No, I'm saying that saying "NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY OR HOW YOU SAY IT OR ABOUT WHOM" shows a poor character trait. I also think Biden's character, while better than Trump's by miles, is more of the he's a character than he has character variety.

Yeah, like I said you don't know.

To your knowledge,, has it ever worked? If so, when?

It's not worked that I've seen.

Both sides have noble points- sad we, "the people" can't get better answers--- students owe the debt for their "education", how many are in debt with worthless degrees educators support to fill the seats and make a living. Parents have a responsibility to make sure their "young adults" learn the monetary facts of life- many parents failing. Corporations and their compensation of top leader is WAY out of whack- workers paid peanuts while "the brass" get golden parachutes even for poor performance.....but look at our society, we pay guys tens of millions a season to throw balls--- nutty. I'm for cutting corporate leader salaries drastically, taxing corporations justly, and flat tax for EVERYONE--never happen, sad.

Do you really believe that corporations simply hire more workers they don't need because they got a tax cut? I'm not sure how that can be while we've all watched corporations get big tax breaks over the past decades while downsizing and outsourcing employees.

I'm not really arguing your second paragraph. My point is simply pointing fingers about that and not pointing fingers in both directions seems rather pointless. If we're going to expect accountability in one direction let's expect it from both directions.

Corporations aren't people. Corporations are "economic engines." How well those engines work is indeed debatable. Tax incentives/considerations are generally the reason for forming corporations. Look, I don't really like the way corporations work, but I don't think just increasing their taxes is going to fix our economy. I think it's more likely just going to get corporations to start shipping more than "jobs" overseas.

No, I don't think tax cuts directly hire more workers. They do allow corporations to more easily make investments in capital improvements. Capital improvements can create jobs for more employees. But like in most things there are differences between theory and practice.

Debt forgiveness and taxes are two rather different things. I'm not a fan of government bailouts, either. Those are probably a better parallel than taxes.

You saying I don't know doesn't make it so. I know what you wrote. Anyone that can read can see what you wrote.

Your understanding what I'm saying also appears to be in doubt. Being obtuse must be a requirement for participation in modern political affiliation with the 2 major parties.

You do realize that their profits doing so well is due to them not hiring employees they don't need just because they got huge tax breaks and looking out for their investors first in a totally profit driven world. Which makes both their consumers and employees last on their list of priorities by the vast majority of them.

Let me put it on simpler terms for you..............

The Mafia was a very successful profitable enterprise. They kept their overhead low and their profit margin very high. They may have been the best organization at creating profits this nation had ever seen at that time.

The Mafia was a criminal enterprise that committed despicable crimes and were hunted down by law enforcement as they should have been.

Both of these statements are factual. Nobody has to "pick a side" to see that. They are not mutually exclusive of each other. Hopefully that helps you understand how two opposite sides of a coin work.

Here's another one for you.......

Today a mass murderer was arrested in Toledo Ohio at this home. When questioning a neighbor she said the man was kind and giving to his neighbors and went to church every Sunday.

Are you starting to figure it out yet? Oh and thank so much for your concern over my time management. rofl

You may wish to inform the SCOTUS of that. It seems they are considered people when it suits them yet not people when it doesn't.

I didn't expect it would to you. I gave you an example about the murderer. Often times when people are found to have committed horrendous crimes the people around them would never have expected it from them because they are so nice. Are you going to pretend you've never heard of that now?

To make it even more simple. People can accomplish great things through nefarious methods. You claim I should make everything black and white by either loving everything corporations do or hating everything they do. That's not how the world actually operates.

Are you saying efficiency isn't key to making profits? Are you saying that corporations simply hire people that the demand for their products don't require? Why would they do that? Why would a corporation hire people when the demand for their products doesn't require that? Or are you saying that putting those same tax cuts in the hands of the consumer, which give them the ability to purchase the products a corporation makes isn't the best possible way to increase the demand which creates more jobs?

What is it you're actually trying to say here? Our economy is based on supply and demand. That isn't a mystery. Lining corporate pockets with tax cuts does not create a demand for their products.

I am not saying any of those things, genius.

YOU were the one that said "you do realize that their profits doing so well is due to them not hiring employees don't need."

Not only do you not read articles you post - just the headline - you can't even keep up with what you post yourself.

And, further, ............eh, you're not worth my time. You need a hobby. Try it. Go for a walk, maybe.

I suppose you need an even simpler explanation....... again.

Corporations do everything possible to run as efficiently as possible. Part of that process is making their employees perform on the most efficient manner possible and only hire the minimum a
anount of employees possible to keep up with demand.

Or maybe you missed the part I was addressing that claimed tax cuts to corporations created jobs? Do I need to go back and find that for you too? You do realize that to most people context matters, right?

It's nice to watch you stoop to making up your own story by replacing my words. Is that what they taught you at Trump University?

So using your logic is stooping?

Once again, you missed my point.

Oh, and now you're invoking Trump. Good one. Make my point on partisan stupidity for me some more.

Partisan stupidity would be on one hand admitting one candidate is the better option of the two and then pretending someone else is at fault for saying the same thing.

Just for your own informational advantage and future reference, trump didn't teach at Trump University. Naming a learning institution that he merely put his name on isn't invoking trump. I've decided to use a debating tactic that is synonymous with the "Book of bull" posting style. Maybe when somebody else does it, it may help you see it better.

You've never been somewhere that rationed water?

I assume that's where he started. He was probably complaining about water conservation laws passed by Democrats in California or something.

I won't deny the rambling and weird lather talk. It might not be quite as off the wall as it seems with earlier context, though.

Still not voting for him. Just positing a potential theory in response to your question.

Besides having his mind jump around like a fruit fly does he ever talk policy?

What can he do to help the country? He doesn't know. He just wants to be in power.

His entire act is sooo old. I find him repulsive on every level from personal to being unfit for the office.

He rambles on about things that have to do with nothing. Then he will jump into a different topic all together.

How this guy is the Republican nominee is astounding.

No, I have not.

In my career, I traveled about 70% or the time. Pretty much all the time. I've stayed in Hotels and Motels all over the damn place. One night I'd be in a flea Bag motel, the next night a Hilton. What ever I could find.

Never, not even once did I have anything like he described. NEVER. Keep in mind, I did that for well over 40 years. He's pretty much full of crap.

Where did you do it? East Coast/Midwest? West Coast (especially SW) is different. I.e, Los Angeles has a big water conservation program. They've enacted ordinances that limit the gallons per minute shower heads can operate at and other water related restrictions.

I actually dealt with it overseas. (It may have been a Hilton in Australia... been awhile.) Mainly an issue in more "desert" (or just semi-regular drought) type areas, particularly during dry seasons.

Also been on ships where they decided to shut off the water supply mid shower.

Again not saying Trump made a ton of sense, but that would be my guess as to what he was rambling about.

The fact we have to sit here and guess what these clowns are talking about IN A PREPARED SPEECH has to be a sign that the country is on the decline.

From LA to Maine, to DC to Florida, to Texas and to arizona and Colorado, Illinois, and many others, I think I totaled it up once, the only state in the continental US I haven't been in is Montana and Washington. Haven't been to Alaska or Hawaii either.

I don't believe he was referring to Overseas at all. I also don't think he was discussing ships either.

But hey, maybe he meant he was on an electric boat that sank during a sharknado? The putz is a freaking idiot. All he does is ramble on and on and his followers sit there with Blank stares and worship him. Then they make one excuse for him after the other.
