The events of four years ago taught me something I'd never thought before.
As Good people on the side of right in Afghanistan are being slaughtered, as the, well what is going on in the airport situation, the evil and the good is plain to see.

It's occurring around the week of August 11, the 4 year anniversary of a dastardly day of evil in Charlottesville Virginia where there was a unite the right rally.

All I learned from the events that followed the Charlottesville, is the left hates white identity with the hatred of a million suns.

Before that day I never would have contemplated that 30 million plus people in the usa could be pulled from their homes and slaughtered like the holocaust of ww2, or like what may be happening in Afghanistan.

The events, the media response, the systems' response, taught me, that the lefts hatred of white identity is so fervently nurtured,
in the name of stopping hatred, that they could eventually reach holocaust proportions, here in the usa.

And in 4 years, there has been nothing, not an iota of evidence, in the popular politically correct culture that the system will accept people of white identity, culture or skin without assigning them the label of Hate like a scarlet letter.

Regardless of your perspective on this - the link and facts and timeline laid out are a great read.

What jumps out to me -

- Using Trumps agreement to somehow alleviate blame on the disastrous exit is 100% fake. Much could have been done differently based on the Taliban not holding up their end of agreements.

- Trump is on record multiple times complaining about the delay in exit ... to have done the exit correctly and evacuate allies before reducing troops to such a low number, would have meant starting the process before Biden took office if May was the date. So - unsurprisingly - just BS from Trump. And he was still at it in July.

- I think the exit was bodged badly - Allies should have been the first to be withdrawn, regardless of how hard that would have been from a bureaucratic perspective.

- The one thing that makes all of this so much worse - Biden's July 8th speech. Basically he told the world what couldn't and wouldn't happen and then in the last few days we've seen all of those things happen. Stupid.

- Trump could and should have pulled us out earlier. Biden did it on the back of Trump's agreement. The decision to leave was 100% right. The execution was bad. Biden's speech just made it look even worse. EDIT - Obama could and should have taken us out also.

Man, that certainly sounds like what a lot of us have been saying.

I will add one final thing. For the most part everyone you call "a leftie" has at least stepped up to the plate and admitted Biden made mistakes in his exit strategy. That's a lot more than any of your Trumpians were willing to do ever since he started running for office.

I'm not a "lefty" and I think Biden shoulders a ton of the blame, but I don't really see what you see on here, as I see a lot of the "lefties" laying blame on Biden.

There seems to be a double-flip on narratives here. A lot on the far right are saying that the left is too obsessed with blaming Trump, which actually is the case sometimes. But now, people on the far right are turning that into "Stop obsessing over Trump!" when legitimate questions or concerns are brought up about potential ripple effects from the last administration. That is always something that can/should be explored, regardless of who the prior president was. I remember in 2017 how many on the right were saying "Wow, Obama really screwed things up!"

Your views tend to be somewhat moderate and are not strictly one sided. In case you missed it, in the eyes of many that makes you a "lefty". I mean after all, Liz Cheney is more conservative than Trump ever was and look what they did to her.
