I was curious about when Simpson would get drafted.
Initially I thought it could go a number of different ways. In the end 20th in the first to the Rams was my first choice. He went 13th. to the Rams.
Teams see guys differently especially quarterbacks.
I love the draft. Berry IMO played it to near perfection. Simpson was not the guy I wanted.
I like what Berry did taking Taylen Green and where he was selected. He is worth rolling the dice on.
In the meantime there will be packages for him.
This is Shedeur Sanders job to hold or lose hold.
They put the marbles in the offense. New head coach with a new offense. New offensive line and new receivers. Last year new TE and RB.
Camp will be a riot with Monken.

Agreed !! Looking forward to this. I love Monken's abrasive or "direct" personality as we've witnessed so far. He wasn't my choice for HC but I have warmed to him considerably. Obviously a sustained (18-24 months) of losing and looking inept on Sundays will test him and it would be more difficult to maintain that persona in the face of perceived failure - but I honestly think we'll finally see players held accountable for their play - think of how OBJ didn't know where to line up, think of the drops from Jeudy and multiple receivers, think of the bone headed ST and Defensive plays we've made at odd times ... and think of how bland response was, while the team also tried to spin a narrative of tough and accountability that never materialized..

Monken was not near my first choice.
In fact I thought if this guy was not a head coach "yet." He probably is lacking.
I saw him as a good OC.
He is growing on me. he really is a no nonsense guy. Look you in the eye and pull no punch.
I do not think he will tolerate poor effort.

I feel the same way. I liked KS but he seemed too easy on the players and coaches. I don't know what went on behind the scenes and I feel he is a good coach but he didn't seem to hold anyone accountable for mistakes. Monken will from what I've seen so far. It's probably just what this team needs.

All we know is what Stefanski let us see. You nor anyone else knows what went on behind closed doors. One thing for sure. Any HC who is castigating their players in public and airing their teams dirty laundry in that way isn't fit to be an NFL HC.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Well, I expect no "Camp Cupcake" this year. Any input as to what Camp Monken may look like or his practice priorities we might see?

You don't have to castigate a player publicly to hold them accountable. After the 2nd or 3rd time a guy doesn't know where to line up, he sits on the sideline and the WR coach talks to him about where he needed to be and find out why he didn't know the play. After the player repeats a transgression - you sit him for a play or a series. None of us know what was going on in practice or behind the scenes but based on the platitudes in front of the press and the lack of any change on the field of play .... you can draw conclusions. Also I am pretty certain that players made comments at the season after his release that indicated something similar.

Shedeur isn't good enough to displace a healthy Watson, even if Watson is playing as poorly as he has since arriving here. Watson, I hate to say, will almost definitely be QB1 to start the season.

I am ok with this (Watson starting out the gate).
With all the change and the rookies inevitably being thrust into starting roles straight out the gate I don't expect this offense to click for a while. Ignoring everything else, the roster alone will take longer than one offseason to "fix". I'm more than happy for Watson to absorb those early starts while the offense struggles to get its feet under it.
