tackles. After that, the Browns have the ability to fill their needs but those positions of need are not as highly valued of positions. Starting level strong safeties can often be available in free agency or the second or third day of the draft. Nickel corners are often undervalued due to their inability to cover outside most often. Linebackers have "gone out of style" in the NFL.

After that, the Browns have the opportunity to continue to develop the middle and back end of their roster a year or two early as they plan for the future.

While the Browns have a lot of decisions to make, they also have a foundation of young and talented players at important positions. Their needs are still important but, slowly, the number of needs is going down as well as the positional importance of those needs.

Given what we know, what do you think is the Browns biggest need for the 2021 offseason?

If as you say, Stefanski is all he's reported to be, this could be fun. We seem to have the talent on paper.. Bringing it together is where the problem was last year.

Still wanna know how Higgins and Njoku got into the dog house

While former head coach Freddie Kitchens can be blamed for many of the offense’s downfalls in 2019, Higgins’ drop is one of the most glaring. After missing the first four games of the season due to a sprained knee, Kitchens kept Higgins on the inactive list for the Week 5 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Believing that he was fully healthy, the wide receiver spoke out to the media that he should have been active. Kitchens was less than pleased that Higgins stated his opinion to the media and, therefore, the wide receiver was in the head coach’s dog house for the rest of the season. It got even uglier in Week 6 when the wideout refused to go into the game late in the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks.

I love Landry. What a great signing. You can see the dude's fire out there when he's playing.

-Mayfield had some nice throws, but man he had some stinkers too. He was throwing behind Jarvis A LOT. Some of Landry's best catches were because of off throws by Mayfield.
-OBJ is a very willing blocker.
-You can tell when Landry is 'bringing it'. Guy was making catches in that Rams game and was looking to hit DBs.
-Landry has a couple nice little moves that get him at least a couple extra yards after a quick catch.
-I was laughing at that long catch and run in the Ravens game. Landry was stumbling and on the verge of falling for like half the field.
-The shovel pass....
-Landry is such a solid punt returner, but we gotta get him outta there.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Not had time to watch the video ... but this is what sticks in the memory for me when I think of Baker's struggles in 2019:

- Throws behind receivers - so even when they caught the ball we lost out on YAC if the throw was better.
- High throws missing 'very' open guys (for the NFL) and the ball sailing.
- Happy feet and clearing out of pockets when he didn't need to ... 'clean pocket' would be the wrong term, maybe one side was moving in or back but the blockers were still engaged.
- I also saw several of the interceptions that people fixate on were either [a] a catch-able ball tipped by the receiver to the defender [b] late in games, slinging up the ball on a wing and a prayer.

If Baker gets back to 2018 accuracy it will be a major improvement in competitions and YAC.

Not the intention of your post, but I'm still hopeful for Baker. He was very streaky. He had good throws and bad throws... and both of those tended to come in bunches/streaks. To me, that means it's a correctable issue.

This number will keep increasing. It makes sense to be able to bring healthy guys back.

Yeah, I always thought you should be able to have a DL like in the MLB

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

thumbsup I've been saying that for years.

They need to allow a team to "protect" some number of practice squad guys as well.

That's sad, I'm of the feeling the only way these Browns are going to win real tough contests is the Browns' defense over performing.
The offense has top 15 potential at best.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
