It's a passing league. The Browns offense is going to be so one dimensional this year
And very predictable. Don't forget Tommy Rees is a 1st yr OC. He's not coming out of the gate
As some established OC guru. There will be growing pains ith his role.
I see this offense have big time scoring issues this year
The defense has stars in Garrett and Ward but that doesn't equate to being a playoff team.

First of all, none of these players will be carrying the offense.

A 17 year veteran QB, along with a 5th year veteran WR, an O-line with 37 years experience between them and a 8 year veteran TE will be carrying the offense. That makes up 8 of the 11 offensive starters, with the other WR starters also veterans, just not quite as stable. The only starting rookie on this offense will be a RB and if they start in (2) TE sets, the rookie might eventually start. But I would honestly think the 12 personnel will be a secondary set, not the primary. At least to begin the season.

As for Defense... again... The clear leader is a premier player and future HOFer in his prime.

Linebackers, except for Schwesinger, are veterans. Jordan Hicks has 131 career starts and Jerome Baker, although inconsistent, has 90 starts of his own... where do you get off calling them un-proven??

They also added Maliek Collins, who might be the bigger acquisition early on along side our rookie #5 overall draft pick.

My biggest question mark on defense is FS... otherwise, I'm pretty excited to see what this side of the ball can do. A lot will depend on the number of 3 and outs that they have to deal with, but if Flacco can sustain drives, even if they don't score 30 points a game, I think they will be dominant once more.

Make no mistake, Kevin Stefanski took this offense back over. It's the offense that Flacco is very familiar with, which is why I am convinced he will be the day 1 starter. Rees is here to learn and maybe eventually take it over, but with the roster on that side of the ball, it's built for Stefanski's system and that is what he is going to be running.

Give us some other sad excuse for why you are miserable. The math just doesn't add up to an obvious bottom of the barrel team. It could be.. but the potential is there for them to be very competitive. IMO, that rests on the QB's shoulders. He just has to be slightly above average for this team to be very competitive. If he's hit the 40 wall and Pickett has to start, no matter if he wins the job or not... then come talk to me about the clouds around our ears, because the sky is probably falling.

I'm not miserable . You guys are trying to paint a picture that I'm miserable, sad
Negative whatever. You couldn't be farther from the truth .
Every day above ground is good . This is nothing more than
A avenue to post opinions about topics .
The absolute truth is that Berry and Stefanski yet again will field
Another year of a non playoff team .
A 3 and 14 team in 2024. And the best additions it can add
On one of the worst offenses from 2024 is a 40 year old statue
And a game manager QB plus a WR that played for 3 teams in one year .
If I had a dime for every time I read how improved and great the Browns
Would be on offense leading to training camp Id be Jeff Bezos rich
The Browns offense will be a exercise in ball control and boredom this year
When Jerry Jeudy is your best WR, that's a issue
Let me know when Berry can actually draft explosive playmakers

I'm not sold on the defense. Outside of MG ,DW who are the stalwarts?
Oh yeah journeyman at LB and banking on a 2nd RD rookie . The loss of JOK is huge . There is zero depth at LB if the starters get hurt.
The secondary is meh. If Ward gets doinked in the head again
He's done. Depth at CB is questionable too. The safeties aren't nothing
To write home about .

Sorry I don't see a team that's going make a jump to 6 or more wins
It will have to play almost a flawless game each week to be competitive
If the offense falls behind 9 points or more , forget about .
And the BTW the schedule is harder this year
