And what is it you base that on? It's not required you yell, scream and treat people like crap to be a leader. What do you know about the inside of the team and that locker room that the rest of us don't?

The players saying that the camp in the Greenbriar in West Virginia in 2023 and 2024 were camp cupcakes. He tried to get tougher and more physical last season, and the defense did play more physical.

So then you're saying he fixed what you think was wrong? You see, I get it. Many NFL HC's slowly ramp up the intensity over the course of training camp. They certainly start out as "camp cupcake" but the intensity increases as camp progresses. I think that same reality is what Ski did. There isn't some one size fits all approach to this as some would like to suggest.

Worry might not be the word, I would say concern. If I do that, I have concerns about the corner position. I think we are thin at that position.

Now if only you had been in Browns training camp to actually know what went on.

I'm not the one claiming to have some inside track of how Stefanski conducted training camp and whether he called for accountability behind the scene. You may wish to re-read the thread.

What I do know is that these are not kids. They are full grown men and will not tolerate being treated like they are in high school or college. That's why I don't even attempt to compare coaches I played under to the NFL. Too often we have seen great colleges coaches transfer that skill set over to the NFL and fail miserably.

The NFL is a different animal all together. It's not as simple as "Yeah when i played back in school".

The days of Ditka and Lombardi have long past. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I just know that will no longer work in the NFL.

So yeah, we agree that being overly aggressive as a HC in the NFL won't work. But I believe the balance is far more nuanced than some would like to make it appear. And that outward appearances probably don't tell the whole story. None of us know the inner workings of a team nor what's going on in the background that we never see. That's why I don't speculate on such things.
