Ski was not the kind of a HC who established or demanded a high degree of respect and I believe some players took advantage, imo. And what is it you base that on? It's not required you yell, scream and treat people like crap to be a leader. What do you know about the inside of the team and that locker room that the rest of us don't?

The players saying that the camp in the Greenbriar in West Virginia in 2023 and 2024 were camp cupcakes. He tried to get tougher and more physical last season, and the defense did play more physical.

So then you're saying he fixed what you think was wrong? You see, I get it. Many NFL HC's slowly ramp up the intensity over the course of training camp. They certainly start out as "camp cupcake" but the intensity increases as camp progresses. I think that same reality is what Ski did. There isn't some one size fits all approach to this as some would like to suggest.

There is a lot to worry about the Browns 2026 season, the talent level of the defense isn't one of them. Worry might not be the word, I would say concern. If I do that, I have concerns about the corner position. I think we are thin at that position.

It's my opinion based on my own experience, playing for HCs who were able to successfully turning their teams from losers into winners.
I've also played for a HC who took a talented team and turned them into losers with his blood and guts attitude and methods.
