Yes please on Harrison. He has played waaay below his potential.
41 for 608 while only playing 9 games with more than three targets in '25.
Cards were 23rd passing. Harrison with 5 catches in tight windows, ranking 5th in the NFL in those high-leverage situations.
He needs a change of scenery. 6'3" / 220 with world-class speed... sign me up. If the report is true, I'm guessing Berry is trying to gauge the market to buy low on Harrison, like he did with Cooper and Juedy. Here is my issue with Harrison- I grant him the fact he had Kyler Murray at QB early on in his career, but I really didn't see much of a change once Brissett started playing, unlike Trey McBride. I haven't looked at the full comparison and I know there were some games Harrison was out that made McBride look better but, hell, Michael Wilson was the leading WR in yards, TDs, yards per game, YAC, and overall targets. There were reports going into 2025 that Harrison deliberately put on a little extra weight (to be better at ball contesting and leverage) and that might have made him slower....I don't know. He has been VERY disappointing so far. I'd have a hard time arguing with that. The facts are the facts. I think we became pretty spoiled over the last few years and have forgotten that everyone is not a Ja'Marr Chase or Justin Jefferson. Harrison is measured as generational talent because that's what he was drafted as. We tend to forget that most WRs breakout in year three. He has all the tools. If I could grab him with a 2nd round pick I would see that as less risk, and actual higher certainty, than most players available in the draft. Especially when you consider those "sure things" require a 1st round pick, and in most cases, actually have a lower ceiling if outside the top ten. WR feels like one of the positions that takes time to fully adjust to from college. Travis Hunter sucked until he got injured. McMillan was decent but sporadic in production, Egbuka started off strong but faded away like a fart in the wind, Golden didn't do [censored], Higgins was meh, Burden came on at the end of the season. My problem is, out of all of those guys listed, they all looked better than Harrison's rookie year, at least to me. Minus Golden, maybe. That's my concern.... he's in year three and doesn't have much of a resume compared to the ones that came after. I won't even get into the WRs that were drafted after him in 2024. 2nd round is too much for my blood. A 4th with incentives that make it higher based on production in the following year's draft. I agree with you, with the better teams it definitely takes 2-4 years for WRs to show on the stat sheet. But circumstances dictate it as much as talent does. a) They've already made public comments that Travis Hunter will be exclusively on defense, with possibly a couple of special plays on offense. That experiment didn't last long. b) Egbuka came on strong when the Buccs two best WRs went down to injury. His production started to drop week 11. Chris Godwin game back week 11 and Mike Evans came back week 14. The Buccs saw enough that they are letting Evans go in free agency rather than signing him to his final contract to retire a Buccaneer. c) Golden was drafted into a perfect situation, for Green Bay fans anyway. They are loaded with a talented WR room consisting of Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed, all veterans with 3 or more years experience. Doubs is a free agent this year and Watson is a free agent next year. Green Bay just did what good teams do, they reload BEFORE the cupboard is empty. d) Jayden Higgins was drafted to a team with Nico Collins, Christian Kirk and Tank Dell on it... over 550 yds and 6 TDs is pretty damn good e) Luther Burden, again was drafted to a team that had DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, as well as drafting what turned out to be one of the top TEs in the league in Colsten Loveland before him. Still he managed 652 yds and 2 TDs. Harrison actually had 885 yds and 8 TDs his rookie year.. he regressed in 2025 with QB issues, but aside from Tet McMillan, none of them had the rookie year Harrison did. As for Olave, he has been a bright mark on an otherwise meh team since he joined the NFL. I would take either of these veterans for a 2nd round pick. Obviously I would rather make a trade with a 4th, moving up with incentives in 2027, but I don't think either team is going to do that. If you gave a 2nd for one of these two, it would give you more reason to trade down at #6.. probably getting at the very least a second round pick back. More likely, move several spots and get a 2027 first AND another second either this year or next. As for rookies, I think the only one in this draft that isn't going to need that adjustment is Tate. All others will look like #2 or #3 WRs their rookie year I believe. Some will be drafted by teams that they really are #2 or #3 receivers, others will just need that adjustment period to become better players in the NFL. Personally, I think Desmond Boston will also adjust to the NFL faster than the others, but not the same level as Tate. Carnell Tate and Jordyn Tyson are both outside receivers. Makai Lemon is a slot receiver. Many experts believe that if the Browns draft Lemon, then Monken would see Lemon as Zay Flowers that plays the slot in Baltimore. If they really want to overhaul the receiving core in 1 year, they could trade a 2nd round pick for Harrison or Olave for the outside to pair with Jeudy and draft Lemon with the 6th pick or small trade down and draft Lemon getting maybe a 2nd back in return. That would leave Bond as the designated deep threat and demoting Tillman down to the 5 to battle for a roster spot with Gage and a few others.

Are you talking using the #6 on Lemon? He won't be available to us at #24. Lemon is also valuable as a returner. The only thing I will add is, Jerry Jeudy is a very productive slot receiver who gets pushed outside way more than he should have because of need. We didn't have anyone else that they trusted, so he played out of position a lot. This diminished his output in my opinion and if we are really going to revamp the WR room, I think the first thing Monken is going to say is we need to get a true X receiver in here so we can use Jeudy in the slot 75% of the time. Tate can be both X and Slot... which would give you more opportunities to conceal plays and routes. We could utilize a lot more motion as well, imho. I think Lemon is pigeonholed as a slot...But again, he is extremely effective in that role as well as the extra benefit of his return skill set. At the end of the day, I would be good with either. I would also be good with either Tyson or Boston... I just want the best receiver and O-lineman combo they can come up with in this first round.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I was speculating about AR on a post a few days ago. You can get him cheap and maybe TM can do something with him. He does have a lot of upside.

I knew crack was still a problem in this country but I had no idea its use had spread so much over the past year.

I think he might be a great RB if Judkins doesn't make it back.

I think he might be a great RB if Judkins doesn't make it back. By the way it was reported in Cleveland last week that Judkins was out of his boot and has been in Berea rehabbing his leg. Reports are that he is ahead of schedule and should be fully healthy before training camp begins.

I was speculating about AR on a post a few days ago. You can get him cheap and maybe TM can do something with him. He does have a lot of upside. The Browns had 10 draft picks going into today, I believe. After today's trade, that makes 9. Nine is a lot of picks to use in one draft so I wouldn't be surprised if more wheeling and dealing is done to get a player in 2026 or accumulate some in 2027. If it is the former, I wouldn't be opposed to use a late-round pick on Richardson. He has similar physical traits to Jackson and Monken did a lot of great things with that style of QB. Richardson was drafted way too high, was super young, and had very little college starts prior to him being draft. Indy fell in love with the athleticism and body frame. I have no real issue with a low risk draft capital trade for AR....again like a 5th or something like that. If it works, awesome. If not, nothing really lost. We have to find a QB. If people don't think Sanders is the answer and don't want Watson, we need to look at other avenues especially if this draft class is deemed poor. I'm not mad at the idea. Not jonesing for it, either.

The Cowboys have stated they are looking for D help in the draft. If Caleb Downs is still there at #6 do you think they would trade their 2 #1's 12 and 20 for our #6? 3 #1's between 12 and 24 I feel would be really good for us.

It would take more than our #6 probably, but it is doable. We’d probably need to add our 4th this year and 4th next year to close it. I’m good with that to add another first.

Our biggest hurdle to trading down is guessing who the 7th through 12th picks would be. If the Cowboys are convinced, 7-11 aren’t Downs, they will be hesitant to trade.

Could Deshaun Watson win back the Browns QB job?Yahoo Sports host Andrew Siciliano, senior NFL reporter Jori Epstein and senior betting analyst Ben Fawkes discuss the starting quarterback options for Cleveland in 2026 and why its former number one could be back behind center this upcoming season. Check out the full conversation on “Inside Coverage” - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you listen. Video Transcript And Jory is writing on Yahoo! Go check it out, about, well, various quarterback situations, including the one in Cleveland, in which both Todd Monken and Andrew Berry, the coach and GM in Cleveland, had a chance last week to say, "This is Shedeur Sanders' job." Did not, which has been the company line since the season ended, and that is Shedeur or Dylan Gabriel for that matter, or as Jory is writing, Deshaun Watson has a chance to come out and win the job. None of these quarterbacks has done anything, as Monken said, Jory, in the last two years to say, "This has gotta be my job. We're handing it to you." Whoa, what are you hearing? Yeah. One of the many reasons that Todd Monken has the chance to be the absolutely right coach for the Cleveland Browns at this time is because he's not coming in with these preconceived biases, and he went on this lengthy anecdote at the Combine about, "Well, if I had kids come into a class to take the test and I grade them before they test over how they look, who they are, would that be fair?" And that's essentially what he said about all of his position battles and particularly pos- position battle with Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders atop the Cleveland Browns quarterback room. it's easy for all of us to think that Deshaun is not going to be the guy. He hasn't played a full season since 2020. There's the suspension over sexual misconduct and allegations of harassment. There were quite a few injuries in the recent seasons. But the reality is he did get far enough along in his rotation last season, as you know better than we do, Andrew, to enter that 21-day practice window. And from what I was hearing at the Combine, there were people who were turning some heads during that 21-day practice window being like, "Maybe this guy can still play. Maybe he's got it back." And I think when you look at what Deshaun Watson has done, he's always been a very good practice player when healthy. And so if you're saying this is a guy who is a really natural thrower of the ball, who understands offenses and defenses at a higher level than the younger guys coming in, even if Dylan Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders are excellent at what they do from a mental standpoint, they're still coming off their rookie year, and Deshaun's been in the league much longer than they have. And when I went to training camp last year, I guess it was mini camp that I went to, and I said, "Hey, Shedeur, did Joe help you with this, or did Kenny help you with that?" And he was like, "No, it was Deshaun who told me this tip for the red zone." So he was kind of advising them on this. And when you hear Todd Monken say that ideally they would have a QB one generally in place by training camp, that's when it gets really interesting because from a physical limitations standpoint, I'm not positive that Deshaun Watson is going to be able to get back to the point where he can thrive in the regular season or even play really strongly with a live pass rush with whatever the Browns have at their offensive line. But I do think he's going to be really strong in practice, and so I'm not saying that Todd Monken is forgetting the roots of the season, but if he looks way better than Shedeur and Perez, which as I- I think is the likely reality based off where each of them are in their careers and what their historic skill sets are, the Browns are gonna be asking themselves, "Well, this guy who we're paying from a million guarantee, we can't get rid of the cap hit for him. We can't get rid of the cash for him." I know that these aren't always the same. Why don't we give him a chance and see if the ceiling that we believe Deshaun has, which is considered higher than Shedeur, even if they were all saying, "Hey, Shedeur's got elite playmaking ability," why not see if that could work? https://sports.yahoo.com/video/could-deshaun-watson-win-back-the-browns-qb-job-001445675.htmlIf this QB room stays more or less the same, I think it is a realistic option that we see Watson starting Week 1.

I think it is the right thing to say that none of the QB's has done anything and has to prove it to win the QB job. But it is also just March 5th so the QB room may look very different in a month or 2 months from now. Watson had/has the highest potential of all the QBs. He led the league in passing yards in 2020, has led a team to the playoffs, and went to multiple pro bowls. He is also now damaged goods with a major shoulder injury and 2 Achillies tender tears. Besides lack of playing last few years can he overcome all of that? Seems like a tall order. Sanders has flashed big play ability and led a couple late game comeback drives but did not show consistent ability in 2025 to lead an NFL offense. Gabriel shown the ability to not turn the ball over but little else. The Browns could easily make a move for a QB in 2026 and sign Maliek Willis, Kyler Murrey, Anthony Richardson or someone else that comes available. They could draft Simpson. That would drastically change the dynamics of that QB room. I would assume that if they stay pat at QB, they are looking at 2027 unless someone really emerges and takes the role. Sanders and Gabriel would be the QB's they would get a longer look at and if they fail get a 2027 QB. I think Watson would have to clearly head and shoulders beat out the two-2nd year QBs to win the job in 2026. Anything close to even and I believe Monken would stay with 1 of the youngsters. So bottom line is right now it looks like it is Sander's job to lose but a lot could and probably will change before September arrives.
