The NFL awards the Rams the SB in L.A. as part of them moving their team and building a new stadium. L.A. just *happens* to get to be playing in the very same game.
I'm rooting for the San Andreas Fault.
Browns is the Browns

Rams, since I have a futures bet on the Rams from Last February, and because Stafford deserves it after all he's had to endure, and Burrows is young enough he will have another chance. Add that I don't need Cinci fans thinking they are special
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
Cinci "fans" are annoying, but I just can't with Odell's exit from the Browns just to get everything he wants in LA. I'm not going to go all "now everyone will do that since it worked for him", I just don't wish him success given how he acted this year.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
A never ending game, 0-0 tie until both teams concede. No winner announced. The Lombardi trophy is then melted down and forged into two swords. Both team captains publicly fall on their respective swords in an attempt to redeem their shame. The game is erased from NFL records. There’s fines for discussing it with the press.
I'm sticking with rooting for the San Andreas Fault to just take the whole state during the 1st Quarter, but yours is what I'm rooting for if Plan A doesn't work out.

I can't root for the Bengals but just in case they win I am betting on them. So if they lose, it's a small price to pay. If they win, the winnings will help deal with the noise from all the LIFELONG Bengals fans. LOL
Berry can go. Stefanski can go. Watson can go. Hello Mike Vrabel! Find me my GM and QB!
The Bengals came from the Browns so to me they and the Ravens are non-existent, because without Cleveland neither one exists ... GO RAMS

I think the Bengals will win it. Not really rooting for them, just think they'll beat the Rams. But if I was forced to root for a side, it would be the Bengals because OBJ is on the Rams, and can't root for him.
The stadium which bills itself as a dome is part way not having outside walls, and iirc, had a game postponed by lightening in Sept or August of last year, it's opening year. (earlier this football season year).

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
Hoping for a really good competitive game. I would like to see the Bengals win because they are from Ohio and so am I, but I would still be somewhat happy to see the Rams win because Matt Stafford was on a bad team for so long and it's nice to see him finally shine.
I think the Rams have the edge on this one and if they win there will be a part of me that hates seeing OBJ being part of that. Another knife in the gut of a diehard Browns fan.
As others have said, I like that Stafford is finally able to be on a good team, and I like Cincy since they are from my teams division.
Much like SEC teams, I will mostly be for Cincy in this one. Them winning makes us better in a roundabout way. That said, if the Rams win, I won't be sad.
If I had to put $500 on it, I'd bet the Rams.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
Still a day+ before the game kicks off. As a casual observation, it seems to me the Bengals defense is built on a traditional and basic model. They might have maximized the pieces but it seems very traditional, not new aged scheme. Not a bunch of smoke and mirrors and tricks.

BOTTOM LINE: RAMS DL VS BUNGALS OL ... I Will Take the RAMS DL

on paper I think the Rams have more talent... but there's something about Burrow in the playoffs this year... wouldn't bet against him...
Yup... it's either going to be the team we beat twice or the team where OBJ is indisputably 2nd or 3rd best instead of being the absolute best on the team by a huge margin.
This game highlights just how close we are to being there despite missing the playoffs, despite the hugely disappointing year by Baker, and despite a defense that lost us as many games as it kept us in.
Browns is the Browns

I don't agree at all - I am rooting for the Bengals. We beat them twice with a QB who was awful for most of the year. For all the woe is me hand wringing we seem to have done as a fan base after narrowly missing out of the playoffs in the final 2 weeks of the season ... I think this super bowl shows how close we are. As for OBJ - after the way he did Cleveland wrong, I don't want him to succeed. But I am also not going to let whatever success he does or does not have this day impact me.
Could be a big day for Higgins and Boyd - my gut says the Rams will find a way to try to counter Ja'Marr CHase.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
I’m just kinda disgusted and part of me doesn’t want to even watch. I boycotted the Rat’s fist SB game. I’ve never seen even a play of it. In my mind it barely existed. Part of me kinda wants to do the same this afternoon. As it stands I’ll watch. If the Bungles get up big I’m turning it off. I guess that makes me a Rams fan today?
Another quality juvenile post from you. I think 99% of fans and neutrals would agree that OBJ orchestrating his departure form the Browns makes my statement accurate. But you do you.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
I will be rooting against the Bengals, as usual, with gusto. I would never root for them or their bandwagon, trash talking, fickle, fake fans. Go Rams!!
My hope is that the game is tied 9-9, late in the 4th quarter. OBJ has already fumbled twice, losing both. The Rams have the ball, with less than a minute left, They are at midfield, and Stafford hits OBJ who is wide, wide open. He takes 4 steps, and no one is within 6 feet. Sudenly, he fumbles again. The Bengals recover at their own 35.
The Bengals take over. Burrows drops back, he gets hit as he throws, the Rams intercept, and take it back for the TD to win the game.
That would be my totally non vindictive fantasy.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
I look at the Titans playoff game against the Bengals and it gives me pause. The Titans defense sacked Burrows nine times. The Bengals still managed to win that game by a score of 19-16. Burrows still produced well in terms of percentage and yards but didn't pass for a TD. I think the Rams defense is just a tad better. So will the Bengals be able to protect Burrows? Tannehill threw 3 int's that day and was held to 16 points. I don't see the Bengals holding the rams to 16 points. All in all it should at least be a good game. Hopefully.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
Man your posts get more ridiculous. Hard to believe but here is the evidence. I see that you're spinning again and suggesting that because other players on other teams complain and want to be traded that suddenly that it's okay. And that teams with malcontents that try to orchestrate a departure is just par for the course and fans shouldn't feel as if the player has done wrong by the team if they engineer a release ... not a trade, where the team might get something of value back even if it's a discount ... players engineering a release from the team should be treated like no big deal. lmao.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

Bengals should have let them score right after the first foul. This was inevitable. Now not enough time .

That was a surprisingly good game. I was going to be mad if that PI face mask non-call ended up being the deciding factor. That missed extra point was almost a big deal.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!
What happened to Joe Burrow on the 2 3rd quarter drives following the Rams field goal that brought the score to 20-16? On those 2 failed offensive drives lies the loss imo. The Rams did very little to win the game also, imo, but they got the victory.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
It's too bad the refs decided to hold their flags until the final moments of the game. I think there were 2 unsportsmanlike penalties called the entire game. Then on the final drive they start tossing them for things they allowed the entire game.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
i wonder if Missouri residents are still ticked off over the Rams relocating to LA.
i would be. wonder who Nelly wanted to win (probably bengals)

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
I guess Bengal fans are griping today about the calls against their defense in the red zone on the Rams winning drive. I thought they were good calls; Kupp got mugged on both of those plays. Up to that point, I had been surprised at all the calls the refs didn't make, like the blatant facemask by Higgins on Ramsey that produced a Bengal TD, and also on the (legal) push out of bounds of Burrow near the sideline where I saw at least 3 Bengals take shots at Aaron Donald in the scrum after the play.
I wouldn't say Kupp got mugged. The facemask by Higgins was bad.
But let's be honest... who here wasn't waiting for the refs to suddenly start throwing flags all over the field for a drive after letting them play the rest of the game?
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
I know the missed face mask was a gift on the Bengals TD. But that was early in the game and if you watch it full speed, you aren't sure what the hell happened. The end of the game was a poop-storm of bad calls. All went the way of the Rams.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
The Bengals bad quarterback play in the 3rd quarter lost them the game by failing to add to their total of 20 points on 2 or 3 drives. The coach should have been more upset, maybe even should have played the backup quarterback for a drive.

On the defensive holding at the 5 yd line, the LB had a fistful of Kupp's jersey in one hand and the other arm wrapped around Kupp. That's a mugging. Ditto on the DPI against Apple who was clearly holding Kupps jersey and inhibiting his ability to get to the ball. These weren't ticky tack calls, they were fairly obvious ones, IMO.
The Rams were moving the ball at ease and scoring when they had two legitimate WR threats on the field. Once one of them went down, they were stifled. The loss of that WR with the knee injury was devastating to their offense. The game announcers saw just how obvious it was. They saw just how much an infusion of talent on both the O and D as the season wore on paid big dividends.
In the end, when the game was on the line, the Rams D stepped up and the Rams came up with a game winning drive. The constant pressure and sacks the Rams handed Burrows were the death knell.
It was very competitive game which involved good offensive as well as defensive play. Even when the Bengals couldn't seem to stop the Rams until one of their best offensive contributors went down with a knee injury.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
OBJ went down with a couple minutes left in the 2nd, so I'm just using quarter stats (I don't remember if LA had the ball in the 1st half after OBJ went down).
I don't see an offense that "were moving the ball at ease", and then "they were stifled" after one dude went down. Stafford threw INTs in each half, but the 2nd half one resulted in 0 yards for that drive, vs 37 yards on the 1 in the first half. They also picked up some yards in the second half off of penalties vs completions. I know they leaned on Kupp in the late part of the game pretty hard (seemed like it anyway).
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
IMO.. IF the bungles had the Browns starting Oline, and the secondary they would have won the game.. conversely, if the Browns had the Browns starting Oline (the healthy version) and the bungles starting QB we would have won that game.
There were almost four minutes left in the first half when OBJ went down. If you couldn't see how much more trouble the Rams had moving the ball after he went down I can't help you. They scored a grand total of three points the entire game after that before the ending drive.

Except for that one touchdown in the first half, they only scored 7 points with him.

I didn't see much of a difference, and I don't need your help. I laid out the total and air yardage totals for each half. There's not much of a difference (54), especially considering one of the 2nd half drives was 1 play (INT). Passing yards accounted for all but 20 of their yards in the first half, and all but 12 yards in the second.
That backs up what I saw. They were not 'stifled' after OBJ. They had to overcome a couple bad plays. Their defense did a really good job of getting them the ball back as the game went on. When they needed a score in crunch time, they went to their dude, Kupp, and got what they needed to win.

To win that game, 1st of all the Browns would have to had to get past the Chiefs And in 2 years the Browns have to.beat the Chiefs
Just saw a clip of the last play. It sure looks like Perine half-assed it and should have caught that ball with the Super Bowl on the line. It was an amazing effort by Burrow to even get that off as he was being flung to the ground. It's at 3:49 of this clip:

I still don't think the Bengals have exorcised all their past demons. Mike Brown has to cheap out somewhere.

Brown definitely has that foil factor. We’ll see what they do with their OL. I saw somewhere that Burrow has taken way more of a beating at this point than Andrew Luck did. He also doesn’t have Luck’s build.
They need to protect what is likely their best QB in franchise history.
I think we’re also waiting to see what exactly happened to his knee toward the end of the game as well, aren’t we?

A good chunk of it is actually on him (holding the ball), but the Bengals were setting BAD records in their run this year (sacks). I think they'll look at getting to the SB as 'good enough' and pretty much roll with what they had this year.

I want to say I think the Bengals Offensive line was good enough going into the final game the Super bowl, to win it, Now, as far as relying on it for a whole season, maybe it needs a tiny bit of work, but for that one game, I think their OL was not only up to the task but probably going to play well because they were so maligned all season in the public opinion. They already, added Jackson Carmen last year and he will get healthier, but the real strength of their OL, as most could have probably seen were the additions of Spain and Prince (even if over a year had passed) and if they could have used them correctly. The Rams won the super bowl with freaking Austin Corbett playing, not just off the bench but I think starting, so I guess getting the most out of lesser players is only a problem the Browns have, the Browns can never do it, but other teams always seem to know how to.
