The more I look at the changes...........the more I am disappointed.

What a let-down.

I do have a soft spot in my heart for pugs.

And the Browns have a soft spot for every team they face.

So you think a hat with an elf on it is cool,do you reside in the Shire?

I'd be alright with a stocking cap w/ the elf on it. Look, that's not going away- it's a 'secondary' logo. There is more than a cult following for the elf. I like the elf but I am glad it is not the main logo for the team...it just doesn't fit as the main figure.

I'm in agreement with many that I was hoping for a logo. Not a logo on the helmet, but:

- A logo I can see when ESPN provides highlights to a game
- A logo I can see at the 50 yard line at FirstEnergy
- A logo at the bottom of the TV screen instead of a filled-in orange square when FOX televises our games.

A helmet isn't a logo to me. All 32 teams have helmets. I want a figure (whatever that would have been) to be the logo--- a letter, a dog, a whatever....just something.

I will reiterate that I am quite fine with the helmet and face mask change....I just didn't want it to end there.

Oh, and by the way....I know for a FACT (the ominous 'sources' drop) the Browns didn't hire an outside marketing firm to help in this process....they did it all IN-HOUSE. I guess the work reflects that....at least the dog....that thing looks like amateur hour..

I would like to say that I am quite pleased they are keeping without a true logo.

I am not sure what I think about the color choice, but am willing to wait until I see the full ensemble on April 14th.

I'm glad that when I see a list of all 32 NFL teams now, that I won't have to see just a blank helmut as the only insignia to represent the Browns.

I'm glad they instituted the gray, replaced the white with the gray, I didn't think I'd like gray trim around the numbers but I'll get used to it.

But honestly, it's 2 days later, and besides the words "Dawg Pound" being somewhere, I still couldn't tell you what's changed, or even what the Browns logo is.

I didn't think they could be this messed up. How can you be a freakin disappointment in the off season, the reg season isn't bad enough.

Now I think they're just messing with my head, they didn't change anything, there is still no logo. Oh well.

Did I mention this team is the worst! Shaking my fist at my love for the Browns. Arrrgggghhhh!

Middle Earth elves are not the same as North Pole elves. They are pretty bad ass.

We had a coffee mug for you.

This past Christmas my 12 year old wanted a "I Hate Mondays" coffee mug. couldn't find one local but found one from an online site. We ordered it and it came in about a week before Christmas. Luckily we looked at it first because it had a picture of a pug with the text (something along the lines of) "If You Never Loved a Pug **** Off!" .. except it was not censored.

Double checked, we ordered the correct mug. They overnighted us the correct one.

Even if not, the bolder orange is a nice improvement when seen side by side.

The brown facemask is a nice improvement as well. Makes sense. Wonder why we didn't do that years ago?

I just wish they would've kept the bordering around the letters. It just looks puffy and cheesy to me. Like something on a kids' cereal box?

LOL what a joke. New logos and helmets are the last thing this franchise needs. I'd rather have actual "talented" players, but that's just me...

Well look at it as a new change for the team. As IMHO, all thirty-two teams need to go through a transformation change in uniform and helmet.

Why can't we have both? I wasn't aware that the former excluded the ability to acquire the latter.

The team hired some branding agency to appeal to the fan base and younger generations in this new rendition of the logo. That's all this is, a marketing move designed to re engage old fans and capture future market share. JUST IMO.

and that's what makes this funny. The Browns paid multiple people to say "Let's change the hue, brown out the facemask and shift vertical lines." They also paid for all the research that went into it. Honestly, there's better ways to spend that money. Like maybe pay a monkey to juggle footballs in Tower City Center?

We are already the laughing stock of the league and know we have brown facemasks?? I live in Bama and even the local talk show hosts who have nothing to do with Cleveland are taking shots at the Browns. Their question is,"Who in the world would really want to be a Browns fan?" Geezzzzzzzzzz. I have to hear this down here?????????? <---crying.

I thought all along the new uniforms would only have a new order of the stripes on the socks/shoulders and then maybe a different shade of the colors on the helmets and jersey.

We shall see...

I hope for their sake these things really are different. They got abused across the internet for the "new logo" reveal.
